This study aimed to explore physicians' and pharmacists' knowledge, attitudes, and practice (KAP) regarding the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular toxicity associated with cancer treatment. A multicenter cross-sectional study included physicians and pharmacists between April 2023 and June 2023. The study included 918 participants (514 physicians and 404 pharmacists). The average scores of knowledge, attitudes, and practice were 11.6 ± 3.39, 24.7 ± 2.6, and 26.3 ± 6.8 points. Sufficient knowledge was significantly associated with age ≥ 41 years (odds ratio (OR) = 2.745, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.086–6.941, P = 0.033), male (OR = 2.745, 95% CI 1.150–2.223, P = 0.005), bachelor's degree (OR = 0.084, 95% CI 0.013–0.533, P = 0.009), master's degree and above (OR = 0.096, 95% CI 0.015–0.609, P = 0.013), physician occupation (OR = 7.601, 95% CI 1.337–43.207, P = 0.022), pharmacy department (OR = 18.858, 95% CI 3.245–109.57, P = 0.001), oncology department (OR = 4.304, 95% CI 2.426–7.634, P < 0.001), cardiology department (OR = 3.001, 95% CI 1.387–6.492, P = 0.005), hospitals located in Eastern China (OR = 1.957, 95% CI 1.120–3.418, P = 0.018), and hospitals located in Western China (OR = 3.137, 95% CI 1.783–5.518, P < 0.001). Positive attitudes were significantly associated with a senior professional title (OR = 2.989, 95% CI 1.124–7.954, P = 0.028) and hospitals located in Eastern China (OR = 0.424, 95% CI 0.257–0.698, P = 0.001), Western China (OR = 0.231, 95% CI 0.136–0.394, P < 0.001), and Southern China (OR = 0.341, 95% CI 0.198–0.587, P < 0.001). Proactive practice was significantly associated with male (OR = 1.414, 95% CI 1.029–1.943, P = 0.033), senior professional title (OR = 3.838, 95% CI 1.176–12.524, P = 0.026), oncology department (OR = 3.827, 95% CI 2.336–6.272, P < 0.001), and cardiology department (OR = 2.428, 95% CI 1.263–4.669, P = 0.008). Both physicians and pharmacists had positive attitudes toward the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular toxicity associated with cancer treatment, while their knowledge and practice were not as proactive. Background: In the 21st century, dental caries remains a global burden, particularly severely affecting the growth and quality of life of 12-year-old children. Fortunately, pit and fissure sealing (PFS) procedures can effectively prevent molars from caries. Hence, this study focused on the relationship between PFS and oral epidemiological factors in 12-year-old children. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted in 12-year-old children from 11 cities in Zhejiang Province. Their dental conditions were collected through questionnaires, as well as basic information such as relevant family information, oral health knowledge and behavior. Then, logistic regression analysis was used to identify the influencing factors associated with PFS. Results: A total of 1204 children were included, with 252 in the PFS group and 952 in the non-PFS group. There were significant differences between the two groups in terms of decayed, missing and filled teeth (DMFT) score, first permanent molar DMFT score, residential area, educational level of parents, tooth-brushing frequency, use of dental floss, oral examination in a medical institution, having taken courses on oral health care, as well as having knowledge that tooth brushing could effectively prevent gingival inflammation, PFS could protect teeth, and oral disease may affect general health. According to further logistic regression analysis, the independent factors influencing PFS included use of dental floss [odds ratios (OR) = 1.672, 95% confidence intervals (CI) = 1.235–2.263, P = 0.001], having taken courses on oral health care (OR = 0.713, 95% CI = 0.515–0.988, P = 0.042), having knowledge that tooth brushing is effective in preventing gingival inflammation (OR = 0.627, 95% CI = 0.389–0.987, P = 0.044) and having knowledge that PFS can protect teeth (OR = 0.589, 95% CI = 0.438–0.791, P < 0.001). Conclusion: PFS can reduce the mean DMFT score of 12-year-old children. Black carbon in snow (BCS) is a crucial parameter in Earth System modeling, as it influences global radiative balance. Here, simulated BCS from Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 and 6 (CMIP5 and CMIP6) that provided BCS as a model output were evaluated. In comparison with global BCS observations, CMIP5/6 models successfully reproduced long‐term historical trends linked to human activities, but struggled capturing decadal variability caused by natural climate variability. CMIP6 models NorESM2‐MM, NorESM2‐LM, and TaiESM1 yielded the most accurate simulations of BCS concentration with modest overestimation of <50%, while the four CESM2 models underestimated concentrations by up to ∼80%. These errors effectively