- Abstract
Automated lighting control systems are critical to enhancing energy efficiency and user comfort in modern buildings. This paper offers an in-depth examination of these systems' features, benefits, and potential future designs. By investigating the integration of modern technologies including daylight harvesting, motion sensors, and occupancy sensors. The research classifies several kinds of automated lighting control systems and looks at their implementation methodologies, emphasizing best practices for an effective rollout in a range of building contexts. This covers hybrid strategies that incorporate aspects of both decentralized and centralized systems. Exploring new developments in automated lighting control technologies, such as the increasing popularity of wireless connectivity, machine learning algorithms for predictive control, and interaction with other building management systems, is a major goal of the research. The study also looks into how these new technologies might affect building settings in the future.
