In order to improve the quality of people 's travel and improve the performance of travel insulation cup, the thermal deformation behavior of 304 stainless steel, the edible grade material of travel insulation cup, was studied by Gleeble-3800 thermal / mechanical simulation machine. The true stress-strain curve of 304 stainless steel was obtained by hot compression test with deformation temperature of 800~1 100 °C and strain rate range of 0,001 ~ 1 s-1. According to the real stress-strain curve, the Arrhenius constitutive model of 304 stainless steel was constructed. The results show that the flow stress of 304 stainless steel increases with the increase of deformation temperature and strain rate. The theoretical stress value predicted by the constitutive model is fitted with the experimental results, and the correlation is 0,995, indicating that the model has high prediction accuracy. 1. A study used gene synthesis to obtain the functional domains of chicken epidermal growth factor (cEGF) and examined their impact on broiler growth performance, small intestinal morphology, digestive enzyme activities in the intestinal contents and the structure of duodenal microflora. 2. The pET-32a-cEGF recombinant expression vector was constructed. The specific band at 26 KDa was shown by SDS-PAGE analysis and WB results. The purified protein content was shown to be 1687 μg/ml by assay. 3. A total of 180 healthy, one-day-old Arbor Acres male, white-feathered broilers were randomly divided into three dietary treatment groups (six replicate pens, 10 birds per replicate): A control diet (ND); cEGF diet (cEGF), control supplemented with 250 mg/kg cEGF and the control diet (CD) supplemented with 250 mg/kg chlortetracycline. 4. The results showed that feeding the cEGF and CD diet reduced FCR of broilers aged 1–21 d, average daily feed intake (ADFI) at 22–42 d, and the FCR in the whole period (1–42 d; p < 0.05). Compared with the ND group, the cEGF diet increased duodenal α-amylase and alkaline phosphatase activities in the 1–21 d, duodenal lipase, alkaline phosphatase, and ileal alkaline phosphatase activities in the post-period and increased villus height in the duodenum and ileum (p < 0.05). In addition, the ACE and Chao1 index for the birds fed cEGF were higher than the ND group (p < 0.05). At the phyla level, Firmicutes and Proteobacteria were dominant in all groups. At the genus level, the dominant genus was Lactobacillus. The LEfSe analysis showed that the cEGF group was enriched by 11 species including Brevibacillus, Eisenbergiella, Cloacibacterium, Butyricoccus spp. 5. The addition of 250 mg/kg cEGF to the diet can increase growth performance by improving intestinal development and digestive enzyme activity, which may be related to the duodenal intestinal microflora. Herein, a mechanochemical approach was developed for recover the cobalt and from spent lithium-ion batteries using a high-concentration chloride solution. Effect of parameters on the leaching efficiency of cobalt was studied. 97, 6% of Co was recovered under optimum conditions: rotation speed 500 r/min, S/L ratio: 1:150 g/ml, ball/material ratio 25:1 g/g, milling time 30 min, respectively. The dissolved cobalt was recovered by selective precipitation method to ensure that the recycled Co can be reused for lithium-ion battery production. Background: Pulmonary Aspergillus has a high incidence and mortality rate, but is difficult to be diagnosed. It is mainly caused by Aspergillus fumigatus. Pulmonary Aspergillus caused by Aspergillus oryzae is rare. This case reports an 8-year-old male patient with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) who was found to have pulmonary Aspergillus oryzae infection by NGS of alveolar lavage fluid. Case Summary: The patient had ALL and received induction remission chemotherapy. During chemotherapy, the patient developed severe agranulocytosis and severe pneumonia. The treatment was performed accordingly. The second-generation sequencing of alveolar lavage fluid identified the pathogen as Aspergillus oryzae. After combined antifungal treatment with caspofungin and voriconazole, pneumonia was absorbed and improved. One week later, spontaneous fluid pneumothorax accompanied by massive hemoptysis occurred, and the patient received rescue therapy, which was successful. Finally, the patient recovered after pulmonary lobectomy and purulent moss stripping. Conclusion: Early diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary Aspergillosis are very important. Aspergillus oryzae infection has only rarely been reported in humans. Second-generation sequencing of alveolar lavage fluid is an accurate and effective detection method to assist diagnosis of microorganism infection. The surface optical (SO) phonon replica in photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy of nitride nanowires (NWs) was theoretically investigated in this study. The dispersive relationships of SO phonon mode in anisotropic wurtzite (WZ) and isotropic zinc-blende (ZB) crystal structure NWs with circular and square cross sections (CSs) were derived within the framework of the dielectric continuum model. Based on the energy and momentum conservation laws, a constraint relationship between the frequency and wave-number was constructed for SO phonon-assisted excitonic PL spectra in the NW structure. By combining the dispersive and constraint relationships, the frequency and wave-number of the SO phonon replica in the PL spectra could be determined. The WZ and ZB crystal