У статті проаналізовано останки людей, похованих у с. Ратнів у XIV–XV ст. Проведено порівняльний аналіз морфологічних комплексів даної вибірки переважно з населенням Східної Європи XVI–XX ст. Визначено, що, згідно із даними краніометрії, простежується зв’язок чоловічої досліджуваної вибірки із такими групами, як Луцьк і Батурин. Жіноча група із Ратнева, за даними краніометрії, статистично близька до серії Середнього Подніпров’я – Жовнино. За дискретно-варіюючими ознаками, у яких чоловіки та жінки розглядалися разом, специфічними для досліджуваної вибірки виявилися порівняно низькі частоти надорбітних отворів, що вказує на західний вектор зв’язків цієї групи людей. In the article, buried in the village of Ratniv in XIV–XV centuries remains of people have been analyzed. The contrastive analysis of the given group’s morphological complexes has been conducted mainly with the population of XVI–XX cent. Europe. It has been denoted that after craniometrical data the connection between studied male sample and such groups as Lutsk and Baturyn can be seen. According to the craniometrical data female group from Ratniv is statistically close to the series of Middle Dnieper – Zhovnyno. After discrete-varying features when male and females have been examined together, specific for the studied sample have appeared relatively low frequencies of orbital holes that indicates on the western vector of connections of the given group of people.
