Background: The ultimate goal of advanced procedures in prosthetic dentistry is to construct a prosthesis based on the accurate reproduction of condylar guidance. Aim: To compare the sagittal condylar inclination obtained using the cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), panoramic image, and two articulator systems. Settings and Design: A cross-sectional study was carried out in 20 dentate patients in the age group of 20–40 years. Materials and Methods: Sagittal condylar guidance angles (SCGAs) were measured on two semi-adjustable articulators (Hanau Wide Vue and Denar Mark 320) using protrusive interocclusal record. SCGAs were also measured on the CBCT scans (CBCT reconstructed panoramic image and CBCT sagittal cross section) and the panoramic images obtained from the patients. The angles were determined on the radiographs by joining two lines: Frankfort’s horizontal plane and the other plane were drawn by connecting the superior-most point on the glenoid fossa and the inferior-most point on the articular eminence. All the measurements were done twice by two operators independently. Statistical Analysis Used: The data were analyzed using the paired t-test and Pearson’s correlation coefficient with a P ≤ 0.05. Results: There was no significant difference between the right and the left side in any of the groups (P ≥ 0.05). In addition, there was no significant difference between the clinical methods (P ≥ 0.05). However, there was a significant difference between the clinical and the radiographic methods (P ≤ 0.05). Furthermore, there was a strong correlation between the clinical and radiographic methods with Pearson’s Correlation coefficient above 0.67. Conclusion: There is a strong correlation between the clinical and radiographic methods. Thus, CBCT and OPG can be used an adjunct to clinical methods to record sagittal condylar guidance.

During the COVID‐19 pandemic, online social networks are extensively utilized, more than ever before by 8.4%, resulting in the propagation of false information related to COVID‐19. Despite the existence of many fake news detection models; annotation inconsistency, memory consumption, accurate and self‐trained efficient algorithms for detecting the emerging COVID‐19 misinformation tweets are still challenging. Hence, the main aim of this work is to come up with a self‐trained semi‐supervised model that accurately and automatically detects the reliability of emerging COVID‐19 tweets without delay. In this work, COVID‐19 tweet dataset is created in English Language from the period January 2020 to January 2022 as a ground truth database. Then self‐trained semi‐supervised hybrid deep learning model is proposed to train both supervised and unsupervised components simultaneously using the created dataset. The proposed model is self‐trained repeatedly and the model gets updated to predict the reliability of upcoming COVID‐19 tweets that differ from training tweets. We performed experiments multiple times by limiting the percentage amount of labelled tweets shown to the model, namely 80%, 50%, 40%, 30%, 20% and 10% labelled tweets, respectively. Experimental results show that the proposed model achieves 80.92% accuracy and 98.15% accuracy in the 10% and 80% label‐seen experiments, respectively. This shows a clear rising trend in the performance curve. Therefore, this technique will be useful for effectively classifying voluminous amounts of emerging tweets generated as part of the COVID‐19 infodemic. Background: Hemorrhage is a significant complication associated with mini-percutaneous nephrolithotomy (mini-PCNL). CT angiography (CTA) has emerged as a valuable tool for preoperative assessment of renal vasculature, potentially reducing the risk of hemorrhage during the procedure. Materials and methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 100 patients who underwent mini-PCNL for renal calculi between January 2020 and December 2022. Preoperative CTA was performed on all patients to assess renal vascular anatomy. The degree of renal vascularization and presence of aberrant vessels were noted. Mini-PCNL procedures were then performed according to standard techniques. Results: Of the 100 patients, 25 (25%) exhibited aberrant renal vascular anatomy on CTA. The presence of aberrant vessels was associated with a significantly higher risk of intraoperative hemorrhage (p < 0.05). However, among patients with normal renal vascular anatomy, the incidence of hemorrhage was significantly lower. Additionally, patients with aberrant vessels required longer operative times and had higher rates of postoperative complications. Conclusion: Preoperative assessment with CTA provides valuable insights into renal vascular anatomy, allowing for the identification of aberrant vessels that may predispose patients to intraoperative hemorrhage during mini-PCNL. Incorporating CTA into the preoperative workup can aid in surgical planning and risk stratification, potentially reducing the incidence of hemorrhage and improving procedural outcomes. Objective: This study sought to determine consensus opinions from subspecialty radiologists and imaging physicists on the relative importance of image quality features in CT., Methods: