In the era of artificial intelligence, there has been a rise in novel computing methods due to the increased demand for rapid and effective data processing. It is of great significance to develop memristor devices capable of emulating the computational neural network of the brain, especially in the realm of artificial intelligence applications. In this work, a memristor based on NiAl-layered double hydroxides is presented with excellent electrical performance, including analog resistive conversion characteristics and the effect of multi-level conductivity modulation. In addition, the device's conductance can be continuously adjusted by varying pulse width, interval, and amplitude. The successful replication of synaptic features has been achieved. In order to implement the functions of "NOT," "AND," and "OR," a logic gate is constructed using two synaptic devices. The confirmation of the potential use of synaptic devices in brain-like computing was demonstrated. RNA N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is one of the most common and widespread reversible epigenetic modifications of mRNAs, and m6A has been shown to play a positive role in regulating follicular development. However, the role of RNA m6A methylation in chicken ovaries and egg production has not been fully studied. In this study, we comprehensively analyzed the m6A transcriptome profiles of high- and low-yield Gushi chickens at 43 weeks of age (43 w). We found that m6A modification differed between the two groups. The m6A peak was positively correlated with the gene expression level, indicating that m6A may play an important role in regulating chicken egg production. In total, 9008 and 15,415 m6A peaks were separately identified in the two groups, including 2241 differential m6A peaks. In addition, seven candidate genes related to egg laying that were significantly enriched in the KEGG pathway related to ovary development and egg laying were identified. In summary, we constructed the first m6A modification map of ovarian tissue of Gushi chickens, and the differences in egg laying in 43 w Gushi chickens may originate from the effect of RNA methylation on the expression of egg-related genes. Software-defined radio (SDR) has high flexibility and low cost. It conforms to the miniaturization, lightweight, and digitization trends in through-wall radar systems. Stepped frequency continuous waveform (SFCW) is commonly used in through-wall radar, which has high resolution and strong anti-interference ability. This article develops an SFCW through-wall radar system based on a dual-channel SDR platform. Without changing hardware structure and complicated accessories, a phase compensation method of solving the phase incoherence problem in a low-cost dual-channel SDR platform is proposed. In addition, this article proposes a wall clutter mitigation approach by means of singular value decomposition (SVD) and principal component analysis (PCA) framework for through-wall applications. This approach can process the wall clutter and noise efficiently, and then extract the target subspace to obtain location information. The experimental results indicate that the proposed windowing-based SVD-PCA approach is effective for the developed radar system, which can ensure the accuracy of through-wall detection. Simple Summary: Global warming, with its associated rising water temperatures and fluctuating salinity, poses a significant threat to global aquaculture, particularly for cold-water species like rainbow trout. Improving the tolerance of aquatic species to temperature is therefore essential. This study aims to investigate the molecular response mechanism of the new rainbow trout strain "Shuike No. 1" (SK) under the dual stress of temperature and salinity. Our data showed that the influence of high temperature on SK is greater than that of salinity, and the two have an obvious synergistic effect. Our findings provide valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underpinning dual stress responses in SK, informing future breeding programs for enhanced resilience in the face of climate change. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying stress responses is crucial for developing resilient strains. This study investigates the dual stress of salinity and temperature response of "Shuike No. 1" (SK), a pioneering commercially bred rainbow trout strain in China, using RNA-sequencing of gill, intestine, and liver tissues from fish exposed to four treatment combinations: freshwater at 16 °C, freshwater at 25 °C, saltwater (30‰) at 16 °C, and saltwater at 25 °C. Differential gene expression analysis identified a substantial number of DEGs, with the liver showing the most pronounced response and a clear synergistic effect observed under combined high-temperature and salinity stress. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) revealed stress-responsive gene modules and identified hub genes, primarily associated with gene expression, endoplasmic reticulum (ER) function, disease immunity, energy metabolism, and substance transport. Key hub genes included klf9, fkbp5a, fkbp5b, ef2, cirbp, atp1b1, atp1b2, foxi3b, smoc1, and arf1. Functional enrichment analysis confirmed the prominent role of ER stress, particularly the pathway "protein processing in the endoplasmic reticulum." Our results reveal complex, tissue-specific responses to dual stress, with high temperature exerting a stronger influence than salinity. These findings provide valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underpinning dual stress responses in SK, informing future breeding programs for enhanced resilience in the face of climate change. Groundwater plays a crucial role in the formation of the Badain Jaran Desert-Sand Dune Lake System, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2024. However, the region's wetland ecosystem is significantly impacted by climate change and human activities. This study utilizes GRACE satellite data and in situ observation data to establish a groundwater storage anomaly (GWSA) time series for the Badain Jaran Desert and its surrounding areas (BJDCA) from 2003 to 2022. The analysis reveals the spatiotemporal patterns of groundwater drought and sustainability, as well as the underlying factors affecting regional groundwater sustainability. The results indicate that 99.2% of the study area exhibited a significant decline in GWSA (α ≤ 0.01), with the annual mean GRACE