Rolling bearings play a pivotal role in various machinery and mechanical systems. Rolling bearings are precise components that reduce friction loss by converting the sliding friction of shafting components into rolling friction. The prediction of fatigue life in rolling bearings is a critical aspect of ensuring their long-term performance and minimizing unexpected failures. This paper reviews and discusses recent advancements in fatigue life prediction methods for rolling bearings, focusing on both analytical and numerical approaches. Then introduce a comprehensive fatigue life prediction method for rolling bearings, integrating advanced analytical and computational approaches. The proposed method incorporates factors such as actual working condition, material properties, load spectra, lubrication conditions, and geometric features to offer a more accurate and reliable estimation of fatigue life. This research contributes to the evolving field of bearing technology by providing a holistic approach to fatigue life prediction, advancing understanding of the intricate interactions that influence bearing durability.