balanced for the CMIP6 multi‐model ensemble mean (MME), which had a relative error (RE) of −37%. However, the CMIP5 MME was less reliable due to extreme overestimation by up to 8,000% in the three MIROC models. The significant BCS concentration errors in the MIROC and CESM2 models were linked mainly to errors in handling of BC in snow processes. Conversely, marked improvements in NorESM, the only common to both CMIP5 and CMIP6, were due to improved simulation of black carbon deposition. BCS errors significantly impacted radiative forcing estimates, particularly at the poles, where model errors reached several thousandfold. CMIP6 exhibited superior results compared to CMIP5, achieving global MME RE of −33% in radiative forcing estimates. However, it's worth noting BCS output is currently limited, with only seven models available for each of CMIP5 and CMIP6 here. Additional models simulating BCS are desirable in the next CMIP generations. However, model performance in BCS simulation remains unclear in the widely used Coupled Model Intercomparison Project phases 5 and 6 (CMIP5/6). In this study, CMIP5 and CMIP6 models providing BCS information were evaluated against a global data set of BCS observations from ice cores and snow samples. Results indicate that both CMIP generations successfully reproduce long‐term trends in BCS but fail to capture the decadal variability. Marked differences exist in modeled BCS concentrations, with the best‐performing models (NorESM2‐LM, NorESM2‐MM, and TaiESM1) overestimating concentrations by <50%, while the three worst‐performing MIROC models yield extreme overestimation. Such discrepancies stem primarily from the post‐depositional treatment of black carbon in snow, which influences the estimation of climate‐warming effects of BCS. Background: Injury to the spinal cord of children may cause potential brain reorganizations, affecting their rehabilitation. However, the specific functional alterations of children after complete spinal cord injury (CSCI) remain unclear. Purpose: To explore the specific functional changes in local brain and the relationship with clinical characteristics in pediatric CSCI patients, clarifying the impact of CSCI on brain function in developing children. Study Type: Prospective. Subjects: Thirty pediatric CSCI patients (7.83 ± 1.206 years) and 30 age‐, gender‐matched healthy children as controls (HCs) (8.77 ± 2.079 years). Field Strength/Sequence: 3.0 T/Resting‐state functional MRI (rs‐fMRI) using echo‐planar‐imaging (EPI) sequence. Assessment: Amplitude of low‐frequency fluctuation (ALFF), fractional ALFF (fALFF), and regional homogeneity (ReHo) were used to characterize regional neural function. Statistical Tests: Two‐sample t‐tests were used to compare the ALFF, fALFF, ReHo values of the brain between pediatric CSCI and HCs (voxel‐level FWE correction, P < 0.05). Spearman correlation analyses were performed to analyze the associations between the ALFF, fALFF, ReHo values in altered regions and the injury duration, sensory motor scores of pediatric CSCI patients (P < 0.05). Then receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis was conducted to identify possible sensitive imaging indicators for clinical therapy. Results: Compared with HCs, pediatric CSCI showed significantly decreased ALFF in the right postcentral gyrus (S1), orbitofrontal cortex, and left superior temporal gyrus (STG), increased ALFF in bilateral caudate nucleus, thalamus, middle cingulate gyrus, and cerebellar lobules IV‐VI, and increased ReHo in left cerebellum Crus II and Brodmann area 21. The ALFF value in the right S1 negatively correlated with the pinprick and light touch sensory scores of pediatric CSCI. When the left STG was used as an imaging biomarker for pediatric CSCI, it achieved the highest area under the curve of 0.989. Conclusions: These findings may provide potential neural mechanisms for sensory motor and cognitive‐emotional deficits in children after CSCI. The type of matrix resin of the semi‐conductive shielding layer directly affects the thermal aging characteristics of the semi‐conductive shielding layer and the high‐voltage cable. In this paper, ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), ethylene ethyl acrylate (EEA), and ethylene butyl acrylate (EBA) resins were used as matrix to prepare carbon black (CB) + EVA, CB + EEA, and CB + EBA shielding materials. The law of physicochemical, electrical, and mechanical properties of different matrix resin shielding materials with aging time was studied, and the influence mechanism of matrix resin on the aging characteristics of shielding materials was analyzed. The results show: with the increase of aging time, the crystallization area and the number of functional groups of the three shielding materials decreased to varying degrees. The