This study aims to investigate the properties of fractional calculus theory (FCT) in the complex domain. We focus on the relationship between the theories of special functions (SFT) and FCT, which have seen recent advancements and have led to various successful applications in fields such as engineering, mathematics, physics, biology, and other allied disciplines. Our main contribution is the development of a special function, specifically the confluent hypergeometric function (CHF) on the complex domain. By deriving various implementations of fractional order derivatives and integral operators using this function, we present a new class of special functions combining certain cases of Mittag-Leffler and confluent hypergeometric functions. Moreover, a new numerical technique for solving linear and nonlinear multi-order fractional differential equations has been developed using the proposed class of functions and the point collocation method. Graphical results are shown to demonstrate the efficacy of this proposed technique and its applicability.

This research introduced a new method, the Aboodh Tamimi Ansari transform method ($ (AT)^2 $ method), for solving systems of linear and nonlinear fractional partial differential equations. The method combined the Aboodh transform method and the Tamimi Ansari method, allowing for the simultaneous solution of linear and nonlinear terms without restrictions. The Caputo sense was considered for fractional derivatives. The effectiveness of the proposed method was demonstrated through numerical solutions, graphical representations, and tabular data, showing strong agreement with exact solutions. The approach was deemed precise, easy to apply, and could be extended to address further challenges in fractional-order problems. Computational tasks were carried out using Mathematica 13.

Objectives: It was aimed to compare the clinical results of the mini-monovision technique (MMV) with enhanced monofocal intraocular lens (IOL) and trifocal IOL applications and to evaluate the intereye differences in the MMV group. Materials and Methods: This retrospective observational study evaluated the results of cataract surgeries performed on 48 eyes of 24 patients. Surgeries in Group I were performed for MMV using the RayOne EMV IOL targeting emmetropia in dominant eyes (Group IA) and -0.70 diopter (D) myopia in non-dominant eyes (Group IB), while those in Group II were performed with the AcrySof® IQ PanOptixTM TNFT00 IOL targeting emmetropia. After the surgeries, uncorrected and corrected distance, intermediate, and near distance visual acuities, contrast sensitivity measurements, and defocus curves were determined. Subjective evaluation was made with the National Eye Institute Visual Function Questionnaire (NEI VFQ-25). The groups were compared statistically. Results: Postoperative refraction mean spherical equivalent was -0.25±0.22 D, -0.67±0.33 D, and -0.16±0.31 D in the three groups, respectively. A statistical difference was identified in favor of Group IA for uncorrected distance vision and in favor of Group IB for near vision (p0.05). While contrast sensitivity was better in Group I at all spatial frequencies (p0.05). Photic complaints were significantly more common in Group II. Conclusion: With the MMV technique, it was observed that enhanced monofocal lenses provided better visual acuity at all distances and less dysphotopsia than trifocal lenses, whereas trifocal lenses were better at providing independence from glasses.

Abstract Background Flipped teaching is an interactive learning strategy that actively engages students in the learning process. Students have an active role in flipped teaching as they independently prepare for the class. Class time is dedicated to discussion and learning activities. Thus, it is believed that flipped teaching promotes students’ critical thinking, communication, application of knowledge in real-life situations, and becoming lifelong learners. The aim of this study was to describe the students’ perception of flipped teaching as an innovative learning strategy. And to assess if there was a difference in students’ academic performance between those who participated in a traditional teaching strategy compared to those who participated in flipped teaching intervention. Method A quasi-experimental design with intervention and control groups. A purposive sampling technique of undergraduate nursing students was used. Results A total of 355 students participated in both groups, and 70 out of 182 students in the intervention group completed the survey. The students perceived a moderate level of effectiveness of the flipped teaching classroom as a teaching strategy. The result revealed that there is a statistically significant difference in the mean students’ scores for the intervention group (M = 83.34, SD = 9.81) and control group (M = 75.57, SD = 9.82). Conclusion Flipped teaching proves its effectiveness in improving students’ learning experience and academic performance. Also, students had a positive perception about flipped teaching as it allowed them to develop essential nursing competencies. Future studies must consider measuring the influence of flipped teaching on students’ ability to acquire nursing competencies, such as critical thinking and clinical reasoning.