A prospective survey of subspecialty radiologists and medical physicists was conducted to collect consensus opinions on the relative importance of ten image quality features: axial sharpness, blooming, contrast, longitudinal sharpness, low contrast axial sharpness, metal artifact, motion, noise magnitude, noise texture, and streaking. The survey was first sent to subspecialty radiologists in volunteer leadership roles in the American College of Radiology and Radiological Society of North America, thereafter relying on snowball sampling. Surveyed subspecialties were abdominal, cardiac, emergency, musculoskeletal, neuro, pediatric, and thoracic radiology, and medical physics. Individual respondents' ratings were normalized for calculation of mean normalized ratings and priority rankings for each feature within subspecialties. Also calculated were intraclass correlation coefficients across image quality features within subspecialties, and analysis of variance across subspecialties within each feature., Results: Most subspecialties had moderate to excellent intraclass agreement. For every radiology subspecialty except musculoskeletal, motion was the most important image quality feature. There was agreement across subspecialties that axial sharpness and contrast are only moderately important. There was disagreement across subspecialties on the relative importance of noise magnitude. Blooming was highly important to cardiac radiologists, and noise texture was highly important to musculoskeletal radiologists., Conclusion: Image quality preferences differ based on clinical tasks and challenges in each anatomical radiology subspecialty. Medical imaging is both valuable and essential in the care of patients. Much of this imaging depends on ionizing radiation with attendant responsibilities for judicious use when performing an examination. This responsibility applies in settings of both individual as well as multiple (recurrent) imaging with associated repeated radiation exposures. In addressing the roles and responsibilities of the medical communities in the paradigm of recurrent imaging, both the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) have issued position statements, each affirmed by other organizations. The apparent difference in focus and approach has resulted in a lack of clarity and continued debate. Aiming towards a coherent approach in dealing with radiation exposure in recurrent imaging, the IAEA convened a panel of experts, the purpose of which was to identify common ground and reconcile divergent perspectives. The effort has led to clarifying recommendations for radiation exposure aspects of recurrent imaging, including the relevance of patient agency and the provider-patient covenant in clinical decision-making. CLINICAL RELEVANCE STATEMENT: An increasing awareness, generating some lack of clarity and divergence in perspectives, with patients receiving relatively high radiation doses (e.g., ≥ 100 mSv) from recurrent imaging warrants a multi-stakeholder accord for the benefit of patients, providers, and the imaging community. Emamectin Benzoate (EB) is a semi-synthetic insecticide which was primarily created to combat lepidopteron insects. EB disrupts the neurotransmitters Gamma Amino Butyric Acid (GABA) through enhancing permeability of membrane chloride ion, resulting in the loss of cell function progressing to irreversible paralysis in invertebrates. Poisoning with EB in humans is rare; till date with just about five reported cases, two of which resulted in fatalities. Scarcity of treatment management information may cause a delay in the initiation of treatment, which is often general therapy rather than specific. By reporting this rare case of poisoning in human, the researchers wish to add value to the existing information and aid in forming a standard management of EB poisoning in humans. Here within, we report an acute case of EB poisoning in an adult male with no history of co-morbidities, had allegedly consumed approximately 125 mL of EB 1.9 % and, presented with complaints of vomiting, profuse sweating and drowsiness. The patient was treated with gastric lavage, fluid replenishment, and other supportive as well as symptomatic measures. The prognosis of the patient was guarded and care has been taken not to administer any Central Nervous System (CNS) depressants. Introduction: Acetabular fractures, resulting from high-energy trauma, present significant orthopaedic challenges. Despite their rarity, the incidence of these fractures is rising, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of their epidemiological characteristics, especially in diverse populations like India., Methods: This retrospective study analyzed data from 3643 patients across four level-1 trauma centers in India (North 1, North 2, West, and South) from January 2001 to December 2019. Prior ethical approval was obtained from the respective institutions. Data were collected using the computerized patient record system (CPRS) and included patients with complete clinical and radiological records. Only patients with full radiological data were included, comprising standard anteroposterior radiograph, Judet views on radiographs, and computed tomography