P-type Fe3CoSb12-based skutterudite thin films are successfully fabricated, exhibiting high thermoelectric performance, stability, and flexibility at medium-to-high temperatures, based on preparing custom target materials and employing advanced pulsed laser deposition techniques to address the bonding challenge between the thin films and high-temperature flexible polyimide substrates. Through the optimization of fabrication processing and nominal doping concentration of Ce, the thin films show a power factor of >100 μW m−1 K−2 and a ZT close to 0.6 at 653 K. After >2000 bending cycle tests at a radius of 4 mm, only a 6 % change in resistivity can be observed. Additionally, the assembled p-type Fe3CoSb12-based flexible device exhibits a power density of 135.7 µW cm−2 under a temperature difference of 100 K with the hot side at 623 K. This work fills a gap in the realization of flexible thermoelectric devices in the medium-to-high-temperature range and holds significant practical application value. The propagation of hydraulic fractures is highly influenced by the geological structure of the reservoir in unconventional reservoirs, such as natural fractures. In this paper, a new fluid–solid coupling dynamic model was built which presents the failure mechanism of hydraulic fracture with pre-existing simple and complex natural fractures. The cohesive element method and the maximum principal stress fracture criterion were used in the new model. An analysis was conducted to investigate the impact of various factors, including encounter angle, in situ stress, elastic modulus, and Poisson's ratio, on the propagation of hydraulic fractures. The simulation results indicate that the encounter angle and the in situ stress are the main factors affecting the fracture morphology. When the encounter angle and the in situ stress difference are small, hydraulic fractures propagate along natural fractures. When the elastic modulus is small, it is advantageous for the advancement of both hydraulic and natural fractures. The Poisson's ratio has a slight effect on the fracture propagation pattern. K-doped MoVTeNbOx were prepared rapidly and simply by spray drying method and applied to catalyze the selective oxidation of propane to acrylic acid. Results show that doping of K could affect the relative content of M1 and M2 phases in MoVTeNbOx. The as-prepared K-doped MoVTeNbOx exhibited a unique spherical structure agglomerated by needle particles. These needles shaped particles interlaced and stacked with each other to form a mesoporous structure with an average pore size range of 27.26 to 50.78 nm. Moreover, compared with undoped catalysts, doping of K increased the surface V5+ active sites content of the MoVTeNbOx from 60 to 75%. For the conversion of propane to acrylic acid, an appropriate amount of M2 increased the conversion of propane. The selectivity of K-doped MoVTeNbOx catalyst for acrylic acid was significantly improved, possibly due to the distinct reduction in the number of medium acid sites caused by the introduction of K. Furthermore, the special mesoporous structure formed boosted the adsorption and activation of the catalyst for propane and the diffusion of product, which is important to improve the catalytic performance of MoVTeNbOx.