Therefore, this research aims to close this gap. To do so, sixty intermediate EFL students were selected and divided into DA and SA groups to do so. The two groups were then given pretests on the four dependent variables. Subsequently, one group was taught ten reading literary texts with 100 new words using DA, whereas the other group was taught identical materials using SA. After the 8-week course, both groups took the post-tests on resilience, burnout, PO, and academic performance. The study’s findings showed that the DA group did better than the SA group on the four post-tests. It can be concluded that using DA with the support of literary texts can produce positive effects in EFL classes. The current study has consequences for researchers, students, English instructors, and other stakeholders.

This study aimed to extract apple juice from green apple fruits previously treated with aqueous extract of apple peels, before storing the extracted juice at a temperature of (4)°C, for a period of (30) days, and comparing it with the juice of untreated fruits in order to determine the effect of inhibiting the polyphenol enzyme. Polyphenol oxidase (PPO) in apple fruits according to the treatments mentioned in some characteristics of apple juice extracted from those fruits. The studied characteristics are: residual enzymatic activity, total soluble sugars, ascorbic acid content, total phenols content, and browning index, as they were immersed in Fruits treated with aqueous extract of apple peels had a significant effect in reducing the residual enzymatic activity and ascorbic acid values of the treated fruit juice, while the total soluble sugars and total phenols content had a significant increase in their values after the end of the storage period, while the browning index values were not affected at the end of storage.

Abstract Background Peripheral insulin resistance and compromised insulin secretion from pancreatic β-cells are significant factors and pathogenic hallmarks of diabetes mellitus (DM). NF-κβ/TLR-4 and SERCA/Ca2+ pathways have been identified as potential pathways regulating insulin synthesis by preserving pancreatic β-cell functioning. The current study aimed to evaluate the therapeutic effect of aged garlic extract (AGE) against DM in a streptozotocin (STZ)-induced rat model with particular emphasis on pancreatic β-cell functioning. Methods AGE was characterized by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to evaluate its physio-chemical characteristics followed by in-vitro anti-diabetic and antioxidant potential. This was followed by the induction of DM in laboratory animals for investigating the therapeutic action of AGE by evaluating the role of NF-κβ/TLR-4 and the SERCA/Ca2+ pathway. The parameters assessed in the present experimental setup encompassed antioxidant parameters, metabolic indicators, insulin concentration, intracellular calcium levels, apoptotic markers (CCK-8 and Caspase Glo-8), and protein expression (P-62 and APACHE-II). Results AGE characterization by SEM, GC-MS, and X-ray diffraction (XRD) revealed the presence of phenylalanine, alliin, S-allylmercaptocysteine (SAMC), tryptophan, 1-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-β-carboline-3-carboxylic acid as major bioactive constituents of AGE. Metabolic studies, including intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test (IPGTT), revealed significantly lower blood glucose levels in the AGE group compared to the disease control group. In contrast, the intraperitoneal insulin tolerance test (ITT) exhibited no significant difference in insulin sensitivity between the AGE supplementation group and the DM control group. Interestingly, AGE was found to have no significant effect on fasting glucose and serum insulin levels. In contrast, AGE supplementation was found to cause significant hypoglycaemia in postprandial blood glucose and insulin levels. Importantly, AGE causes restoration of intracellular Ca2+ levels by modulation of SERCA/Ca2 functioning and inhibition NF-κB/TLR-4 pathway. AGE was found to interact with and inhibit the DR-5/ caspase-8/3 apoptotic complex. Furthermore, microscopic studies revealed degeneration and apoptotic changes in pancreatic β-cells of the DM control group, while supplementation of AGE resulted in inhibition of apoptotic pathway and regeneration of pancreatic β-cells. Conclusion The current study suggests that AGE enhance glucose homeostasis by exerting their effects on pancreatic β-cells, without ameliorating peripheral sensitivity. Moreover, AGEs promote an increase in β-cell mass by mitigating the apoptosis of pancreatic β-cells. These findings suggest that AGE could aid in developing a viable alternative therapy for diabetes mellitus (DM).

