为提高核桃壳仁混合物的分级效果，对现有核桃壳仁混合物分级设备进行三维实体建模，利用EDEM软件模拟核桃壳仁混合物的分级过程，以筛面上物料的运动速度、质量以及各等级颗粒在统计区域的数量为指标，以振幅、振动频率、振动方向角、筛面倾角为考察因素，对振动筛分级工艺进行优化。结果表明：在振动频率12 Hz、振幅5 mm、振动方向角45°、筛面倾角4°的工艺参数组合下，各等级核桃壳仁的透筛率最高，分级效果最好。In order to improve the grading effect of walnut shell and kernel mixture, the existing classification equipment of walnut shell and kernel mixture was modeled by 3D entity, and the grading process of the walnut shell and kernel mixture was simulated by EDEM. Based on the movement speed, mass of the material on the sieve surface and quantity of particles of each grade material in the statistical area as indicators, the grading process by vibrating screen was optimized with the amplitude, vibration frequency, vibrating direction angle and the sieve surface inclination as factors. The results showed that the screening rate of each grade of walnut shell and kernel was the highest and the grading effect was the best under the conditions of vibration frequency 12 Hz, amplitude 5 mm, vibrating direction angle 45°, and sieve surface inclination 4°.

In this paper, based on distributed transfer function method (DTFM), the closed-form analytical solutions for vibrations of Euler–Bernoulli beam and frame structures with arbitrary number of cracks are studied. First, generalized DTFM is employed to characterize the dynamical model for a single cracked beam and its analytical solutions for eigenvalue problem and frequency response are obtained. Then, a new DTFM cracked element that encapsulates one crack of arbitrary location inside the beam is proposed. Using the DTFM cracked element and global dynamic stiffness matrix assembly technique, damaged frame structures of arbitrary form can be modeled for vibration analysis. Previous analytical methods only addressed low-frequency vibration of simple cracked beam structures, the proposed method can yield analytical solutions in the medium- and high-frequency regions, which is critical for the small crack detection in complex frames. Lastly, three numerical examples are given to illustrate the correctness and effectiveness of the DTFM in analyzing natural frequencies, modal shapes and frequency responses for cracked structures. By comparing with the Finite Element Method (FEM) and benchmarks from literatures, we proved that the DTFM has better performances in terms of accuracy and efficiency. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

There are deviations between the radio telescope antenna finite element (FE) model, founded on the design stage, and the actual working antenna structure. The original FE model cannot accurately describe the antenna structure deformation characteristics under the environmental load, thereby compromising the accuracy of the active structural compensation. This article proposes an antenna FE model updating method founded on parameter optimization with a surrogate model. The updating method updates the modulus of elasticity parameters of different components of the antenna backup structure (BUS) to obtain finite element analysis (FEA) results consistent with the actual measurement of the antenna reflector surface shape. The surrogate model founded on the multi-quadratic radial basis function (RBF) improves the computational efficiency of FE model updating, replacing the complex and time-consuming finite element analysis and calculation process. This method is implemented on a radio telescope antenna with an aperture of 25 m. The results show a significant reduction in the mismatch between the antenna and the updated FE model. This method's calculation time is significantly reduced compared with the updating method without using the surrogate model, with the RBF surrogate model taking 1% of the time of the finite element model in the FEA calculations. The proposed method can improve the antenna FE model calculation accuracy and significantly enhance the efficiency of FE model updating calculations. [Objective] Change in soil water content is not only an indicator of water stresses used for irrigation management but also controls biogeochemical processes in soil. In this paper, we study the feasibility of using thermal infrared imaging to estimate soil moisture dynamics. [Method] The experiment was conducted in July-August 2023 in a walnut orchard in Xinjiang. Thermal infrared images of the walnut canopy were measured continuously using a thermal infrared camera. Based on the HSV color space of the images, an improved K-means segmentation algorithm was proposed to analyze the change in canopy temperature. We also measured air temperature and humidity, illuminance, wind speed, atmospheric CO2, and soil water content in the 0-80 cm soil layer, from which we proposed an inversion model to estimate soil water dynamics. [Result] The improved K-means algorithm increased the accuracy from 82.34% to 94.55%, and the errors between the canopy temperature acquired from the images and the measured canopy temperature were in the range of 0 to 1.0. The infrared imaging method was most accurate between 14:00 pm to 16:00 pm. Our results showed that the walnut roots were most active in taking up water from the 40-60 cm soil layer 50-60 cm away horizons from the tree truck. Canopy temperature, air temperature and relative humidity, and atmospheric CO2 concentration were correlated with soil water content at significant levels; they can thus be used to estimate soil water dynamics, with a coefficient of determination of R2=0.86 and p<0.01. [Conclusion] The temperature acquired from the infrared images of the walnut canopy can be used with other metrological data and atmospheric CO2 concentration to estimate soil water dynamics in the root zone of the walnut. Epilepsy is one of the most prevalent and serious brain disorders and affects over 70 million people globally. Antiseizure medications (ASMs) relieve symptoms and prevent the occurrence of future seizures in epileptic patients but have a limited effect on epileptogenesis. Addressing the multifaceted nature of epileptogenesis and its association with the Nod-like receptor family pyrin domain containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome-mediated neuroinflammation requires a comprehensive understanding of the underlying mechanisms of these medications for the development of targeted therapeutic strategies beyond conventional antiseizure treatments. Several types of NLRP3 inhibitors have been developed and their effect has been validated both in in vitro and in vivo models of epileptogenesis. In this review, we discuss the advances in understanding the regulatory mechanisms of NLRP3 activation as well as progress made, and challenges faced in the development of NLRP3 inhibitors for the treatment of epilepsy. This research discusses the effect of typical characteristic dimensions of electrodes on electric arc electrochemical composite machining (EAECM). The flow rate and debris removal capability of electrodes with different characteristic dimensions were investigated by flow field simulation. Single-factor machining experiments were conducted. The discharge characteristics, process indicators and machined surfaces of electrodes were analyzed it was found that the tubular electrode has a demarcation phenomenon that affects the surface quality. The results indicate that the use of electrodes with large inner diameters is favorable to improve the surface consistency. The use of electrodes with small outer diameters improves the overall surface quality but increases the electrode wear. Finally, the fracture mechanism of thin-walled electrodes was revealed by stress field simulations and experiments. In conclusion, in order to improve the machining effect of EAECM, large-diameter (inner and outer diameter) electrodes with wall thickness greater than 2 mm should be selected. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
