Abstract

Ship observations from 1982 to 1991 aided in formulating new regional correlations between wet tropospheric range correction h for radar altimeter and precipitable water (W) over the Indian Ocean. This proposed regional correlational model can be of immense utility, when incorporated with satellite-borne altimeter data, in assessing various oceanographic phenomena.
