Abstract: The article reports that a refuse worker who memorised eye chart to obtain a large goods vehicle (LGV) licence has ran over a colleague with a 26-tonne refuse lorry. Appearing at Bristol Crown Court in England on October 12, 2009, the 52-year-old William Sego pleaded guilty to careless driving and making a false statement. Due to the loss of sight in his right eye, Sego is disqualified from holding an LGV licence.