Abstract Limited data exist on viral hepatitis among migrant populations. This study investigated the prevalence of current hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection and lifetime hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection among Qatar's migrant craft and manual workers (CMWs), constituting 60% of the country's population. Sera collected during a nationwide COVID-19 population-based cross-sectional survey on CMWs between July 26 and September 9, 2020, underwent testing for HBsAg and HCV antibodies. Reactive samples underwent confirmatory testing, and logistic regression analyses were employed to explore associations with HBV and HCV infections. Among 2528 specimens tested for HBV infection, 15 were reactive, with 8 subsequently confirmed positive. Three samples lacked sufficient sera for confirmatory testing but were included in the analysis through multiple imputations. Prevalence of current HBV infection was 0.4% (95% CI 0.2–0.7%). Educational attainment and occupation were significantly associated with current HBV infection. For HCV infection, out of 2607 specimens tested, 46 were reactive, and 23 were subsequently confirmed positive. Prevalence of lifetime HCV infection was 0.8% (95% CI 0.5–1.2%). Egyptians exhibited the highest prevalence at 6.5% (95% CI 3.1–13.1%), followed by Pakistanis at 3.1% (95% CI 1.1–8.0%). Nationality, geographic location, and occupation were significantly associated with lifetime HCV infection. HBV infection is relatively low among CMWs, while HCV infection falls within the intermediate range, both compared to global and regional levels.

Abstract This study was carried out in 2022 to examine the yield, yield components and changes in crop water stress index (CWSI) and vegetation index in black cumin with deficit irrigation. Five different irrigation water levels (I0, I25, I50, I75, I100) were used. The amount of irrigation water applied changed between 20 and 276 mm. Plant water consumption (ET) values varied between 182 and 425 mm. The highest seed yields were obtained from I100 treatments (692 t ha−1) and the lowest from I0 treatments (25 t ha−1). Biological yield, plant height, stem diameter, first capsule height, number of capsules per plant, number of branches per plant, number of seeds per capsule and 1000-seed weight of black cumin were affected by deficit irrigation. CWSI lower limit equation to be used in irrigation scheduling was identified Tc−Ta = − 1.7524 × VPD + 0.7698 (R2 = 0.54) and the upper limit 10.9 ℃. For black cumin plants, irrigation is recommended when the CWSI value is between 0.08 and 0.12. 9 different spectral vegetation indices were evaluated in this study. It has been determined that there are significant correlations between yield, yield components and CWSI and spectral vegetation indices.

Abstract Solitary wave solutions are of great interest to bio-mathematicians and other scientists because they provide a basic description of nonlinear phenomena with many practical applications. They provide a strong foundation for the development of novel biological and medical models and therapies because of their remarkable behavior and persistence. They have the potential to improve our comprehension of intricate biological systems and help us create novel therapeutic approaches, which is something that researchers are actively investigating. In this study, solitary wave solutions of the nonlinear Murray equation will be discovered using a modified extended direct algebraic method. These solutions represent a uniform variation in blood vessel shape and diameter that can be used to stimulate blood flow in patients with cardiovascular disease. These solutions are newly in the literature, and give researchers an important tool for grasping complex biological systems. To see how the solitary wave solutions behave, graphs are displayed using Matlab.

