The article reports that the American Board on Counseling Services, which evaluates the standards and practices of agencies or individuals offering counseling services and determines whether they are qualified to provide professional counseling, could not perform its evaluative function without the help of field observers. These observers, appointed by the Board, visit the agency and obtain factual information about the agency's practices. Field observers donate their services without pay. The Board is indebted to the several consultants for performing this important service from September 1, 1962, to February 29, 1964. Names of these consultants include James F. Adams, William H. Atkins, John J. Brennan, Louis J. Cantoni, John P. Cummer, Earl C. Davis, Donald J. Diffenbaugh, Daniel D. Feder, Raymond F. Gale, Stanford H. Glazer, Wallace Gobetz, Leo Goldman, Herbert J. Hauer, Joseph W. Hollis, Abraham Jacobs, Leona Wise Jones, Ralph Korklin, Saul S. Leshner, Harold J. Mahoney, G. Harold Massey, and Charles N. Morris.