structures of nitride semiconductor were considered. The influences of surface factors including the CS shape, dielectric medium, and environment temperature on the frequency and photon wavelength of the band-edge emission of the SO phonon replica were studied in detail. Numerical results reveal that the crystal structure, surface factors, and environment temperature greatly affect the frequency and photon wavelength of the band-edge emission of the SO phonon replica. The calculated results for the photon wavelength agree well with the experimental values of the SO phonon replica in AlN NWs. The results of the dielectric effect obtained here are also supported by previous experimental and theoretical results for nitrides and other semiconductor NWs. The effects of strain rate on mechanical properties, microstructural evolution and underlying deformation mechanisms of two kinds of interstitial CrMnFeCoNi high entropy alloys (HEAs), (CrMnFeCoNi) 99.5 C 0.5 and (CrMnFeCoNi) 99.0 C 1.0 , are investigated under quasi-static and dynamic tension. Dynamic loading is carried out via a split Hopkinson tension bar system. The pre- and post-deformation microstructures are characterized with electron back scatter diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. Both yield strength and work hardening increase remarkably with increasing strain rate. Plastic deformation in both alloys under quasi-static and dynamic loading are dominated by dislocations, stacking faults, kink bands and deformation twins. Twinning is activated easier under dynamic loading, and twin density decreases with increasing carbon content due to the increased stacking fault energy. The Khan-Liu constitutive model can describe the experimental results for these two interstitial HEAs in a wide strain range. • Both volume fraction and size of the carbides increase with the increase of C content. • The increase of C content and strain rate lead to the increase in σ Y and σ UT. • Twin density decreases with increasing C content due to the increased SF energy. • The Khan-Liu constitutive model is used to describe the deformation. Different from the extensive experimental investigations into the thermoelectric (TE) properties of the bulk IV–VI compounds, less attention has been paid to the TE properties of the monolayer IV–VI compounds. Here, we consider the TE transport properties including the Seebeck coefficient, electronic conductance, thermal conductance, power factor, and figure of merit Z T of the undoped and Bi-doped GeS monolayers. Our results show that for both the undoped and Bi-doped monolayers the anisotropy is widely observed in all their TE properties, and the maximum Z T at a certain temperature along the armchair direction is much greater than that along the zigzag direction. Moreover, Bi doping can lead to an increase of the maximum Z T , and there are more Z T peaks appearing near the zero chemical potential. This indicates that the Bi-doped GeS monolayer can work as a TE material at a lower bias voltage, and especially along the armchair direction it can work at zero bias voltage, which obviously strengthens the reliability of the TE devices. As the temperature increases, the maximum Z T will be uniformally increased along the armchair and zigzag directions for both the undoped and Bi-doped GeS monolayers. In the temperature scope from 300 to 800 K, the maximum Z T along the armchair direction of the Bi-doped GeS monolayer will increase from 3.39 to 4.85, which indicates that this Bi-doped GeS monolayer is a promising TE material in a wide-temperature zone. As an application, we have designed the GeS-based TE couples and found that their efficiencies can be greater than 27 % at large temperature differences. 1. Intramuscular fat (IMF) is a key parameter for chicken meat quality. IMF deposition is driven by genetic, nutritional and management factors, with genetics being the determining factor. Previous whole transcriptome sequencing revealed that microRNA gga-let-7a-3p was related to lipid metabolism in breast muscle. This study further investigated the potential role of gga-let-7a-3p in IMF deposition. 2. The mimic and inhibitor of gga-let-7a-3p were individually transfected into chicken intramuscular preadipocytes. Subsequently, the proliferation and differentiation states of the cells were detected. Transcriptome sequencing was performed on cells transfected with gga-let-7a-3p mimic. 3. The results indicated that gga-let-7a-3p suppressed the mRNA levels of proliferation and differentiation-related genes, as well as the protein levels. EdU and Oil Red O assays revealed that gga-let-7a-3p restrained preadipocyte proliferation and differentiation. In addition, a total of 333 up-regulated genes and 807 down-regulated genes were identified in cells transfected with gga-let-7a-3p mimic. Using Kyoto Encyclopaedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) and Gene Ontology (GO) analysis, differential genes were found to be enriched in processes such as the peroxisome proliferator activated receptor (PPAR) signalling pathway and oxidative phosphorylation. 