Abstract

A study of the synthesis and characterization of the first mononuclear diazoalkane complexes of osmium is presented. The results show that the reaction of OsH2P4 with methyl triflate proceeds with the evolution of CH4 (by NMR) and probable formation of OsH(n(super 1)-OSO2CF3)P4.
