【Objective】 Soil salinity and alkalinity is the main soil stress facing crop production in Northwestern China. Developing crop varieties resistant to salinity and alkalinity is a way to developing sustainable agriculture in this region. This paper presents an experimental study on the impact of irrigation amount and schedule on growth of saline-alkali tolerant rice in Northern Yinchuan in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. 【Method】 The experiments used Ningjing 56 (NJ56) and Jijing 105 (JJ105) - two saline-alkali tolerant rice varieties commonly grown in this region - as model plants. There were four irrigation treatments (W1-W4). The irrigation amount for W1-W4 was: 3 000, 2 700, 2 400 m3/hm2 and 2 100 m3/hm2 before seedling emergence; 1 050, 1 650, 1 800 m3/hm2 and 1 500 m3/hm2 at the seedling stage; 1 800, 1 200, 1 050 m3/hm2 and 2 100 m3/hm2 at the tillering stage, 2 100, 1 500, 1 800 m3/hm2 and 1 350 m3/hm2 at the jointing stage; 1 350, 1 800, 1 050 m3/hm2 and 500 m3/hm2 at the heading stage; 900, 1350, 2 100 m3/hm2 and 1 650 m3/hm2 at grain filling stage, respectively. The effect of each irrigation treatment on growth, yield and quality of the rice were measured in the experiment, from which we calculated the optimal irrigation for each rice variety. 【Result】 ① For JJ105, the percentage of chalky grain and the degree of chalkiness were the highest in W1, reaching 68.67% and 19.30%, respectively; the seedling emergence was the highest in W2, reaching 84.47%. W3 gave the highest milling rate, protein content and gel consistency, reaching 81.76%, 9.40%, 9.13, respectively. ② For NJ56, W1 gave the highest tillering and panicle formation rate, grain yield, irrigation water use efficiency, and water and amylose content in the grains, reaching 75.67%, 10 388.78 kg/hm2, 101.85%, 10.50% and 20.07%, respectively; the 1000-grain weight was the highest in W3, reaching 24.83 g; W4 gave the highest spike length, and grain weight per spike, reaching 21.35 cm and 2.81 g, respectively; the alkali elimination value in W4 was 7 for the two varieties. 【Conclusion】 There were significant differences between the two varieties in their response to irrigation treatments. Overall, NJ56 grew better and the associated optimal irrigation for it is W4.

The teaching mode of the innovative automotive manufacturing process is to improve students’ automotive manufacturing technology. In this paper, firstly, the basic principle of the ant colony algorithm is introduced, and the ant colony algorithm is improved and optimized by heuristic function, state transfer probability and pheromone update rule. Then the optimized ant colony algorithm is used as the base algorithm for constructing the ADDIE model. After establishing the ADDIE model, two dimensional indicators of the teaching mode of the automotive manufacturing process, i.e. teaching objectives of the basic course and application course, are mined for the example of the automotive manufacturing process course of L school. The two example indicators proposed are analyzed and illustrated using the example data.

Objective: To analyze the effect of fasting blood glucose levels after reperfusion of acute large vessel occlusion (ALVO) on patient functional prognosis. Methods: Retrospectively included ALVO patients from three large stroke centers in China, all of whom achieved vascular reperfusion after mechanical thrombectomy or bridging thrombolysis. The prognosis scores of all patients at 90 ± 7 days post-recanalization were categorized into a good prognosis group (mRS 0–2) and a poor prognosis group (mRS 3–6). The relationship between mean blood glucose levels at 72 h post-recanalization and prognosis was explored using multivariable logistic regression analysis. Then we measured the area under the ROC curve for all factors to assess their predictive performance. Results: (1) Totally 2,056 patients were included in the study, with 1,488 males and 568 females. There were 1,370 patients in the good prognosis group (mRS 0–2) and 686 in the poor prognosis group (mRS 3–6). (2) The two groups exhibited significant differences in terms of age, preoperative mRS score, history of diabetes, and mean fasting blood glucose (MFBG) (p < 0.001). (3) With 90-day mRS as the outcome variable, all independent variables were included in Univariate and multivariate regression analyses analysis, and the results showed that: age, preoperative mRS score, history of diabetes, and MFBG are all independent predictors of prognosis after recanalization of ALVO, with MFBG demonstrating a higher predictive power than the other factors (AUC = 0.644). Conclusion: Various factors are correlated with the prognosis in patients who have undergone ALVO recanalization. Notably, the MFBG level demonstrates a significant predictive value for outcomes within the first 72 h following the recanalization procedure. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A smart grid is designed to enable the massive deployment and efficient use of distributed energy resources, including distributed photovoltaics (DPV). Due to the large number, wide distribution, and insufficient monitoring information of DPV stations, the pressure to maintain them has increased rapidly. Furthermore, based on reports in the relevant literature, there is still a lack of efficient large-scale maintenance strategies for DPV stations at present, leading to the high maintenance costs and overall low efficiency of DPV stations. Therefore, this paper proposes a maintenance period decision model and an areal maintenance strategy. The implementation steps of the method are as follows: firstly, based on the reliability model and dust accumulation model of the DPV components, the maintenance period decision model is established for different numbers of DPV stations and different driving distances; secondly, the optimal maintenance period is determined by using the Monte Carlo method to calculate the average economic benefits of daily maintenance during different periods; then, an areal maintenance strategy is proposed to classify all the DPV stations into different areas optimally, where each area is maintained to reach the overall economic optimum for the DPV stations; finally, the validity and rationality of this strategy are verified with the case study of the DPV poverty alleviation project in Badong County, Hubei Province. The results indicate that compared with an independent maintenance strategy, the proposed strategy can decrease the maintenance cost by 10.38% per year, which will help promote the construction of the smart grid and the development of sustainable cities. Therapeutic cancer vaccines are among the first FDA‐approved cancer immunotherapies. Among them, it remains a major challenge to achieve robust lymph‐node (LN) accumulation. However, delivering cargo into LN is difficult owing to the unique structure of the lymphatics, and clinical responses have been largely disappointing. Herein, inspired by the Migrated‐DCs homing from the periphery to the LNs, an injectable hydrogel‐based polypeptide vaccine system is described for enhancing immunostimulatory efficacy, which could form a local niche of vaccine "hitchhiking" on DCs. The OVA peptide modified by lipophilic DSPE domains in the hydrogel is spontaneously inserted into the cell membrane to achieve "antigen anchoring" on DCs in vivo. Overall, OVA peptide achieves active access LNs through recruiting and "hitchhiking" subcutaneous Migrated‐DCs. Remarkably, it is demonstrated that the composite hydrogel enhances LNs targeting efficacy by approximately six‐fold compared to free OVA peptide. Then, OVA peptide can be removed from the cell surface under a typical acidic microenvironment within the LNs, further share them with LN‐resident APCs via the "One‐to‐Many" strategy (One Migrated‐DC corresponding to Many LN‐resident APCs), thereby activating powerful immune stimulation. Moreover, the hydrogel vaccine exhibits significant tumor growth inhibition in melanoma and inhibits pulmonary metastatic nodule formation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In order to explore the crystallization behavior of Co‐doped amorphous manganese dioxide(Co‐doped AMO) and to investigate the electrochemical properties of its different crystallization products as cathodes for aqueous zinc ion batteries. In this work, the effects of heat treatment temperature on the microstructure and phase composition of Co‐doped AMO and their electrochemical properties of Zn‐MnO2 battery cathode materials are systematically investigated. The results show that Co‐doping increases the crystallization temperature of pure AMO. When the heat treatment temperature is 400 °C, Co‐doped AMO is amorphous. At 500 and 550 °C, part of the Co‐doped AMO crystallizes into tetragonal spinel structured (Co, Mn)(Co, Mn)2O4 material between MnCo2O4 and Mn3O4. At 650 °C, the crystallized product is completely nano‐α‐Mn(Co)O2 crystal. The maximum discharge specific capacities and the retention rate after 100 cycles of the samples at 100 mA g−1 are 325.40 mAh g−1, 86.88%; 217.00 mAh g−1, 13.94%; 186.68 mAh g−1, 41.01%; and 149.03 mAh g−1, 31.27% for the unheated and 400, 550, 650 °C heat‐treated samples, respectively. It is proved that the Co‐doped AMO without heat treatment is superior to the partially or fully crystallized materials in terms of comprehensive performance and cost as cathode materials for AZIB. Accurately assessing tree mortality probability in the context of global climate changes is important for formulating scientific and reasonable forest management scenarios. In this study, we developed a climate-sensitive individual tree mortality model for Masson pine using data from the seventh (2004), eighth (2009), and ninth (2014) Chinese National Forest Inventory (CNFI) in Hunan Province, South–Central China. A generalized linear mixed-effects model with plots as random effects based on logistic regression was applied. Additionally, a hierarchical partitioning analysis was used to disentangle the relative contributions of the variables. Among the various candidate predictors, the diameter (DBH), Gini coefficient (GC), sum of basal area for all trees larger than the subject tree (BAL), mean coldest monthly temperature (MCMT), and mean summer (May–September) precipitation (MSP) contributed significantly to changes in Masson pine mortality. The relative contribution of climate variables (MCMT and MSP) was 44.78%, larger than tree size (DBH, 32.74%), competition (BAL, 16.09%), and structure variables (GC, 6.39%). The model