4. Although infection rates may increase after relaxation of the zero COVID strategy, the extensive vaccination campaign in China could potentially curb the spread of COVID-19, which may be associated with a low level of risk perception and post-traumatic stress symptoms (PTSS). However, the relationship between vaccination, risk perception and PTSS has not been studied extensively. This study aims to examine the associations between the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses, consistency in the type of each dose and time since vaccination with PTSS, and the mediating role of risk perception on such relationships in China. Cross-sectional sampling with a self-report questionnaire was used to measure vaccination, PTSS and risk perception. The survey was conducted in Beijing, China, from 13 January to 9 February 2023. Linear regression analyses were conducted to test the relationship between vaccination, risk perception and PTSS. The analysis included 55,803 individuals. In total, 72.86 % of participants received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Regression results indicated that people with two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine had a lower level of PTSS (β = −1.232, 95 % confidence interval [CI]: −1.930, −0.534) than those who had not received any doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Only the negative relationship between two-dose vaccination and PTSS was mediated by risk perception, while the negative relationship between the time since vaccination and PTSS was suppressed by risk perception. This study showed that receiving the COVID-19 vaccine reduced PTSS by decreasing perceived risk. A 6 B 2 O 17 (A= Hf, Zr; B= Ta, Nb) high-entropy ceramics are prepared by a solid reaction method, and the temperature-dependent mechanical properties are in situ determined by a high-temperature three-point bending combined with the digital image correlation method. The results show that (Hf 1/2 Zr 1/2) 6 (Ta 2/3 Nb 1/3) 2 O 17 (H 1 Z 1 T 2 N 1) ceramics exhibit superior high-temperature mechanical properties. As the temperature increases from 25 °C to 1200 °C, the fracture toughness and fracture strength decrease from 3.19 MPa·m1/2 to 2.37 MPa·m1/2 and from 97.38 MPa to 72.48 MPa, respectively. The H 1 Z 1 T 2 N 1 ceramics still maintain impressive mechanical properties at high temperatures due to the moderate grain size, low porosity and intergranular fracture. Furthermore, the higher entropy (9.61 R J/mol·K) of this ceramic leads to a significant high entropy effect, and the lattice distortion effects cause high-density dislocation regions, inducing a dislocation toughening mechanism. The ion kinetic effect on the formation of intense laser-driven collisional shock waves is investigated via hybrid fluid-particle-in-cell simulations. It is found that the ion heat flux dominates the shock formation, which is considerably larger than the electron heat flux in the shock region. The rise of the temperature due to the laser energy deposition drives a heatwave into the overdense plasma, creating an electron–ion energy exchange zone between the critical surface and heat wave front. The heated ions, which are generated at the electron–ion energy exchange zone via the friction force, are found to travel to the high-density region and cause a tail distribution gain. Despite the small quantity, the heated tail ions contribute most of the ion heat flux during the shock formation. Additionally, as the electron heat flux decreases, the population of the heated tail ions is reduced, leading to a fall in the ion heat flux. This results in the delay or even suppression of the shock formation, because the ions are in a non-equilibrium state in the vicinity of the shock region, the ratio of the downstream ion temperature to the upstream ion temperature tends to a modestly decrease in comparison to the theory. Solar wind heating is an outstanding issue that has been discussed for decades. Research on the connection between solar wind particle temperatures and turbulence may provide insight into this issue. Based on Parker Solar Probe observations, this paper investigates the properties of solar wind proton and electron temperatures in relation to turbulent magnetic energy, via the calculation of correlation coefficients (CCs) between particle temperatures and magnetic energy. The calculations are regulated by the spatial scale, plasma beta (β), and the angle between the solar wind velocity and background magnetic field, where the plasma beta is the ratio of plasma thermal to magnetic pressure. Results show that the correlation between proton temperature and magnetic energy is positive and can be strong with a CC exceeding 0.8. The strong correlation preferentially occurs at ion scales, with the wind velocity and background magnetic field quasi-perpendicular and over a wide beta range (β < 3.0). On the other hand, the correlation between electron temperature and magnetic energy is commonly negative, often with an intermediate or negligible CC, accordingly. The CC with an amplitude up to 0.8 can arise at larger scales with the wind velocity and background magnetic field quasi-(anti)parallel and in the low-beta case (β < 0.6). Migration of conventional petrochemical plasticizers can negatively affect the performance of plasticized products, human health and the environment and result in the reduction of petroleum resources. Thus, the development of bio-based plasticizers with migration resistance is very critical. In this study, two novel bio-based plasticizers with different structures derived from ricinoleic acid, i.e., epoxy acetylated benzyl ricinoleate (EABR) and epoxy acetyl terephthalate ricinoleate (EATPR), with good plasticizing effect and migration resistance were synthesized and characterized. The structure of EABR and EATPR was confirmed using FTIR and 1H NMR spectroscopies. The mechanical, thermal, and