Abstract The majority of patients with Parkinson disease (PD) experience a loss in their sense of smell and accumulate insoluble α-synuclein aggregates in their olfactory bulbs (OB). Subjects affected by a SARS-CoV-2-linked illness (COVID-19) also frequently experience hyposmia. We previously postulated that microglial activation as well as α-synuclein and tau misprocessing can occur during host responses following microbial encounters. Using semiquantitative measurements of immunohistochemical signals, we examined OB and olfactory tract specimens collected serially at autopsies between 2020 and 2023. Deceased subjects comprised 50 adults, which included COVID19 + patients (n = 22), individuals with Lewy body disease (e.g., PD; dementia with Lewy bodies (n = 6)), Alzheimer disease (AD; n = 3), and other neurodegenerative disorders (e.g., progressive supranuclear palsy (n = 2); multisystem atrophy (n = 1)). Further, we included neurologically healthy controls (n = 9), and added subjects with an inflammation-rich brain disorder as neurological controls (NCO; n = 7). When probing for microglial and histiocytic reactivity in the anterior olfactory nuclei (AON) by anti-CD68 immunostaining, scores were consistently elevated in NCO and AD cases. In contrast, microglial signals on average were not significantly altered in COVID19 + patients relative to healthy controls, although anti-CD68 reactivity in their OB and tracts declined with progression in age. Mild-to-moderate increases in phospho-α-synuclein and phospho-tau signals were detected in the AON of tauopathy- and synucleinopathy-afflicted brains, respectively, consistent with mixed pathology, as described by others. Lastly, when both sides were available for comparison in our case series, we saw no asymmetry in the degree of pathology of the left versus right OB and tracts. We concluded from our autopsy series that after a fatal course of COVID-19, microscopic changes in the rostral, intracranial portion of the olfactory circuitry -when present- reflected neurodegenerative processes seen elsewhere in the brain. In general, microglial reactivity correlated best with the degree of Alzheimer’s-linked tauopathy and declined with progression of age in COVID19 + patients.

In this paper, three types of horizontal ground heat exchangers (GHEs) such as U-tube, spiral, and slinky were numerically analyzed to investigate their thermal performance in cooling mode for 7 days of continuous operation with specific boundary conditions where a rectangular trench of 5 m in length, 2 m in width, and 5 m in depth served as the basis for the modeling of each heat exchanger. The pipe material was selected to be high density polyethylene for higher durability and corrosion resistance, as well as the soil and working fluid, which were clay and water. To confirm the accuracy of simulation results and reduce the computational time, a mesh independence test was performed, and simulation models were validated. There were four types of modifications, and in all of the cases, slinky GHE has better thermal performance. For instance, the heat exchange rate per unit trench length of slinky GHE was 20.72 W/m, which is higher than U-tube and spiral tube with a heat exchange rate of 9.75 and 13.62 W/m, which is of maximum 53% and 28% than U tube GHE, respectively, for the same pipe wall thickness and different material volumes of U-tube, spiral, and slinky GHEs. The pressure drop of slinky GHE is also higher (maximum 87% higher than U tube). To balance the heat exchange rate and pressure drop, the thermal performance capability (TPC) was examined. The slinky GHE has the highest thermal performance capability for all the cases. From the energy balance point, the TPC valued a maximum of 1.72 for the same material volume and different pipe wall thickness. The effectiveness was investigated to examine the heat exchange rate with different ground temperatures, and the slinky GHE showed higher effectiveness than spiral and U-tube GHEs. Finally, the thermal performance of slinky horizontal GHE was examined with different trench lengths to investigate the excavation work reduction with reduced trench length. With the decrease in trench length, the heat exchange rate and excavation work also decreased. The heat exchange rate of slinky horizontal GHEs with trench lengths of 1.5 and 1 m remained better than that of spiral and U-tube horizontal GHEs with a trench length of 3.5 m.

