Background Accessory breast plasma cell mastitis (PCM) is uncommon in clinical practice with rare reports. Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics, diagnostic methods and the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinical efficacy of accessory breast PCM. Methods The clinical diagnosis and treatment data of 15 patients with accessory breast PCM admitted to Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Capital Medical University from January 2017 to December 2021 were analyzed retrospectively, the general information, diagnostic methods, treatment methods and outcomes of 15 cases with accessory breast PCM were summarized. Results A total of 15 female patients of childbearing age with accessory breast PCM were included in this paper, with onset within 2-5 years after pregnancy. The etiology was complex and the course of accessory breast PCM was protracted, which was similar to breast PCM in pathogenetic characteristics, using pathological examination results as gold standard for diagnosis. After the combination of internal and external treatment of TCM, the symptoms of 15 patients were relieved, local lesions disappeared, and there was no recurrence after six months of follow-up. Conclusion Accessory breast PCM is rare in clinical practice, which is easy to be misdiagnosed or missed, and difficult to be treated clinically. The combination of internal and external treatment of TCM has a significant effect on accessory breast PCM.

Aiming to maintain the stability of the mining roadway and the next working-face roadway in the goaf side of a coal mine, a systematic study was carried out, through theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, field case analysis, and other methods, of the synergistic change mechanism in the stress distribution and plastic zone development morphology of the roadway's surrounding rock in the goaf side under mining disturbance. It was revealed that, under the influence of mining, the goaf side will form a high-deviatoric-stress environment, which directly affects the shape and stability of the plastic zone of the roadway's surrounding rock. Based on the characteristics of the principal stress ratio and the morphological development law of the plastic zone of the surrounding rock, the side of the goaf is divided into four regions: unloading zone, high-deviatoric-stress zone, low-deviatoric-stress zone, and original-stress zone. And the corresponding mine pressure behavior zoning is proposed: fracture zone, butterfly failure zone, elliptical failure zone, and circular failure zone. A quantitative evaluation method for the stability of the roadway surrounding rock based on the plastic zone morphology criterion was established, and combined with the division of mine pressure, the stability of the surrounding rock on the side of the goaf was quantitatively evaluated. Energy shortages are a key issue at present, and climate problems caused by the extraction and use of traditional fossil energy sources are also creating new challenges for rural development, with sustainable rural energy development being a priority at present. This paper takes the sustainable development of rural energy as the research object, and evaluates the development of rural energy in each prefecture-level city in Henan Province. On the one hand, rural development is viewed from the perspective of energy, on the other hand, the evaluation results provide a reference for each prefecture-level city, and most of the energy data can be obtained directly and with a high degree of accuracy, based on the CRITIC - MABAC methodology to determine the weights from an objective point of view and to rank the evaluation results, which is capable of obtaining the most accurate evaluation results. Finally, we used energy-related data from Henan Province in 2022 to conduct empirical analyses, and verified that Shangqiu City has a high level of sustainable rural energy development, which verifies the feasibility of the methodology proposed in this paper, and gives relevant recommendations. Recombination plays a crucial role in evolution by generating novel haplotypes and disrupting linkage between genes, thereby enhancing the efficiency of selection. Here, we analyze the genomes of 12 great reed warblers (Acrocephalus arundinaceus) in a 3-generation pedigree to identify precise crossover positions along the chromosomes. We located more than 200 crossovers and found that these were highly concentrated toward the telomeric ends of the chromosomes. Apart from this major pattern in the recombination landscape, we found significantly higher frequencies of crossovers in genic compared with intergenic regions, and in exons compared with introns. Moreover, while the number of recombination events was similar between the sexes, the crossovers were located significantly closer to the ends of paternal compared with maternal chromosomes. In conclusion, our study of the great reed warbler revealed substantial variation in crossover frequencies within chromosomes, with a distinct bias toward the sub-telomeric regions, particularly on the paternal side. These findings emphasize the importance of thoroughly screening the entire length of chromosomes to characterize the recombination landscape and uncover potential sex-biases in recombination. To address the issue of intelligent optimization algorithms being prone to local optima, resulting in insufficient feature extraction and low fault-type recognition rates when optimizing Variational Mode Decomposition and Support Vector Machine parameters, this paper proposes a fault diagnosis method based on an improved Artificial Gorilla Troops Optimization algorithm. The Artificial Gorilla Troops Optimization algorithm was enhanced using Logistic chaotic mapping, a linear decreasing weight factor, the global exploration strategy of the Osprey Optimization Algorithm, and the Levy flight strategy, improving its ability to escape local optima, adaptability, and convergence accuracy. This algorithm was used to optimize the parameters of Variational Mode Decomposition and Support Vector Machine for fault diagnosis. Experiments on fault diagnosis with two datasets of different sample sizes showed that the proposed method achieved a