In silicon-based hybrid anodes, the uniform hybridization of silicon with conducting/buffering matrices is very critical in achieving desirable lithium storage performance. Herein, a cyanosol-derived electrostatic assembly and pyrolysis route has been developed to construct homogeneous silicon/metal/carbon (Si/M/C) ternary materials. Specifically, Si nanoparticles surrounded by ultrafine FeCo alloy are uniformly anchored on graphene (G), yielding a Si/FeCo/G nanohybrid. The incorporation of M/C dual matrices, with ultrafine alloy nanocrystals evenly distributed on graphene, into silicon could be responsible for the improved structural stability and charge-transport capability of the ternary anode. As a result, the Si/FeCo/G nanohybrid manifests good cycling stability (1426 mA h g−1 after 100 cycles at 0.5 A g−1) and high rate performance (1266 and 1118 mA h g−1 at 5 and 10 A g−1, respectively). Flexible paper-based force sensors have garnered significant attention for their important potential applications in healthcare wearables, portable electronics, etc. However, most studies have only used paper as the flexible substrate for sensors, not fully exploiting the potential of paper's micro-nanostructure for sensing. This article proposes a novel approach where paper serves both as the sensitive element and the flexible substrate of force sensors. Under external mechanical forces, the micro-nanostructure of the conductive-treated paper will change, leading to significant changes in the related electrical output and thus enabling sensing. To demonstrate the feasibility and universality of this new method, the article takes paper-based capacitive pressure sensors and paper-based resistive strain sensors as examples, detailing their fabrication processes, constructing sensing principle models based on the micro-nanostructure of paper materials, and testing their main sensing performance. For the capacitive paper-based pressure sensor, it achieves a high sensitivity of 1.623 kPa−1, a fast response time of 240 ms, and a minimum pressure resolution of 4.1 Pa. As for the resistive paper-based strain sensor, it achieves a high sensitivity of 72 and a fast response time of 300 ms. The proposed new method offers advantages such as high sensitivity, simplicity in the fabrication process, environmental friendliness, and cost-effectiveness, providing new insights into the research of flexible force sensors. Heterostructures endow electrochemical hybrids with promising energy storage properties owing to synergistic effects and interfacial interaction. However, developing a facile but effective approach to maximize interface effects is crucial but challenging. Herein, a bimetallic selenide heterostructure is realized in a confined carbon network via an in situ electrochemical strategy to induce highly active and stable electrode architecture. The dynamically formed heterostructures upon repeated delithiation/lithiation process not only yield abundant interconnected SnSe2/FeSe2 heterojunctions with continuous channels for ion/electron transfer but maintain excellent conversion reversibility. Serving as anode for lithium storage, the SnSe2/FeSe2@C framework enables a high discharging capacity of 1781.9 mAh g−1 at 0.5 A g−1 after 500 cycles and superior cycling stability (no capacity fade after 1200 cycles at 2 A g−1). This study can guide future design protocols for interface engineering through the formation of dynamic channels of conversion reaction kinetics for potential applications in high‐performance electrodes. This work presents a study of late Quaternary activity on the Jinta Nanshan Fault (JTF), to constrain its properties including seismic hazard, and to understand the tectonic evolution of the northern edge of the Tibetan Plateau. The JTF has developed during northeastward growth of the Qilian fold-and-thrust belt and eastward growth of the Altyn Tagh Fault. Based on remotely-sensed image interpretation and field investigation, trench studies, high-resolution terrain construction and Optical Stimulated Luminescence dating, we study the fault geometry and slip motion, and constrain the slip rate and the latest earthquake for the JTF. The JTF continues as far southeast as the Heihe River and shows predominantly left-lateral strike-slip displacement. The left-lateral slip rate is 0.27–0.48 mm/yr since late Pleistocene, much larger than the vertical slip rate of 0.05 ± 0.01 mm/yr. The latest rupture event of the JTF is slightly before 1 ka, which could be related to the poorly-recorded 756 CE earthquake in Hexi Corridor, and is also associated with fresh offset during this earthquake in the geomorphology of the east segment of the JTF. Strike-slip offset in this earthquake is estimated as 3.2 ± 0.4 m, with a rupture length of at least ∼13 km, indicating a moment magnitude of 6.4–7.2. We estimate the recurrence interval as 8–13 ka, based on the size of the latest offset and the slip rate of 0.27–0.48 mm/yr. These results indicate that the strike-slip continuation of the Altyn Tagh Fault dominates the slip behaviour of the JTF. The small strike-slip rate, and the match between the strike-slip of the JTF and the vertical slip of the North-South Normal Faults (NSF) at its eastern end, permit the interpretation that the slip of Altyn Tagh Fault is completely accommodated by crustal extension at the NSF, and dies out at the eastern end of the Jinta Nanshan region. • The Jintan Nanshan Fault exhibits left-lateral slip at a rate of 0.27–0.48 mm/yr. • The latest earthquake on JTF is the 756 CE Zhangye-Jiuquan earthquake. • The Altyn Tagh Fault terminates at eastern end of the Jinta Nanshan. • Both the Altyn Tagh Fault and the Qilian fold-and-thrust belt contribute to the kinematics of the Jinta Nanshan.
