This article discusses on the environmental performance of the Czech Republic. According to a 2006 report from the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy, the Czech Republic ranks 4th among 133 countries in terms of its environmental performance. The report was presented at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on February 2006. Moreover, the report establishes a new Environmental Performance Index and has triggered a serious discussion of environmental quality in the Czech Republic.
