Abstract

The preparation of cyclic alkenyl boronic half acids from vinyl and propenyl boronic esters and homoallylic alcohols by ring-closing metathesis is described. The cyclic alkenyl boronic acids have participated in Suzuki-Miyuara coupling reactions.
