The applications of redundant manipulator are more and more widely in the automobile manufacturing industry and aerospace fields. In this paper, the omnidirectional joint unit mechanism is improved and redundant snake-like manipulator of full range PYR series is designed. The composition, working principle, performance index and the joint improved structure of PY (PYR) singular omnidirectional joint are introduced. The formulas of improved PYR type joint also are given. The same as, two types of joint design are combined into a 11 degree of freedom 5 joint robot arm which using slider crank mechanism to solve the pitch and yaw motion coupling problem.

Test flight results show that, the induced drag reduces 15% that the plane tototal resistance will decrease 6.5% and the range will increase 7.5%. At present, new research and development aircraft, such as the Boeing787 "dream" aircraft and some airliners are in operation (Airbus A330, A340, Boeing737-800ER) and so on, have adopted the winglet. The drag reduction effect of winglet has been obviously. Because the drag reduction effect of winglet are restricted by many factors, such as the inclination angle, installation angle, winglets airfoil, winglet height, alula area and root tip ratio and so on. So winglet drag reduction effect in different plane are not the same which can be seen from the domestic and foreign literature. A winglet with more ideal drag reduction effect is an actively explore the topic for the global aircraft designers in recent years. In this paper, the large number of documents and materials on home and abroad are referenced. And the winglet is designed by universal CFD numerical simulation calculation method to increase the drag reduction effect.

In the flight of hypersonic near space vehicle from 60km up to 100km high, the influence of real gas effect, rarefied gas effect, and Mach number effect cannot be simulated completely by the ground test. In this paper, the selection of computational model is introduced, and then carried out the numerical research on slip flow field characteristics coupling with chemical-equilibrium effect under large Mach number of high altitude.

Visual inspection is a very important part of the flight, also is the basic skills possessed by the pilot. This paper introduces the concept of visual inspection, summarizes the basic methods of visual inspection and development and research status of eye-tracking test technology at home and abroad, points out the eye movement technology in the application of testing visual inspection skill and directing flight training. Combining with the flight example, the method of visual flight is illustrated and effect of eye movement technology on improving flight training is demonstrated.

Flow control technique is an important research field of aerodynamics. Flow control technique uses the interactions of fluid hydrodynamic to control and amplify the flow signal by changing the local flow. As far as possible to optimize the flow field distribution, increase the lift, reduce the drag and effectively improve the lift drag ratio, are also the important research subjects in aircraft design. As the requirements of plane design performance improving constantly, the fluid flow control becomes more and more important, and shows the irreplaceable role. In this paper the passive flow control method and active flow control method with applications to increasing lift and reducing drag are introduced in detail. The conclusion is active flow control’s effect is more obvious compared by the passive flow control means. The working keys and directions are put forward in the paper.
