Wearing safety helmets at construction sites is a major measure to prevent safety accidents, so it is essential to supervise and ensure that workers wear safety helmets. This requires a high degree of real-time performance. We improved the network structure based on YOLOv7. To enhance real-time performance, we introduced GhostModule after comparing various modules to create a new efficient structure that generates more feature mappings with fewer linear operations. SE blocks were introduced after comparing several attention mechanisms to highlight important information in the image. The EIOU loss function was introduced to speed up the convergence of the model. Eventually, we constructed the efficient model EGS-YOLO. EGS-YOLO achieves a mAP of 91.1%, 0.2% higher than YOLOv7, and the inference time is 13.3% faster than YOLOv7 at 3.9 ms (RTX 3090). The parameters and computational complexity are reduced by 37.3% and 33.8%, respectively. Background: Rotator cuff tears are a common shoulder injury that significantly impacts patients' daily lives and work abilities. Although surgical treatment methods for rotator cuff tears have been continuously improved with advances in medical technology, postoperative rehabilitation remains challenging. Therefore, finding effective rehabilitation treatments is crucial for improving patient prognosis and enhancing quality of life. This study will aim to systematically evaluate the impact of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) on postoperative rehabilitation of rotator cuff tears, comprehensively assessing the efficacy and safety of LIPUS in postoperative recovery. Methods: This protocol will search multiple databases including PubMed/MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane Library, CNKI, Scopus, and Web of Science to identify randomized controlled trials related to LIPUS for postoperative rehabilitation of rotator cuff tears. The search will encompass literature published from the inception of the databases up to April 2024. Methodological quality assessment and data extraction will be conducted using the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions and PRISMA guidelines. Meta-analysis will be performed on appropriate studies using either random-effects or fixed-effects models, and subgroup analyses will be conducted to explore potential heterogeneity. Studies meeting the inclusion criteria will be included in the analysis. All analyses will be performed using Stata version 16.0. Results: The incidence of rotator cuff tear rates will be assessed by imaging techniques such as MRI or ultrasound. Pain intensity will be scored using standardized pain assessment scales, such as the Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Improved range of motion (ROM) in shoulder flexion, abduction, and rotation. Functional outcomes will be evaluated using effective measures such as Constant-Murley scores (CMS) and shoulder joint scores by American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES). Adverse events associated with LIPUS therapy, including skin irritation, increased pain, or any other complications. Subgroup analysis will also be carried out if possible. Discussion and conclusion: Following the meta-analysis, we will assess the overall effect of LIPUS on postoperative rehabilitation of rotator cuff tears, and further explore its impact on aspects such as pain relief, functional improvement, and postoperative complications. It is anticipated that this study will provide comprehensive evidence regarding the role of LIPUS in postoperative rehabilitation of rotator cuff tears, guiding clinical practice and future research. The dry reforming of methane provides an attractive route to convert greenhouse gases (CH4 and CO2) into valuable syngas, so as to resolve the carbon cycle and environmental issues. However, the development of high-performance catalysts remains a huge challenge. Herein, we report a 0.6% Ir/CeO2−x catalyst with a metal-support interface structure which exhibits high CH4 (~72%) and CO2 (~82%) conversion and a CH4 reaction rate of ~973 μmolCH4 gcat−1 s−1 which is stable over 100 h at 700 °C. The performance of the catalyst is close to the state-of-the-art in this area of research. A combination of in situ spectroscopic characterization and theoretical calculations highlight the importance of the interfacial structure as an intrinsic active center to facilitate the CH4 dissociation (the rate-determining step) and the CH2* oxidation to CH2O* without coke formation, which accounts for the long-term stability. The catalyst in this work has a potential application prospect in the field of high-value utilization of carbon resources. Background: Rotator cuff tendinopathy (RCT) is a widespread musculoskeletal disorder and a primary cause of shoulder pain and limited function. The resulting pain and limited functionality have a detrimental impact on the overall quality of life. The purpose of this study was to perform a systematic review of the effects of extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) for RCT. Methods: The literature search was conducted on the following databases from inception to February 20, 2024: PubMed, Web of Science, the Cochrane Library, Scopus, MEDLINE, EMBASE, EBSCO, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) were checked to identify the potential studies exploring the effect of ESWT for the treatment of Rotator cuff tendinopathy (Calcification or non-calcification), control group for sham, other treatments (including placebo), without restriction of date, language. Two researchers independently screened literature, extracted data, evaluated the risk of bias in the included studies, and performed meta-analysis using RevMan 5.3 software. Results: A total of 16 RCTs with 1093 patients were included. The results showed that compared with the control group, ESWT for pain score Visual Analogue Scale/Score (VAS) (SMD = -1.95, 95% CI -2.47, -1.41, P < 0.00001), function score Constant-Murley score (CMS) (SMD = 1.30, 95% CI 0.67, 1.92, P < 0.00001), University of California Los Angeles score (UCLA) (SMD = 2.69, 95% CI 1.64, 3.74, P < 0.00001), American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons form (ASES) (SMD = 1.29, 95% CI 0.93, 1.65, P < 0.00001), Range of motion (ROM) External rotation (SMD = 1.00, 95% CI 0.29, 1.72, P = 0.02), Total effective rate (TER) (OR = 3.64, 95% CI 1.85, 7.14, P = 0.0002), the differences in the above results were statistically significant. But ROM-Abduction (SMD = 0.72, 95% CI -0.22, 1.66, P = 0.13), the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion: Currently limited evidence suggests that, compared with the control group, ESWT can provide better pain relief, functional recovery, and maintenance of function in patients with RCT. Heterogeneous thermal-catalytic CO2 hydrogenation to alcohols using renewable energy is a highly attractive approach for recycling greenhouse gases into high-value chemicals and fuels, thereby reducing the dependence on fossil fuels, while simultaneously mitigating the CO2 emission and environmental problems. Currently, great advances have been made on the heterogeneous catalysts, but an in-depth and more comprehensive understanding to further promote this reaction process is still lacking. Herein, we highlight the thermodynamic and kinetic analysis of CO2 hydrogenation reaction firstly. Then, various reaction pathways for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol and higher alcohols (C2+ alcohols) have been discussed in detail, respectively, by combining the experimental studies and density functional theory calculations. On this basis, the key factors influencing the reaction performance, such as metal dispersion, support modification, promoter addition and their structural optimization, are summarized on the metal-based and metal-oxide-based catalysts. In addition, the catalytic performance of CO2 hydrogenation to alcohols and the relationship between structure and properties are mainly summarized and analyzed in the past five years. To conclude, the current challenges and potential strategies in catalyst design, structural characterization and reaction mechanisms are presented for CO2 hydrogenation to alcohols. Objective Methods Results Conclusion The craniovertebral junction (CVJ) presents intricate anatomical challenges. In severe or irreducible malformations, complications such as reduction loss and fixation failure may occur, necessitating revision surgery. The posterior facet joint distraction and fusion (PFDF) technique, offers a solely posterior approach for revisions. Hence, we delineate varied revision scenarios, proposing surgical strategies and technical details to enhance outcomes and mitigate risks, thereby enriching the neurosurgical community's repertoire.This was a retrospective cohort study, analyzed patient data from Xuanwu Hospital, between 2017 to 2023. All patients had a history of surgical treatment for CVJ malformations, and experienced failure or loss of reduction. The distance from the odontoid process tip to the Chamberlain's line (DCL), the atlantodental interval (ADI), clivus‐canal angle, cervicomedullary angle, width of subarachnoid space, CVJ area, and width of syrinx were used for radiographic assessment. Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) scores and SF‐12 scores were used for clinical assessment. Independent sample t‐tests were employed. A significance level of p < 0.05 indicates statistically significant differences.We analyzed data from 35 patients. For patients who underwent PFDF, the postoperative DCL, ADI, and clivus‐canal angle significantly improved. For all patients, the postoperative cervicomedullary angle, width of subarachnoid space, CVJ area, and width of syrinx all demonstrated significant improvement, indicating the relief of neural compression. All patients showed significant improvement in both symptoms and clinical assessments.Severe atlantoaxial joint locking or ligament contracting are the fundamental cause of reduction and fixation failure. Anterior odontoidectomy is indicated for patients with robust bony fusion of the atlantoaxial joint in an unreduced position. The PFDF technique is safe and effective for patients with incomplete atlantoaxial bony fusion. Background: This study aimed to investigate the short-term complications (minimum 1-year