migration properties of the PVC samples plasticized with EABR and EATPR were extensively investigated, and the commercial plasticizer dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) was used for comparison. The plasticized PVC samples with EABR and EATPR showed similar impact strength, elongation at break, and glass transition temperature (Tg) to DOTP-plasticized samples, indicating a good plasticizing effect on PVC. Furthermore, EABR and EATPR demonstrated superior performance in migration and volatility tests compared to DOTP. Besides, the plasticizing properties of the plasticized PVC were very sensitive to the structure of the plasticizer; EATPR, with a symmetric structure, showed better plasticization and plasticizing efficiency than EABR, with an asymmetric structure. In conclusion, the two bio-based plasticizers derived from ricinoleic acid showed attractive potential as alternatives to phthalate plasticizers, especially EATPR, with a larger symmetric molecular structure and higher aliphatic content. By pressure demagnetization, take iron as an example, we mean either that, given an external magnetic field under a certain temperature, the magnetization becomes weaker as the pressure increases, which can be referred to as pressure demagnetization during magnetization, or that when external field is dropped to zero, the iron has residual magnetization or remanence, and the residual magnetization becomes weaker as the pressure increases as well, which can be referred to as pressure demagnetization in remanence. In order to account for the pressure demagnetization, we demonstrate that, though magnetic work has two equivalent forms in electromagnetism, only one form is proper in thermodynamics in general. Artemisia L. is the largest genus in the Asteraceae, and well known for its high medicinal value. The morphological features of Artemisia species are similar, making taxonomic identification and evolutionary research difficult.We sequenced chloroplast genomes of eight Artemisia species, all of which are common adulterants of A. argyi. We used novel genetic data and compared these data to the published A. argyi chloroplast genome in to develop molecular markers for species identification and reconstructing phylogenetic relationships between Artemisia species.The eight chloroplast sequences were highly similar in gene order, content, and structure, encoding a total of 114 genes (82 protein‐coding genes, 28 tRNAs, and four rRNAs). All species harboured similar repeat sequences and simple sequence repeats (SSRs), ranging from 47 to 49 and 38 to 40 repeats, respectively. In addition, we identified five hypervariable regions (rpl32‐trnL, rps16‐trnQ, petN‐psbM, trnE‐rpoB, and atpA‐trnR) and ten variable coding genes (ycf1, psbG, rpl36, psaC, psaI, accD, psbT, ndhD, ndhE, and psbH), which can be used to develop chloroplast molecular markers. Finally, phylogenetic reconstructions based on six datasets produced similar topologies, revealing A. argyi is closely related to species often found as adulterants, as expected.Our research provides valuable new information on the evolution and phylogenetic relationships between Artemisia chloroplast genomes and identifies valuable molecular makers to distinguish it from closely related species. Classifying and recognizing the reflection spectrum of coal–rock is an innovative method for coal–rock identification in coal mining process. Herein, a classification and recognition method of coal-rock reflection spectrum based on wavelet scattering transform (WST) and bidirectional long–short-term memory (BiLSTM) network was proposed to improve the recognition speed and accuracy. First, the reflection spectra of coal–rock samples were obtained using the coal–rock reflection spectrum information acquisition platform, and two spectral databases with different coal–rock states and different sampling parameter combinations were established to train the network model. Second, the original data were preprocessed by Gaussian filtering and randomly divided into the training set and test set. The wavelet scattering network was used to effectively extract spectral features from the reflection spectrum and generate a feature matrix. Finally, the training set feature matrix was input into the BiLSTM network model for training to obtain the WST–BiLSTM model. The effectiveness of the proposed network model was verified using the test set. The experimental results showed that the WST–BiLSTM model can classify and identify the coal–rock reflection spectrum more accurately than other related models in literature, and the recognition accuracy for the two databases reached 99.4% and 100%. Based on the constructed multi-state and multi-parameter combination spectral database, the proposed coal–rock recognition model has good adaptability to the reflected spectrum collected by different parameters. Hence, this model can provide a theoretical basis and technical premise for automatic and intelligent coal mining. In this contribution, isosorbide dinonanoate (SDN), an environmentally sustainable plasticizer for polypropylene (PP), is successfully synthesized by virtue of esterification reaction using isosorbide and nonanoic acid with the reaction temperature of 120 °C, and the reaction time of 5 h. When the corporation of plasticizer SDN into PP matrix is the value of 15 phr, the impact strength of PP blends reaches 121 J/m, the dramatically increase of 384% compare to that of PP. DMA results shows that the glass transition