V diplomskem delu smo predstavili pomen vremena in posameznih meteoroloških spremenljivk ter načine, kako jih pridobivamo. Osredotočili smo se tudi na pomen zgodovinskih vremenskih podatkov, katerih prikaz je osrednja tema in povod za njihovo vizualizacijo. Med drugim bomo spoznali tehnologije, s pomočjo katerih smo izvedli vizualizacijo vremenskih podatkov. Osrednji del diplomskega dela je bila spletna aplikacija, ki smo jo zasnovali za vizualizacijo vremenskih podatkov za področje Slovenije. The diploma thesis presents the importance of weather and individual meteorological variables and the techniques in which they are obtained. We also focused on the importance of historical weather data, the display of which is the central theme and the reason for their visualization. Among others, we present the technologies through which we have visualized weather data. The main part of the thesis is the web application that we designed for the visualization of weather data for Slovenia.