diagnostic accuracy of no less than 98% for samples of varying sizes, with stable and reliable results. Room‐temperature phosphorescent (RTP) materials have great potential for in vivo imaging because they can circumvent the autofluorescence of biological tissues. In this study, a class of organic‐doped long‐wavelength (≈600 nm) RTP materials with benzo[c][1,2,5] thiadiazole as a guest was constructed. Both host and guest molecules have simple structures and can be directly purchased commercially at a low cost. Owing to the long phosphorescence wavelength of the doping system, it exhibited good tissue penetration (10 mm). Notably, these RTP nanoparticles were successfully used to image atherosclerotic plaques, with a signal‐to‐background ratio (SBR) of 44.52. This study provides a new approach for constructing inexpensive red organic phosphorescent materials and a new method for imaging cardiovascular diseases using these materials. Background: Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV) is an emerging tick-borne phlebovirus that causes viral hemorrhagic fever. Pandemic concerns have arisen due to the increased human-to-human transmission and high mortality rate, highlighting the urgent need for specific therapeutics., Methods: Our observational study characterized the memory B cell response to natural SFTSV infection in four survivors. Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) targeting the SFTSV glycoprotein N (Gn) were isolated and tested for in vitro neutralizing activities and effects on virus binding. Structural analysis was performed to identify neutralizing epitopes recognized by the mAbs. Prophylactical and therapeutical protections were evaluated using a lethal SFTSV infection model., Findings: The selected mAbs exhibiting neutralizing activity primarily originate from the IGHV5-51 and IGHV3-30 germlines and target four distinct antigenic sites on SFTSV Gn. These elite mAbs effectively blocked the interaction between Gn and the cell receptor, preventing infections from five phylogenetically distinct SFTSV clades. Structural analysis revealed a novel neutralizing epitope located within SFTSV Gn domain I recognized by the elite mAbs. Objectives: The Association between preoperative D-dimer with morphologic features and surgical outcomes of Acute Type A Aortic Dissection (ATAAD) is still unclear., Methods: 430 ATAAD patients who underwent total arch replacement (TAR) and frozen elephant trunk (FET) in Beijing Anzhen Hospital of Capital Medical University between January 2016 to December 2020 were enrolled in the present study. Patients were divided into higher D-dimer (>2307 ng/ml) group and lower D-dimer (≤2307 ng/ml) group. We compared the extent of dissection and branch artery perfusion patterns between the two groups. The restricted cubic spline (RCS) was performed to assess the association between D-dimer with the extent of dissection and major adverse events after surgery., Results: Among 430 patients, there was 45(10.47%) in-hospital mortality and 156(36.28%) major adverse events. Patients with higher D-dimer had bigger dissection extension length and false lumen perimeter in ascending aorta, thoracic descending aorta, diaphragmatic, coeliac trunk, and renal artery level. For the branch artery perfusion patterns, Patients with higher D-dimer had a higher proportion of malperfusion among the innominate artery, right renal artery, and both side iliac artery, a higher proportion of dissected intercostal artery/all intercostal artery>0.5(43.46% vs 29.63%, p = 0.003). The RCS linear regression model revealed a nonlinear association between lnD-dimer with extension length and false lumen perimeter (all p for overall and p for nonlinearity＜0.001 except false lumen perimeter in ascending aorta level). The RCS logistic regression model revealed a linear association between lnD-dimer with major adverse events (p for overall＜0.001, p for nonlinearity = 0.637). The association between lnD-dimer and major adverse events was still significant in the fully adjusted logistic regression model with CTA characteristics (OR (95% CI) =1.388 (1.137, 1.695), p = 0.001)., Conclusions: Preoperative D-dimer strongly and positively correlates with the extent of dissection and major adverse events of ATAAD after total arch replacement (TAR) and frozen elephant trunk (FET). Rheumatic mitral valve disease often requires surgical interventions, such as percutaneous mitral commissurotomy, surgical mitral valve repair, or replacement, especially in severe cases. This necessitates a precise preoperative assessment of the extent of mitral valve disease. Currently, transthoracic echocardiography, the gold standard for preoperative assessment, has limitations, such as restricted acoustic windows and dependence on the operator, which can affect the evaluation of subvalvular structures and calcification of the mitral valve. Previous studies have shown that cardiac computed tomography (CT), with its high resolution, strong multiplanar reconstruction capabilities, and sensitivity to calcifications, can effectively overcome these limitations. Therefore, this study aims to summarize and evaluate the effectiveness of cardiac CT in examining mitral valve leaflets, annulus, and subvalvular structures. Pollen tubes are typical polarized growth cells whose elongation occurs only in tip regions and is highly dependent on precise and ordered exocytosis/endocytosis in the top regions of the tubes. Although anionic phospholipids have been proven to be involved in regulating vesicle trafficking and the proper localization and functions of proteins in pollen tubes, the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms remain poorly understood. To further understand how anionic phospholipids are involved in vesicle trafficking and in the control of protein localization and functions, assay methods to analyze the polar localization of anionic phospholipids and their binding proteins, and identifying phospholipid-protein interactions, should be developed. Here, we describe detailed protocols for analyzing anionic phospholipid polar localization and colocalization with their binding proteins in Arabidopsis pollen tubes and examining phospholipid-protein interactions in vitro., (© 2024.
