Abstract

The article reports on the link of increased exposure to particulate matter air pollution measured with personal, residential or central site monitoring with pulmonary function decrements in either adults with COPD or children with asthma. There is a consistent decrements in maximal midexpiratory flow in children with asthma who were not receiving medications.