scan of the pelvis. The study evaluated the demographic characteristics, fracture patterns and surgical approaches., Results: The majority of patients were males (84.05 %) and the fractures were mostly seen in young individuals between 19 and 40 years' age group (44.9 %), followed by 41-60 years (42.3 %). Associated bony or other system injuries were seen in 53.42 % of patients, with pelvic injuries being the most common (9.8 %). Posterior wall fractures were the most frequent (20.7 %), while anterior wall fractures were the least common (0.8 %). Operative management was employed in 82 % of cases, with the Kocher-Langenbeck approach being the most commonly employed (42.5 %)., Conclusion: High-velocity trauma remains the commonest cause of acetabular trauma in India, primarily affecting young male individuals. Pelvic fractures are the most commonly associated injuries. Introduction: Sexual dysfunction (SD) is a common and distressing symptom for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). Populations included in existing studies of SD may not fully reflect the diversity of people living with MS, with important implications for wider applicability. We aimed to evaluate reporting of sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnicity across studies of SD in MS., Methods: A systematic search of four databases was performed. Two independent authors evaluated all papers. Reporting of sex and gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnicity were recorded., Results: A total of 419 papers were reviewed, and 204 studies with 77,902 participants met the criteria for evaluation. Of 204 studies, 98 (48.0%) included both male and female participants; 78 (38.2%) included females only, and 27 (13.2%) males only. In 19 (9.3%) studies, participants were asked their gender. No studies reported asking a two-step question on sex and gender identity. No studies reported including non-binary patients or gender identities other than male or female. No studies reported including intersex patients. Only 10 (4.9%) studies reported the inclusion of homosexual or bisexual participants, or participants from other sexual minority groups. The overwhelming majority of studies (181; 88.7%) did not report ethnicity or race of participants., Conclusion: Sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnicity are poorly reported in studies on SD in MS. Background Urolithiasis, characterized by the formation of stones in the urinary tract, is a common condition with significant morbidity. Medical expulsive therapy (MET) has emerged as a non-invasive treatment modality for facilitating the spontaneous passage of ureteral stones. However, MET success varies widely among individuals, and identifying predictive factors for treatment outcomes is crucial for optimizing patient care. Objective This study aimed to evaluate the predictive role of radiological and hematological parameters in the success of MET for ureteral stones. Methods A prospective observational cohort study was conducted at the Department of Urology, tertiary care center, Patna, involving consecutive patients who underwent MET for ureteral stones. Radiological parameters (stone size, location, and hydronephrosis) and hematological markers (C-reactive protein (CRP) and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR)) were assessed as predictors of treatment success. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to identify significant predictors of MET success. Results Among the 156 patients included in the study (mean age: 42 years; range: 18-50 years), radiological parameters, such as smaller stone size (<10 mm) and absence of hydronephrosis, were significantly associated with higher rates of MET success (p<0.05). Lower CRP levels (p<0.001) and NLR (p<0.05) were also predictive of treatment success. Logistic regression analysis confirmed the independent predictive value of these parameters after adjusting for potential confounders. Conclusion Radiological and hematological parameters are valuable predictors of the success of MET for ureteral stones. Cenchrus americanus (L.) Morrone (Poaceae), is an important millet crop cultivated mainly in arid and semiarid regions and is a staple food grain for millions of people. During 2021 July surveys in the pearl millet fields in Mysore (12°30'55" N; 76°56'54" E), Karnataka, India, plants showed spathe blight and leaf spot disease with an overall incidence ranging from 5 - 8% in the 15 hectares surveyed. Infected leaves appeared brown, and lesions extended to the sheath. Some spathes were also found infected with similar symptoms. Diseased leaves and spathes were collected (n = 5 each) for pathogen identification. Samples were cut into small pieces (0.5 cm2), sterilized with sodium hypochlorite (2%, v/v), and blotted dried. The associated fungal pathogen was isolated on potato dextrose agar (PDA) medium amended with Streptomycin (40 mg/L) and incubated at 28 ºC for 1 week. Colonies were grey, fluffy, cottony with an irregular margin, undulate and dark brown in the back of the plate. Conidiophores were pale brown, erect, slightly curved, septate, unbranched, verruculose and measured 27.1 - 94 µm in length × 2.3 - 4.5 µm in width (n = 20). Conidiogenous cells were brown, subcylindrical, irregularly shaped, and conidia were straight, mainly elliptical, dark brown smooth, with two to three septa, with measurements of 11.1 - 26.4 µm by 5.7 - 14.3 µm (n = 50). Based on morphological characters, the pathogen was identified as Curvularia sp. Two representative isolates (UOMPM1 & UOMPM2) were molecularly identified. The total genomic DNA was extracted with a CTAB method, and ITS, GAPDH and tef-1α loci were amplified using primers ITS1/ITS4 (White et al., 1990), GPD1/GPD2 (Berbee et al., 1999) and EF1983F/EF-2218R (Schoch et al., 2009) respectively. ITS sequence had 100% similarity (706/706bp) with reference sequence C. spicifera (MH863648; HF934915 & HF934916); tef-1α sequence had 100% (933/933bp) identity with C. spicifera (KM062878, KJ939505), and the GAPDH sequence was 99.8% identical to that of Curvularia sp. (MG979055), and C. spicifera (MH809681). Combined dataset of concatenated sequence (ITS-GAPDH-tef-1α) was used in a phylogenetic analysis and revealed that the isolates were in a common clade with the isolate of Curvularia spicifera (CBS 274.52) thus, confirming the identity of the isolated pathogen as C. spicifera. The sequences obtained in the present study were deposited in the GenBank (ITS: OQ253406, OQ253407; LSU: OQ253429, OQ253430; GAPDH: OQ263372, OQ263373 & TEF: OQ263374, OQ263375). Pathogenicity test was carried out by inoculating (foliar /whole plant spray) 60 healthy pearl millet plants (45-days old), grown in field plot with spore suspension (105 conidia/ml). Control plants (n=20) were treated with sterile water. The experiments were conducted in triplicates and repeated twice. Development of disease symptoms was recorded on 41 plants, and all control plants remained healthy. The identity was confirmed after re-isolation as C. spicifera based on cultural and molecular sequence analysis. To our knowledge, this is the first report of C. spicifera causing a leaf spot and spathe blight disease of pearl millet in India. This disease seriously affects grain production, and effective disease management strategies need to be investigated.

Rationale: As per International Council for Harmonization (ICH) drug stability test guideline Q1A(R2), inherent stability characteristics of a drug should be studied. This work was designed to investigate inherent degradation characteristics of the drug idelalisib under ICH prescribed stress conditions, identify its degradation products, and postulate their corresponding degradation pathways., Methods: Idelalisib was subjected to the ICH prescribed conditions of hydrolytic (neutral, acidic, and alkaline), photolytic, oxidative, and thermal stress according to ICH guideline Q1A(R2). An ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography with photodiode array (UHPLC-PDA) method was developed to adequately resolve the drug from its degradation products, validated as per the ICH guidelines, and subsequently extended to UHPLC with electrospray ionization quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (ESI-QTOFMS) studies to identify the degradation products., Results: Significant degradation was noted under conditions of acidic/alkaline hydrolysis, acid photolysis, and oxidative stress. The UHPLC/ESI-QTOFMS studies revealed the generation of four degradation products (I-IV), which were satisfactorily resolved from the drug by UHPLC on a Kinetex® C18 (100 × 4.6 mm; 2.6 μm) column by the developed isocratic elution method. Detection wavelength was selected as 270 nm. All the degradation products (I-IV) could be identified and characterized from their mass spectral data. The degradation pathways for the generation of various products from the drug were postulated., Conclusions: A UHPLC-PDA method was developed and validated for idelalisib. Background: US nuclear capable shipyard workers have increased potential for occupational radiation exposure., Objective: The aim of the study is to examine solid tumor mortality risks at low doses., Method: 437,937 workers working from 1957 to 2004 at eight US shipyards were studied., Results: Radiation workers with a median life-time dose at 0.82 mSv had a significantly lower solid tumor mortality risk (relative risk [RR]: 0.96, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.94-0.98) than nonradiation workers. Among 153,930 radiation workers, the RRs of solid tumors increased with increasing dose categories without statistical significance. The dose category >0-<25 mSv had significantly lower RR (0.95, 95% CI: 0.91-0.99) versus 0 dose and the excess relative risk was 0.05/100 mSv (95% CI: 0.01-0.08)., Conclusions: Solid tumor risk might increase with radiation dose, but not linearly at low doses. The linear, non-threshold (LNT) hypothesis of cancer induction derived from studies of populations exposed to moderate-to-high acute radiation doses may not be indicative of cancer risks associated with lifetime radiation exposures less than 100 mSv. The objective of this study was to examine risks and dose-response patterns of lymphohematopoietic cancer (LHC) and its types associated with low radiation exposure while adjusting for possible confounding factors. A retrospective cohort