validation results based on independent data showed that the model performed well and suggested an influencing mechanism of tree mortality, which could improve the accuracy of forest management decisions under a changing climate. Rare‐earth (RE) silicates environmental barrier coatings (EBCs) are prone to accelerate failure resulted from molten calcium–magnesium–aluminum silicate (CMAS), which presents significant challenges to the design and development of durable EBCs. In this study, X1‐Gd2SiO5 and X2‐Er2SiO5 coatings were explored on their corrosion resistance to CMAS melts with different Ca/Si ratios (1.1, 0.75, 0.64, and 0.42) at 1350°C for 25 and 50 h, respectively. Results showed that with the Ca/Si ratio increasing, CMAS viscosity decreased and a more intense corrosion reaction with coatings occurred. Garnet phase was only observed in X2‐Er2SiO5 coating corroded by CMAS with high Ca/Si ratios, which could be beneficial for improving corrosion resistance. The X2‐Er2SiO5 phase, which is composed of [SO4] and [REO6]/[REO7] polyhedrons, exhibits better corrosion resistance due to its more stable crystal structure, lower reactivity with CMAS, and the radius difference between the RE ions and Ca2+. Estrogen excess in females has been linked to a diverse array of chronic and acute diseases. Emerging research shows that exposure to estrogen-like compounds such as bisphenol S leads to increases in 17β-estradiol levels, but the mechanism of action is unclear. The aim of this study was to reveal the underlying signaling pathway-mediated mechanisms, target site and target molecule of action of bisphenol S causing excessive estrogen synthesis. Human ovarian granulosa cells SVOG were exposed to bisphenol S at environmentally relevant concentrations (1 μg/L, 10 μg/L, and 100 μg/L) for 48 h. The results confirms that bisphenol S accumulates mainly on the cell membrane, binds to follicle stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR) located on the cell membrane, and subsequently activates the downstream cyclic adenosine monophosphate/protein kinase A (cAMP/PKA) signaling pathway, leading to enhanced conversion of testosterone to 17β-estradiol. Purpose: Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3 (VEGFR-3) plays a critical role in tumor lymphangiogenesis and metastasis, holding promise as a promising therapeutic target for solid tumors. TMVP1 (LARGR) is a 5-amino acid peptide previously identified in our laboratory from bacterial peptide display system that specifically targets VEGFR-3. Radiolabeled TMVP1 can be used for non-invasive imaging of VEGFR-3 expressing tumors. Homodimeric peptides have better targeting ability than monomeric peptides, and it is worth exploring whether homodimers of TMVP1 ((TMVP1)2) can achieve better imaging effects. This study aimed to explore the peptide properties and tumor assessment value of [68Ga]Ga-labeled (TMVP1)2. Methods: In this study, we developed a TMVP1 homodimer that was conjugated with 1,4,7-triazacyclononane-N, N′, N″-triacetic acid (NOTA) via tetraethyleneglycol (PEG4) and triglyicine (Gly3) spacer, and labeled with 68Ga, to construct [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-(TMVP1)2. Binding of VEGFR-3 by TMVP1 and (TMVP1)2, respectively, was modeled by molecular docking. The affinity of [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-(TMVP1)2 for VEGFR-3 and its ability to bind to cells were evaluated. MicroPET imaging and biodistribution studies of [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-(TMVP1)2 were performed in subcutaneous C33A cervical cancer xenografts. Five healthy volunteers and eight patients with cervical cancer underwent whole-body PET/CT acquisition 30–45 min after intravenous injection of [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-(TMVP1)2. Results: Both molecular docking and cellular experiments showed that homodimeric TMVP1 had a higher affinity for VEGFR-3 than monomeric TMVP1. [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-(TMVP1)2 was excreted mainly through the renal route and partly through the liver route. In mice bearing C33A xenografts, [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-(TMVP1)2 specifically localized in the tumor (2.32 ± 0.10% ID/g). Pretreatment of C33A xenograft mice with the unlabeled peptide NOTA-(TMVP1)2 reduced the enrichment of [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-(TMVP1)2 in tumors (0.58 ± 0.01% ID/g). [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-(TMVP1)2 proved to be safe in all healthy volunteers and recruited patients, with no side effects or allergies noted. In cervical cancer patients, a majority of the [18F]-FDG identified lesions (18/22, 81.8%) showed moderate to high signal intensity on [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-(TMVP1)2. SUVmax and SUVmean were 2.32 ± 0.77 and 1.61 ± 0.48, respectively. With normal muscle (gluteus maximus) as background, tumor-to-background ratios were 3.49 ± 1.32 and 3.95 ± 1.64 based on SUVmax and SUVmean, respectively. Conclusion: The favorable characterizations of [68Ga]Ga-NOTA-(TMVP1)2 such as convenient synthesis, high specific activity, and high tumor uptake enable the evaluation of VEGFR-3 in cervical cancer patients and warrant further clinical studies.
