Compared with conventional activated sludge system, applied magnetic field or adding magnetic materials in activated sludge system exhibits a better performance of enzyme activity, sludge settling, microbial activity. It also shows an obvious influence on bacterial activity, dissolved oxygen and pollution loadings. Even more, the removal efficiency of organic pollutions, N and P in this system shows an obvious increase. The biomagnetic effect is a promising technology in wastewater treatment.

For the sake of the shortage of phosphorus resources and the present situation of municipal sludge treatment and disposal, the necessity of recovery of phosphorus from municipal sludge is analyzed, whereas the methods of phosphorus releasing from solid phase to liquid phase in sewage sludge, such as anaerobic digestion, ozone oxidation, heat treatment, ultrasonic dissolution and alkaline hydrolysis, were discussed in this paper. And then the theories and methods of phosphorus recovering from sewage sludge were summarized, including chemical precipitation, adsorption desorption, burning heat treatment and nanofiltration. Finally, the research development and application prospects of phosphorus release recovery technology from sewage sludge were also proposed. Introduction According to statistics, phosphate has been listed as China in 2010 after the national economy, cannot meet the needs of the development of one of the 20 minerals. This paper summarizes the research status of phosphorus recovery and utilization in sludge, and prospects the research, development and application prospect of phosphorus release and recovery technology in sludge. EDCs in water accumulated in human and other organism to a certain extent would harmfully interfere the normal functioning of the nervous system, immune system and endocrine system. This paper reviewed the existing form of EDCs, the harmfulness of EDCs, the detection methods and treating methods for EDCs in water environment. In view of the current situation of EDCs pollution in the water body, the specific measures for the future treatment of EDCs were established.

Denitrifying phosphorus removal process is to complete domestication and enrichment of denitrifying phosphate-accumulating organisms by using anaerobic/anoxic alternate environment instead of the traditional anaerobic/aerobic environment. Then, nitrogen and phosphorus can be removed simultaneously at the same stage. This paper mainly described the mechanism of denitrifying phosphorus removal, simply introduced the denitrifying phosphorus removal process, and discussed the influencing factors of denitrifying phosphorus removal process and the prospect of its development.

Water resources in Chinese rural areas were becoming precious because of the polluted water environment. In this paper, the status of rural areas in China has been reviewed. The typical pollutants in rural raw water bodies were different from urban raw water bodies. In rural water environment, organic matters and ammonia nitrogen concentration were high, heavy metal and other toxic pollutants were low. Enhanced coagulation, enhanced filtration, adsorption, biological oxidation and membranes were the main treating methods. The biological oxidation and membranes technology combination was prospected in future rural slightly polluted raw water treatment.

In order to reveal the influence of reaction conditions on the phosphorus crystallization to recover phosphorus from wastewater with low P concentration, an alternate A/O biofiltration system for simulated domestic wastewater treatment was carried out and the effluent from anaerobic filter was considered as the reaction liquid for P crystallizatio n, as well as the influences of phosphorus by beginning phosphorus concentration, pH, Mg/P molar ratio and reaction time on the MAP crystallization and P removal were test systemlly. The results showed that the pH is the main influence factor on the crystallization time, and the higher pH value, the shorter crystallization time. Under the condition of the low P concentration, the key factor of the crystallization phosphorus removal rate is the Mg/P. Improve the Mg/P molar ratio mghit increase the phosphorus removal rate greatly.In addation, when the Mg/P molar ratio is 1:1 and the reaction time is 10 minutes, the lowest crystallization concentration is 18mg/L.

In this paper, a review on the mechanism of denitrifying phosphorus removal and the enrichment of denitrifying phosphorus-accumulating organisms in the process of nitrogen and phosphorus removal, such as A 2 /O and SBR, were presented, as well as the influence factors of enrichment were also carried out. And finally, the outlook of denitrifying phosphorus removal process for future research was suggested. Conventional biological treatment process can effectively reduce BOD5 and SS of inflow, but the removal efficiencies of nitrogen and phosphorus in wastewater are not effective, which cause that a large amount of sewage containing nitrogen and phosphorus directly discharge into water body. Therefore, the nitrogen and phosphorus pollution is the primary cause for water entrophication. Although the government put forward more and more strictly requirements for sewage discharge, it is difficult to remove nitrogen and phosphorus efficiently for the conventional nitrogen and phosphorus removal process, because of various reasons, such as carbon-nitrogen ratio in the city sewage. So it is necessary to develop more stable, economical and efficient process for nitrogen and phosphorus removal. Denitrifying phosphorus removal process is to complete domestication and enrichment of denitrifying phosphate-accumulating organisms (DNPAOs) by using anaerobic/anoxic alternate environment instead of the traditional anaerobic/aerobic environment. DNPAOs can use NO3 - as electron acceptor in denitrifying phosphorus removal system, meanwhile through their metabolism complete excess phosphorus uptake and denitrification process at the same time to achieve the dual purpose of nitrogen and phosphorus removal. Application of denitrifying phosphorus removal process for treatment of municipal wastewater can not only save aeration quantity, but also reduce the amount of residual sludge. And it also can cut down investment and operation costs. In recent years, many scholars did a number of researches on denitrifying phosphorus removal technology. Due to the varying techniques, enrichment mode and denitrifying phosphorus removal degree, the conclusion was not entirely consistent.

This paper reviews the status and progress of biological denitrification and phosphorus removal. The mechanism of denitrificati on and phosphorus removal is analyzed briefly, and the characteristic of some denitrification and phosphorus removal process is also compared. The new process and new technology which is not high popularity are introduced. Finally, the outlook of the future research is put forward in the paper.

Recently, researches and applications of denitrifying and phosphorus accumulating organisms (DPAOs) in treating eutrophic water are becoming more and more extensive. Treatment technologies with DPAOs are SBR、AO、AO、A/O/A etc. and they all have their own pros and cons, respectively. According to the latest research findings on denitrifying dephosphatation in SBR system, the mechanisms and operating effect are summarized. Researches of granular sludge in processes of denitrifying dephosphatation are also discussed to provide novel ideas for developing of conventional biological denitrification and phosphorus removal.
