Objective Our understanding of architecture-controlled oil-bearing heterogeneity shown in tight sandstone reservoirs is hindered by scarcity of large-scale oil-bearing outcrops. Triassic lacustrine delta and fluvial succession exposed in a quarry near Angou village （Yanchang county, northern Shannxi province） is an analog for buried oil-bearing tight sandstones in the Ordos basin. Methods In this study, 3D digital outcrop modeling was carried out on the oil-bearing sandstone outcrop of Angou by using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle（UAV） multi-point aerial photography, and then the depositional sequence diagenetic anatomy and field anatomy were carried out on the 3D digital model of Angou oil-bearing sandstone outcrop. Based on field observations, drone-based measurement and digital outcrop modelling, continuous sampling using Husquvarna power cutter and petrographic and diagenesis analysis under section, a 2D architectural heterogeneity model incorporating spatial configuration of effective reservoir was created. Results The UAV 3D digital outcrop modeling and field dissection revealed that the oil charging was only distributed within the interior, but not at the top or bottom of sand body. The configuration and nature of bounding surface underlying this succession was reconstructed with reference to lateral tracing for distinctive markers and a detailed measured profile with facies and sequence stratigraphic analysis. The results show that the sedimentary environment of oil-bearing tight sandstone is curved river channel. In the quarry, fluvial sandstone succession is underlain by a regional surface interpreted as a third-order sequence boundaries on the basis of abrupt landward facies change and locally developed incised valleys

Ubiquitin-conjugation enzyme E2C (UBE2C) is a crucial component of the ubiquitin-proteasome system that is involved in numerous cancers. In this study, we find that UBE2C expression is significantly increased in mouse embryos, a critical stage during skeletal muscle development. We further investigate the function of UBE2C in myogenesis. Knockdown of UBE2C inhibits C2C12 cell differentiation and decreases the expressions of MyoG and MyHC, while overexpression of UBE2C promotes C2C12 cell differentiation. Additionally, knockdown of UBE2C, specifically in the tibialis anterior muscle (TA), severely impedes muscle regeneration in vivo. Mechanistically, we show that UBE2C knockdown reduces the level of phosphorylated protein kinase B (p-Akt) and promotes the degradation of Akt. These findings suggest that UBE2C plays a critical role in myoblast differentiation and muscle regeneration and that UBE2C regulates myogenesis through the Akt signaling pathway.

The combustion of biomass fuel boilers not only produces inorganic pollutants such as carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides, sulfur compounds, but also organic pollutants such as VOCs and PAHs, which directly affect the global biogeochemical cycle and atmospheric changes. Compared with foreign countries, there is relatively less research and related standards on the emission of organic pollutants from biomass fuel boilers in China. Therefore, it is necessary to study the emission characteristics of organic pollutants from biomass boilers, which can provide reference for the establishment of organic pollutant emission standards for biomass fuel boilers in China.The emission characteristics of volatile organic compounds(VOCs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) organic pollutants in the flue gas of three typical biomass-fired boilers in Chongqing were studied, and the emission concentrations of particulate matter, sulfur dioxides(SO2), and nitrogen oxides(NOX) were measured.The results show that the sulfur dioxide emissions from the three types of biomass-fired boilersrs are lower than the local standards in Chongqing, while nitrogen oxides and particulate matter have a phenomenon of exceeding the emission limits of the local standards in Chongqing. The main components of VOCs emitted from biomass powder and biomass particle combustion are OVOCs and aromatic hydrocarbons, while the main components of VOCs emitted from wood biomass combustion are alkynes. The gas-solid distribution pattern of PAHs during the combustion of three types of biomass is basically consistent. Low ring PAHs are mainly enriched in the gas phase, while medium and high ring PAHs are mainly enriched in particulate matter.

