The article reports on the American Library Association's (ALA) Annual Conference, which was held June 22-28, 2006, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The article focuses on a debate at the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) President's Program, which was attended by more than 650 participants of the ALA conference. The debate focused on programs that seek to improve academic library user's information literacy.