of 437,937 U.S. nuclear shipyard workers (153,930 radiation and 284,007 non-radiation workers) was followed from 1957 to 2011, with 3,699 LHC deaths observed. The risk of LHC in radiation workers was initially compared to the risk in non-radiation workers. Time dependent accumulated radiation dose, lagged 2 years, was used in categorical and continuous dose analysis among radiation workers to examine the LHC risks and possible dose-response relationships based on Poisson regression models. These analyses controlled for sex, race, time dependent age, calendar time, socioeconomic status, solvent-related last job, and age at first hire. The median lifetime radiation dose for the radiation worker population was 0.82 mSv and the 95th percentile dose was 83.63 mSv. The study shows: 1. LHC mortality for radiation workers was significantly lower than non-radiation workers relative risk: 0.927; 95% confidence intervals (95% CI): 0.865, 0.992; P = 0.030]. Among LHC types, the risks for lymphoid leukemia and lymphomas in radiation workers were lower than the risk in non-radiation workers with statistical significance, while the risk for the rest of LHC types did not show any statistically significant difference. 2. In categorical dose analysis among radiation workers, sample size weighted linear trend of relative risk (RRs) for LHC and its types in five dose categories (>0-<25, 25-<50, 50-<100, 100-<200, and > = 200 mSv) vs. 0 mSv were not statistically significant, although there was an elevation of RR for chronic myeloid leukemia only in the 50-<100 mSv category (RR: 2.746; 95% CI: 1.002, 7.521; P = 0.049) vs. 0 mSv. 3. The Poisson regression analyses among radiation workers using the time dependent radiation dose as a continuous variable showed an excess relative risk (ERR) for LHC at 100 mSv of 0.094 (95% CI: -0.037, 0.225; P = 0.158) and leukemia less chronic lymphoid leukemia, of 0.178 (95% CI: -0.085, 0.440; P = 0.440) vs. 0 mSv. Chia (Salvia hispanica L., Lamiaceae) is an important commercial and medicinal crop recently popularized in India and widely cultivated in Karnataka (Joy et al., 2022). During the field survey of chia crop diseases, characteristic virescence like symptoms were observed at Main Agricultural Research Station, UAS, Raichur as well as at Mysuru and HD Kote region. The incidence was ranged from 2 - 4 per cent in an area of 30 hectares. Typical symptoms associated with chia are malformed shoot and/or inflorescence axis with reduced floral parts with greenish florets. The stem axis become thick, flattened, leaves are reduced towards terminal region. A total of five phytoplasma suspected samples and five suspected healthy samples were used for identification purpose. The Plant Genomic DNA Miniprep Kit (Sigma Aldrich, USA) was used to extract the DNA from five symptomatic and five asymptomatic samples and the DNA was used as template to amplify the phytoplasma-specific 16S rDNA gene using P1/P7 primers (Deng and Hiruki, 1991; Schneider et al., 1995) followed by nested PCR using R16F2n/R16R2 primers (Gundersen and Lee 1996). The expected 1.25-kb amplicon was detected from the suspected symptomatic samples. Nested PCR products were purified and sequenced from both the directions using ABIX370 Genetic Analyzer (Applied Biosystems, Waltham, MA). The analysis revealed that all five sequences shared 100 per cent identity with Candidatus Phytoplasma aurantifolia (OM649850, ON975012) and Tomato big bud phytoplasma (EF193359). The in-silico RFLP pattern of F2n/R2 primed region of 16S rDNA gene analyzed by using iPhyClassifier (Zhao et al. 2009) revealed that the sequence shared 98.72 per cent nucleotide sequence similarity with coefficient value of 1.00 to the reference strain RFLP pattern of 16Sr group II, subgroup D (witches'-broom disease of lime; U15442). Based on 16SrDNA sequences and in-silico RFLP analysis, the phytoplasma associated with the chia virescence was identified as a member of 16SrII-D group. Further, SecA gene was also amplified from the samples using SecAfor1/SecArev3 primer pair (Hodgetts et al., 2008). All samples produced ~400 bp products and sequenced as detailed above. Sequence analysis by nBLAST revealed 100 per cent similarity to Ca. P. australasia (MW020545) and Ca. P. aurantifolia isolate Idukki Kerala 1 (MK726369) both representing 16SrII-D group phytoplasma. The representative sequence (16Sr: PP359693, PP359694; secA:PP386558, PP386559) were deposited in GenBank. Chia virescence phytoplasma belonging to Ca. phytoplasma australasia has not been reported anywhere. The phytopathological studies associated with chia crop are very limited. Joy et al. (2022) reported the occurrence of foot rot disease caused by Athelia rolfsii. Several hosts are recorded to be associated with 16SrII D phytoplasma which includes china aster, eggplant and crotalaria (Mahadevakumar et al., 2017, Yadav et al., 2016a, b). Now the wide occurrence of the phytoplasma in the area might have transmitted by vectors. The occurrence of virescence is of great importance as it affects the overall yield which reduces the market value. To our knowledge, this is the first report of a group 16SrII-D phytoplasma associated with chia virescence in India.