Understanding the heterogeneity of reservoirs is crucial for enhancing the efficiency of hydrocarbon exploration and development. The primary porosity of samples from modern braided river sands and outcrops of braided river sandstone was calculated using a model previously proposed by the authors. The characteristic parameters (Vx) for calculating primary porosity are closely related to the architectural–elemental configurations (AEC), and the AEC of braided river sand bodies (BRSD) has apparent effects on the distribution of the primary porosity heterogeneities. Analysis of our results has established a simple primary porosity heterogeneity model of BRSD. The center of braided river channel and mid-channel bars have excellent strong primary petrophysical properties with high primary porosity exceeding 38%. The contact areas between the braided river channel and channel bars exhibit relatively low primary porosities of less than 33%. The area between the center and edge of the braided bars and channels displays medium primary porosities. The nonlinear correlation in the Q–Q plot of the primary porosity and present porosity of samples from BRSD in the Ahe Formation is mainly caused by chemical diagenesis. The present porosity heterogeneity of BRSD in the Ahe Formation is less influenced by compaction and cementation, it predominantly arises from the differential of dissolution. Q–Q plots attempt to correlate the geological information from an individual sample with the heterogeneity of present porosity in BRSD. In addition, by utilizing Q–Q plots of the primary and current petrophysical properties of the sand body, the relative extent of heterogeneity modification caused by different diagenetic processes can be assessed. In this paper, a novel AlGaN/GaN HEMT structure with a P-GaN buried layer in the buffer layer and a locally doped barrier layer under the gate (PN-HEMT) is proposed to enhance its resistance to single event transient (SET) effects while also overcoming the degradation of other characteristics. The device operation mechanism and characteristics are investigated by TCAD simulation. The results show that the peak electric field and impact ionization at the gate edges are reduced in the PN-HEMT due to the introduced P-GaN buried layer in the buffer layer. This leads to a decrease in the peak drain current (Ipeak) induced by the SET effect and an improvement in the breakdown voltage (BV). Additionally, the locally doped barrier layer provides extra electrons to the channel, resulting in higher saturated drain current (ID,sat) and maximum transconductance (gmax). The Ipeak of the PN-HEMT (1.37 A/mm) is 71.8% lower than that of the conventional AlGaN/GaN HEMT (C-HEMT) (4.85 A/mm) at 0.6 pC/µm. Simultaneously, ID,sat and BV are increased by 21.2% and 63.9%, respectively. Therefore, the PN-HEMT enhances the hardened SET effect of the device without sacrificing other key characteristics of the AlGaN/GaN HEMT. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

BACKGROUND: Licorice extract is an important raw material for food additives and medicine. The quality of licorice extract is dictated by the drying process. The commonly used drying methods of licorice extract are not efficient in obtaining high‐quality products so alternative techniques need to be developed and researched. In this study, ultrasound‐assisted vacuum drying (UAVD) was first utilized to improve drying efficiency and produce a higher‐quality product. The changes in water mobility of licorice extract during drying were characterized using low‐field nuclear magnetic resonance. In addition, the effects of ultrasonic power on the drying dynamics, the contents of liquiritin and glycyrrhizic acid, the antioxidant capacity and the microstructure formation of licorice extract during the whole drying process were investigated. RESULTS: The drying times for licorice extract to reach equilibrium moisture content were reduced by 9.09–69.70% with UAVD at 40–200 W compared with that without ultrasonic treatment (0 W). Moreover, the proportions of bound water and semi‐bound water in fresh concentrate were 3.75% and 96.25%. It was also found that high ultrasonic power promoted the flow of water and the formation of porous structure in licorice extract, which led to the improvement of drying efficiency. The contents of liquiritin (2.444%) and glycyrrhizic acid (6.514%) were retained to a large degree in the dried product at an ultrasonic power of 80 W. The DPPH inhibition rate of UAVD samples with different ultrasonic powers ranged from 84.07 ± 0.46% to 90.65 ± 0.22%. In this work, we propose combining a low work function anode metal and junction barrier