number of functional groups in CB + EBA shielding materials decreased evenly with aging time, but that of CB + EVA and CB + EEA shielding materials changed significantly after 7 days of aging. After 60 days of aging, the crystallization area of CB + EBA shielding material changed slightly, but that of CB + EVA and CB + EEA shielding material decrease significantly. The electrical properties of the three shielding materials showed different decreasing trend with aging time. When the aging time is 7 days, the positive temperature coefficient (PTC) effect of CB + EEA shielding material decreases obviously. When the aging time is 30 days, the resistivity of CB + EVA and CB + EEA shielding material increases slowly (9 Ω cm–12 Ω cm) with the increase of temperature. When the aging time is 60 days, the resistivity of CB + EBA shielding material decreases obviously, and the PTC effect weakens obviously. Taking the mechanical properties of the shielding material as reference, the rapid deterioration stage of the mechanical properties of the three shielding materials is different. The CB + EVA and CB + EEA shielding material rapid deterioration time is 0–7 days, and the tensile strength and elongation of the shielding material are greatly reduced. The rapid deterioration stage of CB + EBA shielding material is 7–30 days, and the tensile strength and elongation decrease from 24.38 MPa and 499.5% to 14 MPa and 155.7%, respectively. Polypropylene (PP) becomes a superior candidate material for new environmentally friendly cable main insulation with its excellent heat resistance, electrical properties, and degradability. However, in practical application, PP material is aging and vulnerable and its toughness is poor. The mechanical properties of PP material can be improved by elastomer modification, but the effects of different elastomers on the comprehensive properties of composite specimens are quite different. In this paper, the electrical and mechanical properties of different types of elastomer‐modified PP composites are compared and analyzed by combining experimental and molecular simulation (MS) methods. The experimental results show that the SEBS/PP composite material has the lowest trap energy levels among all kinds of composite materials, its space charge accumulation is 1.96 × 10−9C, and the mechanical and rheological properties improvement of the composite is the most remarkable. Meanwhile, the volume resistivity is reduced by two orders of magnitude compared with pure PP. However, the breakdown strength of all kinds of composite materials decreases by different degrees after the modification. The solubility parameters (δ) and the free volume are further investigated by the molecular simulation, which shows that the δ of SEBS is similar to that of PP, which represents the best compatibility. Moreover, the SEBS/PP composite material has the strongest inter‐molecular force and the most excellent toughness improvement for PP. The extensive snow cover across the Tibetan Plateau (TP) regions has a major influence on the climate and water supply for over one billion downstream inhabitants. However, an adequate evaluation of snow cover fraction (SCF) variability over the TP simulated by global multiple reanalysis datasets has yet to be undertaken. In this study, we examined eight global reanalysis SCF datasets using the Snow Property Inversion from Remote Sensing (SPIReS) product spanning the period 2001–2020. The results reveal that the HMASR generated the best SCF simulations because of its outstanding spatial and temporal accuracy. The GLDAS and CFSR demonstrated acceptable SCF accuracy with respect to spatial variability, but struggled to reproduce the annual trend. Pronounced SCF overestimations were found when using the ERA5, ERA5L, and JRA55, but SCF was underestimated by MERRA2, and CRAL generated poor spatial pattern. Overall biases were related to the combined effect of precipitation forcing, temperature forcing, snow data assimilation, and SCF parameterization methods, with the dominant factor changing across datasets. In ERA5 and ERA5L, temperature and snowfall bias exhibited significant correlations with SCF bias over most TP areas, therefore having a greater impact on the accuracy of SCF in terms of spatial variability and temporal evolution. On the other hand, the impact of snow assimilation was possibly more pronounced in MERRA2 and CRAL. Although parameterization methods can improve SCF simulation accuracy, their influence was weaker than those of other factors, except for JRA55. To further improve the accuracy of SCF simulation, an ensemble average method was developed. The ensemble based on HMASR and GLDAS generated the most accurate SCF spatial distribution, whereas the ensemble containing ERA5L, CFSR, CRAL, GLDAS, ERA5, and MERRA2 