Summary:. Tuberculous dactylitis can cause osteomyelitis, which is a rare extrapulmonary manifestation of tuberculosis, often misdiagnosed due to its nonspecific presentation and resemblance to other conditions like neoplasms. A 15-year-old male patient reported to our clinic with a 1-year history of left index finger pain and swelling following a football-related injury. Despite conservative management, the symptoms had progressively worsened over the past few months. Clinical examination revealed deformity and swelling of the middle phalanx, along with induced pain on range of motion. Bacteriological analysis indicated polymorphic nuclear cells and the presence of coagulase-negative Staphylococcus (Staphylococcus hominis). Radiographic evaluation, including x-ray and magnetic resonance imaging, revealed medullary expansion, trabecular thinning, and focal soft tissue swelling. Magnetic resonance imaging displayed extensive soft tissue and bone marrow involvement, raising concerns of a tumor. An open biopsy was performed, yielding unexpected findings of necrotizing and suppurative granulomatous inflammation, strongly suggesting an ongoing infectious process. The subsequent Quantiferon TB Gold Test confirmed tuberculosis infection. Treatment encompassed debridement, synovectomy, and initiation of an antituberculosis regimen. The patient showed significant improvement after treatment. Timely diagnosis and treatment of tuberculous dactylitis are crucial, as highlighted by the patient’s positive response to combined surgical and pharmacological intervention, despite initial diagnostic challenges.

The study assessed the quality of four different edible fats and oils using standard analytical techniques. The presence of potentially toxic elements was determined using atomic absorption spectrometry. This study reveals that edible oils function admirably in terms of physical traits such as moisture content, boiling point, melting point, density, and specific gravity. Some edible fats and oils exceeded the standard limit of moisture, acid value, and peroxide value and these values were found in the range of 0.120–0.760 %, 0.220–2.45 mg KOH/g, and 1.23–21.7 meq/kg respectively. The iodine value for fats showed satisfactory results but for oils observed lower than the standard value varied from 68.2 to 104 g/100 g. The results of saponification value for most of the oils and fats were found satisfactory but others were lower than recommended limits and detected results were in the range of 167–224 mg KOH/g. Trace metals viz. Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Cd, Cu, and Co were measured in all samples and the concentration ranged from 0.070 to 47.0, 0.120–2.44, 0.540–27.1, 0.030–1.87, 0.010–4.63 and 0.060–8.39 ppm for iron, manganese, nickel, lead, copper, and cobalt respectively. The study found high levels of Fe, Mn, Ni, Cu, and Co in edible fats and oils in Bangladesh. No Cd was found, and Pb was not present in over half of the samples, which included the majority of mustard oils. The levels of Fe and Ni were higher than advised, but there was no discernible toxicological danger from Cd or Pb. The results of the health risk assessment indicated that there was no risk to children's health and possible hazards to adults' health.

Careful study of applied sciences and their development requires us to expand the scope of analytical studies. We aim during introducing the current manuscript to rediscover and present Grüss inequality in a new framework. In order to do that, we use the recently generalized proportional fractional integral operator for a certain function with respect to another continuous and strictly increasing function. Furthermore, we prove some new related inequalities using the current fractional integral operator. Some special cases of the presented results will be discussed.

The aim of this work is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the dynamics within an ecosystem characterized by interactions between prey and predators, through a combination of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. The study investigates the impact of two pivotal effects: the “Hide-and-Escape” behavior exhibited by prey and the “Predation Skill Augmentation” strategy adopted by predators. Theoretical analysis identifies three equilibrium points, all of which show positive characteristics. Furthermore, local stability conditions are determined for each of these equilibrium points. The derivation of global stability conditions is also presented, and their validity and importance as local stability conditions for the coexistence point are demonstrated. In addition, Kolmogorov conditions for coexistence and extinction are verified, as well as local bifurcation analysis. For the validity of the results, a numerical simulation of the system using MATLAB is conducted.

