Abstract

The author comments on an editorial in the "Journal of Developmental Education," entitled "We’ve Lost Our Focus," by Peter Adams. He says that Adam's paper implies that U.S. community colleges' remedial courses are less effective than those offered at four-year institutions. He says that faculty should to conduct, evaluate and support developmental education efforts.
