The article presents information on the report based on the analysis of data from the organization Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (U.S.) regarding the high blood cholesterol prevalence and cholesterol screening among adults during the period in 2005, 2007, and 2009 in the U.S. It mentions the increase at the high blood pressure cholesterol screening by 76 percent from 72.7 percent in the 2009 in comparison to 2005 among adults. It highlights the methodology involving the questionnaires consisting of blood cholesterol check up, last blood check up, and high level of cholesterol report among the noninstitutionalized adults aged above 18.