temperature (Tg) of PP blends gradually decline with the increasing amount of SDN, indicating the efficient plasticization action of the SDN. It is suggested that SDN can be feasibly inserted into the non-polar matrix and then more evenly dispersed in matrix, herein, it will increase the distance between the polymer chains, improving the mobility of the molecular chains and the processing performance of the polymers. • A dynamic simulation model of a novel wind-to-heat system is built. • The energy conversion from wind to heat is explained by the model. • The model is verified within 10% average errors with the experimental results. • The heat production capacity of the system in one heating season is obtained. • For the first time match the wind-to-heat system heat production and the heat load. As a clean heating technology, the wind-to-heat system with shorter energy conversion and higher efficiency is proposed. The simulation model of the wind-to-heat system is built by combined wind turbine, drive chain and heat pump with the control strategy. The compressor torque characteristics are the key to matching the wind turbine and the compressor. The three-zone model is used to simulate the condenser and the evaporator. Compared with theoretical calculation research, the dynamic performance and the accuracy of the system can be studied and improved. The control strategy specifies the control objectives of the system at different wind speeds. Comparing the simulated heating capacity, shaft power and revolving speed with the experimental values at different wind speeds, the simulation results are verified with average errors within 10%. Considering the application scope of the system on the user side, the match between the heat production and heat load is carried out. The wind energy utilization hours, the loss of load probability and the average electric heat production are introduced as evaluation indexes. Under the conditions with or without energy storage, to ensure the maximum utilization of wind energy in the wind-to-heat system, different optimal number of villas are obtained. This study investigates the capillary-associated interfacial area during primary drainage in unconsolidated porous media for different mean grain diameters, employing pore-scale numerical simulation with the phase-field method. Five, two-dimensional porous media are generated with the same grain/pore size uniformity, but different mean grain diameters, ranging between 0.24 mm and 0.94 mm. Three cases are considered, representing stable displacement, crossover zone and viscous-fingering regimes. The findings reveal that the capillary-associated interfacial production rate increases with decreasing grain size. Specifically, the capillary-associated interfacial production rate is higher for the viscous-fingering regime compared to the stable displacement. The maximum capillary-associated interfacial area obtained for different grain sizes agrees with the correlation established in our previous study using the kinetic interface-sensitive tracer. Furthermore, the capillary-associated interfacial area is divided into two parts: one related to the disconnected water clusters and the other related to the connected water. The disconnected capillary-associated interfacial area correlates with the average volume of the clusters, following an exponential function. Furthermore, the average volume of the clusters depends on both, the grain size and displacement regime. Moreover, it is found that the displacement regime has a great impact on the connected capillary-associated interfacial area. For stable displacement, the connected capillary-associated interfacial area is larger for larger mean grain diameter. Prior animal and epidemiological studies suggest that per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) exposure may be associated with reduced birth weight. However, results from prior studies evaluated a relatively small set of PFAS. Determine associations of gestational PFAS concentrations in maternal serum samples banked for 60 years with birth outcomes. We used data from 97 pregnant women from Boston and Providence that enrolled in the Collaborative Perinatal Project (CPP) study (1960–1966). We quantified concentrations of 27 PFAS in maternal serum in pregnancy and measured infant weight, height and ponderal index at birth. Covariate-adjusted associations between 11 PFAS concentrations (>75% detection limits) and birth outcomes were estimated using linear regression methods. Median concentrations of PFOA, PFNA, PFHxS, and PFOS were 6.189, 0.330, 14.432, and 38.170 ng/mL, respectively. We found that elevated PFAS concentrations during pregnancy were significantly associated with lower birth weight and ponderal index at birth, but no significant associations were found with birth length. Specifically, infants born to women with PFAS concentrations ≥ median levels had significantly lower birth weight (PFOS: β = −0.323, P = 0.006; PFHxS: β = −0.292, P = 0.015; PFOA: β = −0.233, P = 0.03; PFHpS: β = −0.239, P = 0.023; PFNA: β = −0.239, P = 0.017). Similarly, women with PFAS concentrations ≥ median levels had significantly lower ponderal index (PFHxS: β = −0.168, P = 0.020; PFHxA: β = −0.148, P = 0.018). Using data from this US-based cohort study, we found that 1) maternal PFAS levels from the 1960s exceeded values in contemporaneous populations and 2) that gestational concentrations of certain PFAS were associated with lower birth weight and infant ponderal index.
