In a more specific case, the Free Water Flow (FWF) turbine is very promising in terms of its development concept, which mimics the phenomenon of the ability to swim swan's feet. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to further study the FWF turbine in terms of (1) its current capabilities in actual application in irrigation canals and (2) determine the direction of its development in the future by maximizing existing resources. The experimental research method is carried out through the stages of the process which include (1) development plan and design of water turbines according to irrigation channels, (2) design and implementation of Hydro's Agriculture-Friendly Turbines. The construction was built in the watercress farming area of Sumbergelang, Sumberdem, Wonosari, Malang Regency. Findings from this study reveal a significant correlation between the utilization of parallel turbine in irrigation canal and cost efficiency and improved output energy. Apart from sunlight, light sources can also be obtained from lighting (UV) by utilizing potential energy sources in rice fields (irrigation) through energy harvesting from an FWF Turbine. This research contributes valuable insights to the ongoing development of parallel turbine in agricultural area for support sustainable agriculture. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