Schottky structure to simultaneously achieve low turn-on voltage (Von) and high breakdown voltage (BV), which alleviates the dilemma that high BV requires high Schottky barrier height (SBH) and high Von. Molybdenum (Mo) is used to serve as the anode metal to reduce the SBH and facilitate fast turn-on to achieve a low Von. To resolve the low SBH related low BV issue, a p-NiO/n-Ga2O3-based heterojunction structure is used to enhance β-Ga2O3 sidewall depletion during the reverse state to improve the BV. With such a design, a low Von = 0.64 V(@1A/cm2) and a high BV = 2.34 kV as well as a specific on-resistance (Ron,sp) of 5.3 mΩ cm2 are demonstrated on a 10 μm-drift layer with a doping concentration of 1.5 × 1016 cm−3. β-Ga2O3 JBS diodes with low Von = 0.64 V and a power figure of merit of 1.03 GW/cm2 show great potential for future high-voltage and high-efficiency power electronics. We consider a class of Choquard problem set in \Omega which is a symmetric bounded smooth domain of \mathbb {R}^{N} (N\geq 3) with the upper critical exponent in the sense of the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality. Assume that \Omega is invariant under the action of a group G of orthogonal transformations, up to some range which depends on the symmetries, we prove the existence of infinitely many nontrivial G-invariant solutions to this problem, one of them is positive and the rest are sign-changing. Moreover we show the gradient estimate of solutions is closely related to the best Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev constant. The main results extend and complement the earlier works in the literature. To clarify the residue behavior and possible dietary risk of abamectin in fresh corn, bitter melon, and Fritillaria, a method was developed for the simultaneous determination of abamectin residues in fresh corn, bitter melon, and Fritillaria by QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, safe) ultra‐performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry. The mean recovery of abamectin in fresh corn, bitter melon, and Fritillaria was 86.48%–107.80%, and the relative standard deviation was 2.07%–10.12%. The detection rates of abamectin residues in fresh corn, bitter melon, and Fritillaria were 62.50%, 87.50%, and 80.00%, respectively. The residues of abamectin in fresh corn, bitter melon, and Fritillaria were not more than 0.020, 0.019, and 0.087 mg/kg, respectively. Based on these results, dietary risk assessment showed that the risk content of abamectin residues in long‐ and short‐term dietary exposure for Chinese consumers was 61.57% and 0.41%–1.11%, respectively, indicating that abamectin in fresh corn, bitter melon, and Fritillaria in the market would not pose a significant risk to consumers. Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ringheaded thrumbtack needle in the treatment of allergic rhinitis (AR)., Methods: Clinical studies about treatment of AR with ringheaded thrumbtack needle were searched from databases of CNKI, Wanfang, China Science and Technology Journal, China Biology Medicine disc, PubMed, Embase and Web of Science from their inception to November 2022. Two researchers independently screened the literature and collected related information. The total effective rate, visual analogue scale (VAS) for AR, rhinoconjunctivitis quality of life questionnaire (RQLQ), and recurrence rate were the main outcome indicators. Secondary outcome indicators included quantitative scores of symptoms and signs, 'quartering' symptom evaluation scale, etc. All the included studies were subjected to Meta-analysis using Stata software., Results: A total of 22 clinical studies involving 1 491 participants were included. The results of Meta-analysis indicated that the total effective rate of ringheaded thrumbtack needle in the treatment of AR was higher than that of traditional Chinese and Western medicine ［ RR =1.20, 95% CI (1.14, 1.26), P <0.001］, and recurrence rate is lower than conventional therapy ［ OR =0.35, 95% CI (0.14, 0.89), P =0.027］. Moreover, The VAS score ［ WMD =-1.30, 95% CI (-1.85, -0.75), P <0.001］ and RQLQ score ［ WMD =-6.75, 95% CI (-12.74, -0.76), P =0.027］ of AR treated by ringheaded thrumbtack needle were lower than those of traditional Chinese and Western medicine., Conclusions: Ringheaded thrumbtack needle can improve the total effective rate, reduce the disease recurrence, and improve the symptoms of discomfort when AR outbreaks, and has no significant adverse reactions. However, the reliability is limited. Thus, it is still necessary to improve the level of evidence quality by including researches with large samples, rigorous design and international standards.
