The application value of broken rice as a rich by-product in rice industry cannot be ignored. In this paper, Na 2 CO 3 was used as extraction solvent and NaOH solution was used for control treatment to obtain broken rice protein (BRP) with high yield and good functional properties. Based on single-factor experiments, Response Surface methodology was used to determine the influence of the concentration of NaOH or Na 2 CO 3 , material-liquid ratio, and extraction time on the extraction rate of BRP. The maximum protein extraction yields were reached at 78.62% and 72.26% under the best extraction conditions of NaOH (0.08 mol/L, 1:13 g/mL and 3.0 h) and Na 2 CO 3 (0.08 mol/L, 1:18 g/mL and 3.0 h). SDS-PAGE, FT-IR and DSC showed that changes in influencing factors during optimization process had different effects on BRP. There are significant differences in amino acid content of BRP, the content of essential amino acids in BRP obtained from the Na 2 CO 3 group was higher. In addition, different extraction parameters had different influences on functional properties of BRP. This study provides new technical guidance for the development and utilization of rice by-product - broken rice to improve the protein extraction rate of broken rice in the industry. Object detection and image classification are basic tasks in computer vision. In this paper, we introduce fault detection towards transmission line. Traditional fault detection methods in the transmission line are prone to be affected by the noise and transient magnitude. To overcome these limitations, we propose a novel fault zone detection method, where quality-aware fine-grained categorization model is well encoded for category cues discovery. The goal of our approach is to recognize the most discriminative image patches for classification. The key techniques of our method include quality-based discriminative feature extraction and wavelet-support vector machine. We extract the features of the line currents by leveraging Fast R-CNN based image samples decomposition, where quality module is utilized to choose the most discriminative regions. Afterwards, the extracted features are fed into a SVM to recognize the fault. We conduct comprehensive experiment on transmission line fault identification to verify the availability and superiority of our proposed method. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

[Display omitted] • A series of 7-azaindole-based PI3K inhibitors with enhanced CDK2 inhibition were developed for the discovery of anti-TNBC drug candidates. • SAR studies identified FD2056 as a novel potent PI3K inhibitor with enhanced CDK2 inhibition. • In vitro and in vivo studies validate its anti-TNBC efficacy. • FD2056 could serve as a lead compound for the development of PI3K/CDK2 dual inhibitor. Blocking the PI3K pathway has been recognized as a promising strategy for cancer therapy. Herein, we report the discovery of novel PI3K inhibitors utilizing 7-azaindole-based fragment-oriented growth. Among them, compound FD2056 stands out as the most promising candidate, maintaining potent inhibitory activity against PI3K and enhanced CDK2 inhibition, and showing moderate selectivity among 108 kinases. In cellular assays, the inhibitor FD2056 demonstrated superior anti-proliferative profiles over reference compounds against TNBC cells and significantly increased apoptosis of MDA-MB-231 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Moreover, FD2056 showed more efficacious anti-TNBC activity than the corresponding drugs BKM120 and CYC202 at an oral dose of 15 mg/kg in the MDA-MB-231 xenograft model, inhibiting tumor growth by 43% with no observable toxic effects. All these results suggest that FD2056 has potential for further development as a promising anticancr compound, and co-targeting PI3K and CDK2 pathways may provide an alternative therapeutic strategy for the treatment of TNBC. China is continually seeking to improve river water quality. Implemented in 1996, the total pollutant load control system (TPLCS) is a regulatory strategy to reduce total pollutant loads, under which a Pollutant Discharge Permit (PDP) program tracks and regulates nutrient inputs from point source polluters. While this has been promising, the input-response relationship between discharge permits and water quality targets is largely unclear – especially in China's large and complex river basins. In response, this study involved a quantitative analysis method to combine the water quality targets of the 12 th Five-Year Plan (2011–2015) with allocated PDPs in the Nenjiang River Basin, China. We demonstrated our approach by applying the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) to the Nenjiang River Basin for hydrological and water quality simulation. Ammonia nitrogen (NH 3 -N) was used as the primary water quality indicator. Modelling indicated that only one control section in the wider river basin did not achieve the water quality target, suggesting that the TPLCS is largely effective. The framework should be applied in other basins to study the effectiveness of PDP policies, advise further updates to the TPLCS, and ultimately aim to achieve freshwater quality targets nationally. • Pollutant Discharge Permits Program and water quality targets were coupled. • The effectiveness of the Pollutant Discharge Permit Program was evaluated. • R 2 values showed good performance of SWAT model in the Nenjiang River Basin. • Only one out of nine control sections did not achieve water quality targets. • Results suggest that the total pollutant load control system is largely effective.