Background: The ultimate goal of advanced procedures in prosthetic dentistry is to construct a prosthesis based on the accurate reproduction of condylar guidance., Aim: To compare the sagittal condylar inclination obtained using the cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), panoramic image, and two articulator systems., Settings and Design: A cross-sectional study was carried out in 20 dentate patients in the age group of 20-40 years., Materials and Methods: Sagittal condylar guidance angles (SCGAs) were measured on two semi-adjustable articulators (Hanau Wide Vue and Denar Mark 320) using protrusive interocclusal record. SCGAs were also measured on the CBCT scans (CBCT reconstructed panoramic image and CBCT sagittal cross section) and the panoramic images obtained from the patients. The angles were determined on the radiographs by joining two lines: Frankfort's horizontal plane and the other plane were drawn by connecting the superior-most point on the glenoid fossa and the inferior-most point on the articular eminence. All the measurements were done twice by two operators independently., Statistical Analysis Used: The data were analyzed using the paired t -test and Pearson's correlation coefficient with a P ≤ 0.05., Results: There was no significant difference between the right and the left side in any of the groups ( P ≥ 0.05). In addition, there was no significant difference between the clinical methods ( P ≥ 0.05). However, there was a significant difference between the clinical and the radiographic methods ( P ≤ 0.05). Furthermore, there was a strong correlation between the clinical and radiographic methods with Pearson's Correlation coefficient above 0.67., Conclusion: There is a strong correlation between the clinical and radiographic methods. Background: Standards for image quality evaluation in multi-detector CT (MDCT) and cone-beam CT (CBCT) are evolving to keep pace with technological advances. A clear need is emerging for methods that facilitate rigorous quality assurance (QA) with up-to-date metrology and streamlined workflow suitable to a range of MDCT and CBCT systems., Purpose: To evaluate the feasibility and workflow associated with image quality (IQ) assessment in longitudinal studies for MDCT and CBCT with a single test phantom and semiautomated analysis of objective, quantitative IQ metrology., Methods: A test phantom (Corgi TM Phantom, The Phantom Lab, Greenwich, New York, USA) was used in monthly IQ testing over the course of 1 year for three MDCT scanners (one of which presented helical and volumetric scan modes) and four CBCT scanners. Semiautomated software analyzed image uniformity, linearity, contrast, noise, contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR), 3D noise-power spectrum (NPS), modulation transfer function (MTF) in axial and oblique directions, and cone-beam artifact magnitude. The workflow was evaluated using methods adapted from systems/industrial engineering, including value stream process modeling (VSPM), standard work layout (SWL), and standard work control charts (SWCT) to quantify and optimize test methodology in routine practice. The completeness and consistency of DICOM data from each system was also evaluated., Results: Quantitative IQ metrology provided valuable insight in longitudinal quality assurance (QA), with metrics such as NPS and MTF providing insight on root cause for various forms of system failure-for example, detector calibration and geometric calibration. Monthly constancy testing showed variations in IQ test metrics owing to system performance as well as phantom setup and provided initial estimates of upper and lower control limits appropriate to QA action levels. Rigorous evaluation of QA workflow identified methods to reduce total cycle time to ∼10 min for each system-viz., use of a single phantom configuration appropriate to all scanners and Head or Body scan protocols. Numerous gaps in the completeness and consistency of DICOM data were observed for CBCT systems., Conclusion: An IQ phantom and test methodology was found to be suitable to QA of MDCT and CBCT systems with streamlined workflow appropriate to busy clinical settings., (© 2024 American Association of Physicists in Medicine.)