proved optimal for capturing the annual trend. Semiconductive shielding layer as an important part of high‐voltage cable, its performance directly affects the safe operation and the service life of the cable. Carbon black (CB) is the main conductive filler of shielding materials, and its type and concentration directly affect the performance of the shielding layer. In this paper, CB‐A with higher structure and CB‐B with lower structure were used as conductive fillers and EBA was chosen as the matrix resin to prepare the shielding materials. The CB concentrations of the shielding materials were 35, 45, and 55 phr. The influences of CB type and concentration on the physicochemical, electrical, thermal and mechanical properties of the shielding materials were investigated. The research shows that when the CB types are the same, the higher the concentration of CB, the more intensive the CB network in the shielding material, and the more serious the CB agglomeration phenomenon. With increasing CB concentration, shielding materials show a decreasing trend of volume resistivity, an increasing trend of thermal conductivity, and a decreasing trend of mechanical properties. When the CB concentration is the equal, the CB‐A has better dispersion in the matrix resin, CB‐A/EBA shielding material has lower volume resistivity and weaker PTC effect, CB‐A/EBA shielding material has higher thermal conductivity at low temperature and CB‐B/EBA shielding material has higher thermal conductivity at high temperature, CB‐A/EBA shielding material has better mechanical properties. A comprehensive comparison shows that CB‐A/EBA shielding material with a concentration of 45 phr has excellent overall performance, with volume resistivity of 15.3 and 68 Ω·cm at 25°C and 90°C, respectively. The thermal conductivity is 0.434 W/(m K) at room temperature and 0.536 W/(m K) at 90°C. The stress is 31.08 MPa and the strain is 570.2%. Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease that can result in the irreversible loss of tooth-supporting tissues and elevate the likelihood and intensity of systemic diseases. The presence of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and associated related oxidative stress is intricately linked to the progression and severity of periodontal inflammation. Targeted removal of local ROS may serve to attenuate inflammation, improve the unfavorable periodontal microenvironment and potentially reverse ensuing pathological cascades. These ROS scavenging nanoparticles, which possess additional characteristics such as anti-inflammation and osteogenic differentiation, are highly sought after for the treatment of periodontitis. In this study, negative charged human serum albumin-crosslinked manganese-doped self-assembling Prussian blue nanoparticles (HSA-MDSPB NPs) were fabricated. These nanoparticles demonstrate the ability to scavenge multiple ROS including superoxide anion, free hydroxyl radicals, singlet oxygen and hydrogen peroxide. Additionally, HSA-MDSPB NPs exhibit the capacity to alleviate inflammation in gingiva and alveolar bone both in vitro and in vivo . Furthermore, HSA-MDSPB NPs have been shown to play a role in promoting the polarization of macrophages from the M1 to M2 phenotype, resulting in reduced production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. More attractively, HSA-MDSPB NPs have been demonstrated to enhance cellular osteogenic differentiation. These properties of HSA-MDSPB NPs contribute to decreased inflammation, extracellular matrix degradation and bone loss in periodontal tissue. Contrastive unsupervised representation learning (CURL) is a technique that seeks to learn feature sets from unlabeled data. It has found widespread and successful application in unsupervised feature learning, with the design of positive and negative pairs serving as the type of data samples. While CURL has seen empirical successes in recent years, there is still room for improvement in terms of the pair data generation process. This includes tasks such as combining and re-filtering samples, or implementing transformations among positive/negative pairs. We refer to this as the sample selection process. In this article, we introduce an optimized pair-data sample selection method for CURL. This method efficiently ensures that the two types of sampled data (similar pair and dissimilar pair) do not belong to the same class. We provide a theoretical analysis to demonstrate why our proposed method enhances learning performance by analyzing its error probability. Furthermore, we extend our proof into PAC-Bayes generalization to illustrate how our method tightens the bounds provided in previous literature. Our numerical experiments on text/image datasets show that our method achieves competitive accuracy with good generalization bounds.

