The article examines the influence of mass media on the formation of individual value systems in the context of the modern world. The authors argue that media products can significantly impact the formation and development of personal values. A total of 45 respondents, aged from 20 to 50 years old, took part in the study, divided into three age groups of 15 people each: the first group of 20-30 years old, the second group of 30-40 years old, the third group of 40-50 years old. Statistical analysis of the data revealed significant differences in the evaluation of values such as health, communication, kindness, love, social status, and leadership, based on age (p < 0.01). The findings confirm the hypothesis that the media products consumed by individuals influence their value systems, particularly during wartime conditions.

The current research aims at identifying:What is the level of social impact on the value system among university students.Identifying the differences in the influence of social networking sites on the value system according to:(A) sex (males-females). (B) Field of specialization (scientific-humanistic).The Research sample consists of (200) male and female students who are divided into (100) male students and (100) female students. (Al-zayoun, Mulhim and Al-Wamleh scale, 2017) has been adopted as an instrument of the research paper, the information has been by means of applying the instrument the psychometine characteristics of the instrument represented by validity and reliability have been verified and after processing the date statistically the researcher has come out of the following findings:The level of the social impact on the value system among university students was of high level.There are statistical significant difference according to sex for the benefit of male students.3. There are statistical significant difference according to field of specialization for the benefit of humanistic stream.

Christian doctrine clearly regulates a person’s daily life, relationships with others, and behavior even down to eating. Breaking the commandments is considered a sin, and overcoming one’s own weakness leads to the improvement of man and bringing him closer to God, which is ultimately the goal of every Christian’s life. On the material of Cyrillic monuments of written texts of a teaching character, we will consider how the deviation from the norms of Christian morality and violation of the rules of doctrine are reflected in sermons. The sermon as a non-canonical, free genre is interesting for the study of the human value system; it is in the texts of sermons that one can find a reaction to socially significant events. In the article we will trace what sins are mentioned in sermons, what methods of overcoming them are suggested, and what values are emphasized as the main ones. We will conduct this study on the material of the sermons that are part of the Uglian didactical gospel, the didactical gospel of Clement Bukowski, and some other collections. To overcome sin, the Church used not only teachings, but also a collection of laws, the distinctive feature of which was the indication of punishment (penitentia) for the violation of this or that regulation. It should be noted that the various punishments were not physical, but spiritual (e.g. excommunication from the sacrament of confession and communion for a certain period of time, strict fasts, and many others), and the main purpose of punishment was to correct the sinful nature of man and bring him closer to God.

This article explores the concept of divergent value systems and the potential risks of abandoning religion. It argues that while every society develops its own value system, secular values cannot fully replace traditional religious ethics. The article raises questions about whether different value systems can replace traditional systems of morality associated with religion and examines the definitions of values and the value system. It also discusses the relationship between values and society from the perspectives of Western and Islamic cultures, emphasizing the importance of understanding cultural and philosophical backgrounds when interpreting values. Additionally, the article provides an overview of the value systems in Eastern civilizations, focusing on Japan, China, and India, and highlights the historical and cultural influences on these value systems. It acknowledges the diversity within these societies and the ongoing challenges they face in reconciling different religions and cultures. The article concludes that a value system should complement traditional moral systems rather than replace them, and that religion provides an important basis for ethical behavior. Building contractors' value systems is a powerful force in establishing a construction sector free from corruption. Thus, this study examined the value systems of building contractors and assessed how these systems' psychological impacts affected the construction industry's corruption indicators. Using the theoretical lens of social adaptation theory, this study postulated that a building contractor's tolerance for corruption is psychologically influenced by their value system. Quantitative data were collected from contractors engaged in building and civil engineering projects in Nigeria. Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) was used to test the proposition. The study discovered that the value system of building contractors includes achievement, teamwork, openness, resourcefulness, excellence, precision, efficiency, and self-respect. Results from the MLR showed that none of the values in the value system have very notable effects on corruption indicators. The study's conclusions imply that the building contractors' current value system does not provide the desired level of anti-corruption defense. The conclusions suggest that the building contractors' value system should be modified and reformed through ethical education and professional growth. The study added to knowledge by showing that a value system may not be corrupt-oriented while still lacking the anticipated anti-corruption defense. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The article analyzes approaches to value orientations study in Russian and foreign psychology. The definition of value orientations based on the reflection, activity, activity, determinism principles has been clarified. The features of the approach to the value orientations study in Russian psychology are represented by three directions – philosophical, concrete-scientific and psychological. The features of the value orientations study in foreign psychology have been presented, where the main attention is paid to the problems of personality typology on the basis of its value orientations and their role in the activity motivation. Each person is guided by what is considered by him as important, essential, and strives to achieve what acquires for him subjective value. Within the framework of general psychology and personality psychology, we always mean individually significant values, on which a person is oriented, – value orientations. A refined definition of value orientations as a mental dimension of the reflected objective reality in the form of subjective significance of its components, which is analyzed in the directionality of the subject’s activity and structured in accordance with the level of its spiritual and moral component, has been given.

This article covers a case of premeditated murder that occurred in a Hungarian city fifteen years ago. The perpetrators were juveniles, and investigations were conducted by the police, prosecutors, psychologists, forensic psychiatrists, and the court to determine the motive for the crime. However, no root cause was found that could be understood by human reason. The defendants only cited their annoyance with their third companion’s friendship. The article also discusses emotional intelligence disabilities and antisocial personality disorder. It covers the criminal verdicts and the reasons for the second-degree civil verdict in the non-pecuniary compensation case of the murdered 17-year-old boy’s parents. The civil judgment highlights the importance of parents teaching their children values such as mercy, grace, compassion, and pity as part of moral education. The article also covers the possibilities of prevention through teaching children skills such as managing their emotions for better frustration tolerance and anger management.

The paper studies the impact of ethnocentrism and cultural intelligence on employee outcome during corporate restructuring or expansion. The authors propose a theoretical model to test this relationship. In-depth interviews of 122 professionals in Northern India who have either been a part of an international assignment or have expanded their businesses were conducted and analysed for testing the proposed model. Key findings suggest that an ethnocentric person finds it difficult to perform well at his workplace as he is constantly faced with dilemmas of cultural fitness. A culturally intelligent person easily adapts oneself to the new environment without any adverse effect on performance. To provide a smooth transition during restructuring, mangers should take measures to encourage cultural intelligence and promote ethno-relativism among the employees. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of this article is to capture how religiosity is sociologically researched. On the basis of a bibliographical research, the particularities of quantitative, qualitative and mixed methodological approaches to this topic are highlighted. Each method used enhances a different dimension of religiosity. In studying the religious phenomenon, it is found that there are certain limitations that the researcher must take into account. Its working data also include spiritual values, which legitimise how research participants relate to the phenomenon. In turn, the researcher has his own relationship to religiosity. As inherent in man, the evaluation process begins at the moment of our birth and accompanies us throughout our lives. The student's value system is formed during socialisation under the influence of various factors. Family, education, and school have a fundamental role in shaping, preserving, and changing values. It is necessary to know the learner's pre-existing values, what they represent in their behaviour, actions, and words. The student's value system is reflected in their perception and way of life; it determines their relationship with the world, reflecting in their behavioural norms, activities, moral rules they follow, Etc. In the following, I undertake a short presentation of the research on Hungarian young people in Romania with the aim of preparing a kind of chronological, a thematic overview of the implemented research.