Groundwater Drought Index (GGDI) dropping from 1.44 to −1.54, reflecting a worsening groundwater drought. In 2022, the GGDI in the southeastern part of the BJDCA reached as low as −3.04, highlighting severe groundwater stress. Furthermore, the Sustainability Index (SI) of the study area declined markedly from 1.00 to 0.01, underscoring the critical impact of human activities on groundwater resources in the BJDCA. There are issues such as poor layered smoothness, model distortion, and error accumulation in the process of large-scale weak feature point cloud stitching and registration. This paper proposes a precise point cloud registration method based on distance statistical distribution. By summarizing and statistically analyzing the distance thresholds during the iterative process, it accurately determines the closest points for point cloud registration, thus avoiding the problem of low registration accuracy caused by manually setting distance thresholds. By statistically analyzing the distance intervals of corresponding points in the point cloud to eliminate erroneous correspondences and utilizing pose graph optimization for global pose, this method ensures the smoothness and accuracy of point cloud registration. Experiments have validated the effectiveness of this method. Excessive abdominal fat deposition in chickens disadvantages feed conversion, meat production, and reproductive performance. Intramuscular fat contributes to meat texture, tenderness, and flavor, serving as a vital indicator of overall meat quality. Therefore, a comprehensive analysis of the regulatory mechanisms governing differential deposition of abdominal versus intramuscular fat is essential in breeding higher-quality chickens with ideal fat distribution. This review systematically summarizes the regulatory mechanisms underlying intramuscular and abdominal fat traits at chromatin, genomic, transcriptional, post-transcriptional, translational, and epigenetic-modification scales. Additionally, we summarize the role of non-coding RNAs and protein-coding genes in governing intramuscular and abdominal fat deposition. Objective： To investigate the value of the fibrinogen-to-albumin ratio (FAR) combined with platelet count in predicting thromboembolic complications during venous-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(VA-ECMO). Methods： Clinical data from 130 patients who received VA-ECMO therapy in the Intensive Care Unit of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from 2020 to 2023 were retrospectively collected. Logistic regression analysis was used to identify risk factors for thromboembolic complications. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves and area under the curve (AUC) were used to evaluate the predictive ability of FAR combined with platelet count for thromboembolic complications. Results： A total of 130 patients were included, of which 87 were male and 43 were female, with an age of (52.2±15.3) years. All patients received VA-ECMO treatment. Thirty-three patients developed thromboembolic complications. Compared to patients without thromboembolic complications, those who developed complications had higher fibrinogen and FAR levels on Day 1 of VA-ECMO (P＜0.05) and lower platelet count and albumin levels after VA-ECMO initiation, and on Days 1 and 3 (P＜0.05). According to multivariate logistic regression, FAR on Day 1 was independently associated with thromboembolic complications (P＜0.05), with an AUC of 0.690 (95%CI:0.569-0.810).Platelet count on Day 1 was also independently associated with thromboembolic complications (P＜0.05), with an AUC of 0.664 (95%CI:0.558-0.771). The combined prediction of thromboembolic complications using both FAR and platelet count resulted in the highest predictive value, with an AUC of 0.794 (95%CI:0.703-0.885).Conclusion： The combination of FAR and platelet count on Day 1 of VA-ECMO can be used to predict the occurrence of thromboembolic complications during VA-ECMO support.

The PIWI-interacting RNA (piRNA) pathway plays a crucial role in protecting animal germ cells by repressing transposons. However, the mechanism of piRNA-guided heterochromatin formation and its relationship to transcriptional termination remains elusive. Through RNA interference screening, we discovered Pcf11 and PNUTS as essential for piRNA-guided silencing in Drosophila germ line. Enforced tethering of Pcf11 leads to co-transcriptional repression and RNA polymerase II (RNA Pol II) stalling, and both are dependent on an α-helical region of Pcf11 capable of forming condensates. An intrinsically disordered region can substitute for the α-helical region of Pcf11 in its silencing capacity and support animal development, arguing for a causal relationship between phase separation and Pcf11's function. Pcf11 stalls RNA Pol II by preferentially forming condensates with the unphosphorylated Spt5, promoted by the PP1/PNUTS phosphatase during termination. Photoacoustic microscopy has demonstrated outstanding performance in high-resolution functional imaging. However, in the process of photoacoustic imaging, the photoacoustic signals will be polluted by inevitable background noise. Besides, the image quality is compromised due to the biosafety limitation of the laser. The conventional approach to improving image quality, such as increasing laser pulse energy or multiple-times averaging, could result in more health risks and motion artifacts for high exposures to the laser. To overcome this challenge of biosafety and compromised image quality, we propose a reference-inputted convolutional neural network (Ri-Net). The network is trained using the photoacoustic signal and noise datasets from phantom experiments. Evaluation of the trained neural network demonstrates significant signal improvement. Human cuticle microvasculature imaging experiments are also conducted to further assess the performance and practicality of our network. The quantitative results show that we achieved a 2.6-fold improvement in image contrast and a 9.6 dB increase in signal-to-noise ratio. Finally, we apply our network, trained on single-wavelength data, to multi-wavelength functional imaging. The functional imaging of the mouse ear demonstrates the robustness of our method and the potential to capture the oxygen saturation of microvasculature. The Ri-Net enhances photoacoustic microscopy imaging, allowing for more efficient microcirculation assessments in a clinical setting.