Summary:. Obesity is a widespread health concern worldwide, necessitating diverse interventions for effective weight management. Despite prior unsuccessful attempts at weight loss through conventional methods, including dietary restrictions and physical exercises, this case underscores the challenges faced by individuals with morbid obesity. This case report presents the successful outcome of VASER liposuction followed by a 6-month postoperative ketogenic diet regimen in a 35-year-old man with a body mass index (BMI) of 40. The patient, initially weighing 127 kg with a BMI of 40.9 kg/m² and significant fatty deposition primarily on the chest, abdomen, and flanks, underwent tumescent VASER liposuction, removing 5 L of fat. Subsequently, adhering to a modified ketogenic diet plan led to a notable reduction in weight (from 127 kg to 97 kg) and BMI (from 40 to 31.5) over the 6-month follow-up period. Effective pain management postoperatively and improvements in skin retraction and energy levels were observed. The combined approach of VASER liposuction and a ketogenic diet yielded favorable outcomes, including significant weight loss, improved BMI, and enhanced body contouring. Importantly, minimal loose skin was observed despite substantial weight reduction, highlighting the synergistic effects of the intervention. This case highlights the potential synergistic effects of VASER liposuction and a ketogenic diet in addressing obesity, offering a promising approach for weight management in morbid obese individuals. The synergistic effects included enhanced skin tightening, safety, faster recovery, minimal pain, and substantial weight loss.

Ground heat exchanger (GHE) is the most crucial element of a ground source heat pump (GSHP) system for building cooling and heating by the utilization of geothermal energy. Therefore, intending to enhance the performance of GHE, the present study conducts a computational investigation of the thermal performance of modified spiral tube vertical GHEs. Several modifications of uniform-pitched spiral GHE are made to increase its thermal performance. Some modifications are introduced as variable-pitched spiral tube GHE where spiral inlet pipes are densified in the lower part of GHEs by reducing pitch distance. Conversely, in some modifications, the position of the outlet straight pipe is changed. Water is considered as the working fluid and the inlet temperature of the water is maintained fixed at 300.15 K. After extensive analysis, it is evident that, when the outlet pipe is placed outside of the spiral coil, there is a 7.67 % enhancement in the thermal performance than a traditional uniform-pitched spiral tube GHE. However, modifications like variable-pitched spiral tube GHEs are not significant to improve the thermal performance due to the quick saturation of the ground soil temperature around the GHE pipes. To have a balance between heat transfer rate and pressure drop, thermal performance capability (TPC) and coefficient of performance improvement (COPimprvt) criterion were evaluated and it is found that the uniform-pitched spiral tube GHE along with the outlet pipe at the outside of the spiral provides maximum thermal performance with a maximum TPC value of 1.062 and provides the positive value of COPimprvt criterion. The positive values of COPimprvt indicate that the spiral tube GHEs are energy efficient based on heat transfer and pressure drop. Moreover, spiral GHE with high-density polyethylene (HDPE), concrete pile, and sandy clay outperform the other materials for pipe, backfill, and soil, respectively. Specifically, HDPE pipe, concrete backfill, and sandy clay as soil offer around 7 %, 5 %, and 7.8 % higher thermal performance compared to polyethylene, sand silica, and clay, respectively.

A number of thermal devices might benefit from the usage of nanofluids in solar power. In this research, the idea of MHD mixed convective hybrid nanofluids including grapheme oxide (GO) and molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanoparticles with water (H2O) and Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) as base fluids in a perpendicular channel to analyze the heat transfer of the flowing fluid with the help of recent definition of fractional derivatives namely Fractal fractional derivative. The problem is expressed as PDEs with beginning and boundary conditions, and it is analyzed analytically using the Laplace transform method. The velocity, temperature, and concentration measurements are also shown in series for their appropriate Laplace inverse. Delays in parameters like nanoparticle volume sharing rate have a significant influence on these techniques. Skin friction, Nusselt, and Sherwood numbers are computed for the longitudinal channel's left and right walls, and the necessary numerical results are presented in tabular format. As a result, it is discovered that the rate of heat transfer reduces as the volume percentage of nanoparticles and the Fractal time fractional value rise. Furthermore, when comparing nanofluids, water-based (H2O + GO + MoS2) hybrid nanofluids have a greater influence on governed model than (CMC + GO + MoS2)-based hybrid nanofluids.

