Compares two carbon budget estimates derived from long-term growth rates of organic soil and on shorter-term flux measurements, taken from research studies conducted in a wetland-peatland system in the northern Hudson Bay Lowland near the town of Churchill, Manitoba. Annual carbon budget of fen and forest; Average annual carbon budget of fen and forest; Net carbon fluxes from the fen for the detailed study period and their accompanying environmental energy and water budget parameters.
