In total, 1422 patients were enrolled from CEE: Romania (RO) n=406, Poland (PL) n=356, Serbia (SB) n=250, Bulgaria (BG) n=210 and Slovakia (SK) n=200. Even if 20.6% (134) cases had diagnosis of lung disorder (37-asthma, 21-COPD, 5-emphysema, 71-bronchitis) only 52 had treated their disease and 24 had performed spirometry in the last 6 months. The relationship between lipids and right ventricle (RV) is known but not fully understood. B RESULTS: b The thickness of the RV heart wall (p=0.03), the basal medium axis dimension (diameters) of RV (p=0.04), medium systolic pulmonary artery (PA) pressure (mSPAP) (p=0.0008), TG (p=0.0004), VLDL/HDLc ratio (p=0.004), HDLc/TC ratio (p=0.008) and RRS (p=0.0006) were statistically significant higher in study group versus controls.