follow-up) after either an arthroscopic Bristow or Latarjet procedure for anterior shoulder instability utilizing screw or suture-button fixation., Methods: Patients undergoing arthroscopic Bristow or Latarjet procedures between November 2016 and April 2021 were enrolled. Data were collected at baseline, 3 months, 6 months, and every year after surgery. Risks of postoperative complications and unplanned reoperations were assessed. A multivariable regression model was used to identify risk factors for complications and to determine the association of complications with patient-reported outcomes., Results: A total of 412 patients (425 shoulders) undergoing arthroscopic Bristow or Latarjet procedures performed by a single surgeon between November 2016 and April 2021 were reviewed. Two hundred and ninety-nine patients (308 shoulders, 76.2% of 404 eligible) with a mean follow-up of 22.3 ± 4.2 months were included for analysis. Two hundred and sixty-nine shoulders (87.3%) underwent a Bristow procedure (165 with screw and 104 with suture-button fixation), while 39 (12.7%) underwent a Latarjet procedure (18 with screw and 21 with suture-button fixation). Eighty-two patients (83 shoulders) reported a total of 85 complications within 2 years after surgery, with an overall complication rate of 26.9%. The rates of recurrent dislocation or subluxation and infection were 1.9% and 0.6%, respectively, while a total of 4 (1.3%) of the shoulders had unplanned reoperations. The most common complications were graft-related (11.7%), followed by complications involving neurologic symptoms (10.7%). The overall, graft, and neurologic complication rates following Bristow or Latarjet procedures were 27.1% versus 25.6%, 12.3% versus 7.7%, and 10.0% versus 15.4%, respectively. Compared with the Bristow technique with screw fixation, Bristow with suture-button fixation yielded a lower risk of any complications (odds ratio [OR], 0.55; p = 0.04). Paying with rural insurance and poor sleep quality prior to surgery were associated with increased risk of any complications., Conclusions: Compared with arthroscopic Bristow procedures with screw fixation, Bristow procedures with suture-button fixation resulted in a lower overall complication risk. Objective: To explore the research progress of the coracoid transfer surgery using suture button fixation, particularly focusing on the technique known as Chinese unique Inlay Bristow (Cuistow surgery)., Methods: Extensive literature review was conducted to summarize and analyze the utilization of suture button fixation in the Cuistow surgery, comparing its biomechanical and clinical outcomes with those of traditional screw fixation., Results: Utilizing suture button fixation in coracoid transfer surgery helps circumvent certain metal-related complications associated with traditional screw fixation. While its biomechanical stability and effectiveness have been preliminarily confirmed, debates persist regarding its graft healing rate and postoperative recurrence rate compared to traditional screw fixation. The Cuistow surgery based on the Inlay structure is a solution to improve the healing rate of graft after suture button fixation., Conclusion: Suture button fixation, as a novel approach in coracoid transfer surgery, remains to have its advantages and disadvantages compared to traditional screw fixation not entirely elucidated, underscoring the need for further in-depth clinical and fundamental research. Cuistow surgery is the Chinese experience of coracoid transfer surgery, and its biomechanical stability and clinical advantages have been preliminarily confirmed.

Spinal Cord Independence Measure (SCIM) was an important functional outcome measure specifically designed for spinal cord injury (SCI) patients, with the self-reported version of SCIM (SCIM-SR) published in 2013. This study aims to translate the SCIM-SR into Chinese, and to investigate the validity of Chinese SCIM-SR among SCI patients. This Chinese version of SCIM-SR was translated into Chinese in a standardized approach, and then filled out by a sample of patients with SCI (n = 205) within 3 days after admission. Validity of Chinese SCIM-SR was then analyzed using Rasch analysis and principal component analysis. The subscale Selfcare and subscale Mobility showed good fit to the Rasch model, with no significance found in Chi-square test results for item-trait interaction, using Bonferroni adjustment for the significant level (χ 2 =18.125, P = 0.111; χ 2 =33.629, P = 0.006). Mean fit residual for items and persons of each subscale were within ± 2.5. The model fit of the subscale of Respiration and Sphincter Management was not satisfactory even after deleting one item and merging two items with local dependence. However, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin test was > 0.50 in total score and all the subscales of Chinese SCIM-SR, and P < 0.05 in the Bartlett's test. There was no differential item functioning for gender, time post injury, age, and etiology in any of the three subscales. An online version of Chinese SCIM-SR was also developed. It is concluded that the SCIM-SR in Chinese is valid for application in individuals with SCI.
