Abstract Efficient thermal management has become one of the most critical issues of electronics because of the high heat flux generated from highly integrated, miniaturized, and increased power. Here we report highly flexible composites with aligned and overlapping interconnected boron nitride nanosheets (BNNSs) assembled in wrinkle structures. Besides high in-plane thermal conductivity of more than 26.58 W m−1 K−1, such structure rendered enhanced through-plane conduction along with increasing pre-stain. As thermal interface materials (TIMs) of both rigid and flexible devices, the composites revealed an outstanding thermal cooling capability outperforming some commercial TIMs. During a record-long bending process of more than 3000 cycles, the maximum temperature fluctuation of the flexible device with 100%-prestrained composite was only within 0.9 °C, less than one-third of that with commercial thermal pad. Moreover, the composite revealed a superior impermeability for flexible seals. Our results illustrate that the composites could be an ideal candidate for the thermal management of emerging flexible electronics.

Abstract Atomically precise metal nanoclusters (MNCs), as a potential type of photoacoustic (PA) contrast agent, are limited in application due to their low PA conversion efficiency (PACE). Here, with hydrophilic Au25SR18 (SR = thiolate) as model NCs, we present a result that weakly polar solvent induces aggregation, which effectively enhances PA intensity and PACE. The PA intensity and PACE are highly dependent on the degree of aggregation, while the aggregation‐enhanced PA intensity (AEPA) positively correlates to the protected ligands. Such an AEPA phenomenon indicates that aggregation actually accelerates the intramolecular motion of Au NCs, and enlarges the proportion of excited state energy dissipated through vibrational relaxation. This result conflicts with the restriction of intramolecular motion mechanism of aggregation‐induced emission. Further experiments show that the increased energy of AEPA originates from the aggregation inhibiting the intermolecular energy transfer from excited Au NCs to their surrounding medium molecules, including solvent molecule and dissolved oxygen, rather than restricting radiative relaxations. This study develops a new strategy for enhancing the PA intensity of Au NCs, and contributes to a deeper understanding of the origin of the PA signal and the excited state energy dissipation processes for MNCs.

In order to cope with the continuous development of information technology, the data volume of edge devices in the power supply network is increasing rapidly, and the higher requirements for real-time data processing and transmission bandwidth are put forward, the author proposes the research on security protection of multi-source data in smart grid based on edge computing. Established a distribution network safety risk map, calculated and analyzed safety risks through potential functions, and obtained node potential values and key node data; The intelligent grid multi-source heterogeneous data monitoring model based on edge computing can realize the timely perception and real-time response of distribution network faults, shorten the outage time, and improve the power supply reliability and user satisfaction of the distribution network. The results indicate that: Taking a distribution network line in a certain area as an example, the highest potential value is node 9, followed by nodes 10 and 3. This indicates that in order to ensure the reliable operation of the distribution network and avoid power outages, it is necessary to improve the repair capacity, the proportion of old equipment, and the power supply radius exceeding the standard. Conclusion: The effectiveness of potential function in risk assessment of edge computing is verified, which can provide theoretical guidance for distribution network fault diagnosis.

Purpose: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is associated with a greater risk of Alzheimer's disease. Synaptic impairment and protein aggregates have been reported in the brains of T2DM models. Here, we assessed whether neurodegenerative changes in synaptic vesicle 2 A (SV2A), γ-aminobutyric acid type A (GABAA) receptor, amyloid-β, tau and receptor for advanced glycosylation end product (RAGE) can be detected in vivo in T2DM rats. Methods: Positron emission tomography (PET) using [18F]SDM-8 (SV2A), [18F]flumazenil (GABAA receptor), [18F]florbetapir (amyloid-β), [18F]PM-PBB3 (tau), and [18F]FPS-ZM1 (RAGE) was carried out in 12-month-old diabetic Zucker diabetic fatty (ZDF) and SpragueDawley (SD) rats. Immunofluorescence staining, Thioflavin S staining, proteomic profiling and pathway analysis were performed on the brain tissues of ZDF and SD rats. Results: Reduced cortical [18F]SDM-8 uptake and cortical and hippocampal [18F]flumazenil uptake were observed in 12-month-old ZDF rats compared to SD rats. The regional uptake of [18F]florbetapir and [18F]PM-PBB3 was comparable in the brains of 12-month-old ZDF and SD rats. Immunofluorescence staining revealed Thioflavin S-negative, phospho-tau-positive inclusions in the cortex and hypothalamus in the brains of ZDF rats and the absence of amyloid-beta deposits. The level of GABAA receptors was lower in the cortex of ZDF rats than SD rats. Proteomic analysis further demonstrated that, compared with SD rats, synaptic-related proteins and pathways were downregulated in the hippocampus of ZDF rats. Conclusion: These findings provide in vivo evidence for regional reductions in SV2A and GABAA receptor levels in the brains of aged T2DM ZDF rats.
