Abstract

The article proposes strategies to enhance the implementation of emergency department (ED)-based antibiotic stewardship programs (ASPs). These include collaboration and engagement among key stakeholders in pediatric, genera, and community EDs, dissemination of best clinical practices, and use of effort-independent mechanisms.
