This article reports on the results of the United Nations (UN) Climate Change Conference held in Cancun, Mexico from November 29 to December 11, 2010. An agreement which was supported by over 190 countries was approved which calls for the establishment of a Green Climate Fund in which 37 developed countries will offer 100 billion U.S. dollars annually to help developing countries cope with climate change. It notes that the Cancun conference has revised the weakened trust among nations in the wake of the Copenhagen climate change conference in 2009.