This study aims to examine the early detection and treatment of conjunctivitis (eye infection) through vaccination and recovery measures, both with and without medication. We develop an immune system-boosting mathematical model and convert it to a fractionally ordered model using the ABC operator. Key properties, such as the uniqueness and boundedness of the model, are investigated using Banach space. To assess the stability of the newly developed SEVIRuRi system and confirm the occurrence of flip bifurcation, we conduct both qualitative and quantitative analyses. We calculate the basic reproductive number, R0, using an advanced approach and analyze its impact across different sub-compartments. Simulations are conducted to observe the real behavior and effects of the conjunctivitis virus, showing that individuals with a strong immune system can recover with or without medication. Finally, we determine the actual state of virus control post-early detection, accounting for treated and untreated individuals due to the robust immune system and precautionary measures.

Abstract Breakthrough multi-response miniature dosimetry/spectrometry of electroneutrons (EN) was made on surface and in-depths of whole-body polyethylene phantom under 10 cm × 10 cm electron beam of 20 MV Varian Clinac 2100C electron medical accelerator commonly applied for prostate treatment. While dosimetry/spectrometry of photoneutrons (PN) has been well characterized for decades, those of ENs lagged behind due to very low EN reaction cross section and lack of sensitive neutron dosimeters/spectrometers meeting neutron dosimetry requirements. Recently, Sohrabi “miniature neutron dosimeter/spectrometer” and “Stripe polycarbonate dosimeter” have broken this barrier and determined seven EN ambient dose equivalent (ENDE) (µSv.Gy–1) responses from electron beam and from albedo ENs including beam thermal (21 ± 2.63), albedo thermal (43 ± 3.70), total thermal (64 ± 6.33), total epithermal (32 ± 3.90), total fast (112.00), total thermal + epithermal (l96 ± 10), and total thermal + epithermal + fast (208 ± 10.23) ENs. Having seven ENDE responses of this study and seven PNDE responses of previous study with the same accelerator obtained at identical conditions by the same principle author provided the opportunity to compare the two sets of responses. The PNDE (µSv.Gy–1) responses have comparatively higher values and 22.60 times at isocenter which provide for the first time breakthrough ENDE responses not yet reported in any studies before worldwide.

Objectives: To evaluate the clinical results of a new trifocal intraocular lens (IOL) with sinusoidal design by comparing with a traditional trifocal IOL. Materials and Methods: A total of 79 patients undergoing uneventful microincisional cataract surgery with bilateral implantation of one of two types of trifocal IOLs, the Acriva Trinova IOL (VSY) or Acrysof IQ PanOptix IOL (Alcon), were enrolled in this prospective study. Visual and refractive outcomes, contrast sensitivity (CS), and defocus curve were assessed at 3 months after surgery. Patient satisfaction and incidence of photic phenomena were also evaluated. Results: The number of patients/eyes were 48/96 in the Trinova group and 31/62 in the PanOptix group. As an enduring subject of study, the Belousov-Zhabotinsky system provides continuous opportunities to unravel the foundational tenets of nonlinear dynamics within intricate systems. In our quest to deepen comprehension of this complex system, we introduce an innovative methodology for addressing the time fractional Belousov-Zhabotinsky system. This novel approach leverages both the Natural Transform Iterative Method (NTIM) and the Optimal Homotopy Asymptotic Method (OHAM), aiming to contribute novel insights and methodologies to the ongoing discourse surrounding this intriguing and influential area of research. We obtained a series solution to test the accuracy of the suggested approach. The proposed technique has the advantage of requiring few calculations while producing high-precision results.
