An investigation on the dynamic response of a Skybridge Connected Building (SCB) under lateral loads was conducted in aide of a finite element software SAP2000. The software was used along with wind, response spectrum and time history input based on Eurocode 1 Part 1-4, Eurocode 8 and El Centro Earthquake data respectively. Separate models with slightly varying building configuration were created in SAP2000 and the peak nodal displacements and accelerations trends were analysed. It is found out that major factors that govern the response is the exposed surface area for wind, building total height for earthquake, and the distance between the bridge to the source of load. The observations indicated that the location of the bridge in regard to the nodes and antinodes of the structure's vibration has an effect on the nodal displacement and acceleration which can be studied and to develop a further understanding.