The primary pathology of periodontitis involves the gradual deterioration of periodontal tissues resulting from the inflammatory reaction triggered by bacterial infection. In this study, a novel drug for periodontal pocket injection, known as the Shed-Cu-HA hydrogel, was developed by incorporating copper ions (Cu 2+ ) and Shed-derived exosomes (Shed-exo) inside the hyaluronic acid (HA) hydrogel. Suitable concentrations of Cu 2+ and Shed-exo released from Shed-Cu-HA enhanced cell viability and cell proliferation of human periodontal ligament stem cells. Additionally, the Shed-Cu-HA demonstrated remarkable antibacterial effects against the key periodontal pathogen (Aa) owing to the synergistic effect of Cu 2+ and HA. Furthermore, the material effectively suppressed macrophage inflammatory response via the IL-6/JAK2/STAT3 pathway. Moreover, the Shed-Cu-HA, combining the inflammation-regulating properties of HA with the synergistic osteogenic activity of Shed-exo and Cu 2+ , effectively upregulated the expression of genes and proteins associated with osteogenic differentiation. The experimental findings from a mouse periodontitis model demonstrated that the administration of Shed-Cu-HA effectively reduced the extent of inflammatory cell infiltration and bacterial infections in gingival tissues and facilitated the regeneration of periodontal bone tissues and collagen after 2 and 4 weeks of injection. Consequently, it holds significant prospects for future applications in periodontitis treatment.

Objective: To explore the clinical study of glutamine combined with early enteral nutrition support on the nutritional status of gastric cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy., Methods: Divided into control and observation groups, a control group received routine enteral nutrition, while the observation group received an additional 0.5 g/kg/d of glutamine. The researchers measured nutritional indicators, immunoglobulins, T lymphocyte subsets, and stress indexes such as fasting blood sugar and C-reactive protein throughout the study., Results: Before nutritional support, there was no significant difference in the HGB, TP, and ALB levels. During nutritional support, however, the observation group began registering significantly higher levels of HGB, TP, and ALB, suggesting that glutamine intervention can improve the nutritional status of patients. Throughout the study, the CD4+ level showed a consistent increase in the observation group. The levels of IgA and IgG in the observation group also grew significantly higher. Both groups had higher blood glucose levels before nutritional support. However, on day 8 and day 15, the levels decreased. The observation group had significantly lower fasting blood glucose (FBG) levels than the control group. By day 15, the FBG levels in the observation group were close to normal. The CRP level showed a consistent decrease in the observation group compared to the control group on day 8 and day 15. Glutamine intervention appears to improve the stress capacity of gastric cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Overall, the findings suggest that glutamine intervention in enteral nutrition can significantly improve immune function, nutritional status, and stress capacity in gastric cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy and appears to be more effective than conventional enteral nutrition., Conclusion: The combination of glutamine and early enteral nutrition support can significantly improve gastric cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy's nutritional status and immune function levels. It is a safe and reliable enteral nutrition support method worthy of clinical promotion.

Multicomponent oxides are intriguing materials in heterogeneous catalysis, and the interface between various components often plays an essential role in oxidations. However, the underlying principles of how the hetero-interface affects the catalytic process remain largely unexplored. Here we report a unique structure design of MnCoO x catalysts by chemical reduction, specifically for ethane oxidation. Part of the Mn ions incorporates with Co oxides to form spinel Mn x Co 3-x O 4 , while the rests stay as MnO 2 domains to create the MnO 2 -Mn x Co 3-x O 4 interface. MnCoO x with Mn/Co ratio of 0.5 exhibits an excellent activity and stability up to 1000 h under humid conditions. The synergistic effects between MnO 2 and Mn x Co 3-x O 4 are elucidated, in which the C 2 H 6 tends to be adsorbed on the interfacial Co sites and subsequently break the C-H bonds on the reactive lattice O of MnO 2 layer.
