Data Acquisition systems for measurements of maximum accuracy require the use of specialized devices like high sampling rate ADCs. As a general purpose solution for high accuracy Data Acquisition, we have developed a software framework in LabVIEW, in order to utilize high sampling rate oscilloscopes, for the digitization of fast signals, monitoring of the acquisition and data recording. In this work, we describe the developed software framework and discuss two applications that employ the developed DAQ system: the study and calibration of photomultipliers and the study of the response of large scintillator counters for the detection of Extended Atmospheric Showers.
