El objetivo de este artículo fue analizar los principales elementos de la imagen proyectada de los resorts brasileños en Instagram, como forma de identificar los aspectos más significativos de las acciones promocionales. Esta investigación adoptó el abordaje cuantitativo, con objetivos exploratorios y descriptivos, teniendo como procedimientos, la revisión bibliográfica y el análisis documental en base a la replicación de los estudios de Donaire & Galí (2011). Para analizar las fotografías se utilizó una descripción iconográfica con la interpretación iconológica de Kossoy (2014). Los resultados evidenciaron patrones temáticos y estéticos para los elementos necesarios para la comunicación de los resorts en las redes sociales, indicando por ejemplo que el sentido estético puede ser tan relevante como el equipamiento turístico en sí. En este sentido, el significado que los usuarios atribuyen a los resorts es construido colectivamente de maneras diferentes. Este estudio eligió el contexto de los resorts brasileños para el debate teórico en función de la profundización de las formas por las cuales ellos son representados en la plataforma Instagram, infiriendo el punto de vista de los usuarios a través del nivel de compromiso de las fotografías. Así, se describieron sus elementos y las especificidades y se identificó el uso social en medio de la plataforma como forma de proporcionar nuevas perspectivas a la literatura. Las implicaciones incluyen la profundización de los conceptos y las perspectivas complementarias para investigaciones futuras. The aim of this article was to analyze the main elements of the projected image of brazilian resorts on Instagram, as a way to identify the most significant aspects of promotional actions. This research adopted the quantitative approach, with exploratory and descriptive objectives, having as procedures, the literature review and the documentary analysis based on the replication of the studies of Donaire and Galí (2011). To analyze the photographs, an iconographic description with an iconological interpretation of Kossoy (2014) was used. The results showed thematic and aesthetic standards for the elements necessary for the communication of the resorts in social media, indicating, for example, that the aesthetic sense can be as relevant as the tourist equipment itself, in this sense, the meaning that the users attribute to the resorts is constructed collectively in different ways. This study has chosen the context of the brazilian resorts for the theoretical debate due to the deepening of the forms by which they are represented on the Instagram platform, inferring the users' point of view through the level of engagement of the photographs, thus, their elements and specificities were described and their social use were identified within platform as a way to provide new contours to the literature. Implications include the deepening the concepts and complementary perspectives for future research.

El desempeño de los canales de distribución está ligado a diversos factores potenciales previamente analizados por la empresa. A partir del estudio de mercado es preciso elegir el canal adecuado para la empresa evaluando las circunstancias en torno al producto y el mercado, una decisión que requiere una planificación eficaz en relación a la llegada del producto al cliente. El sector de restaurantes enfrenta innumerables desafíos como la competitividad implacable y las innovaciones en la tecnología de la información y comunicación (TIC), que provocan que los clientes sean cada vez más exigentes. Los restaurantes pueden utilizar más de un canal de distribución para llegar a los consumidores, atendiendo las diferentes fases de necesidades de los clientes y obteniendo ventajas competitivas. En este contexto el objetivo de esta investigación es analizar las estrategias establecidas por los restaurantes en cuanto a los canales de distribución utilizados para atraer clientes al destino turístico Balneário Camboriú/SC, Brasil. La metodología utilizada fue exploratorio-descriptiva con un abordaje cuantitativo. De un universo de 162 restaurantes se obtuvieron 110 cuestionarios válidos, enfocados en identificar las siguientes estrategias: canales directos, canales indirectos, canales de gestión y uso de los medios sociales. Los datos fueron tratados estadísticamente y las medias de las variables fueron presentadas en gráficos de línea y gráficos IPA. Los resultados indican que los canales de gestión y los canales directos poseen mayores atribuciones dadas en cuanto a la importancia e implementación para los entrevistados. The performance of the distribution channels is linked to several potential factors that the company has previously analyzed. This market research helps identifying the right channel for the company by evaluating the circumstances surrounding the product and the market. The choice of the channel must effectively plan the delivery of the product to the customer. The restaurant industry faces many challenges such as fierce competition, innovations in information and communication technology (ICT) and increasingly demanding customers. Restaurants can use multiple distribution channels to reach consumers, targeting the different stages of the buying process, and gaining competitive advantage. In this context, the objective of this research is to analyze the strategies of restaurants regarding the distribution channels used to attract the customers in the tourist destination Balneário Camboriú / SC, Brazil. An exploratory and descriptive study was conducted with a quantitative approach. From a population of 162 restaurants, we obtained 110 valid questionnaires, aimed at identifying the following strategies: direct channels, indirect channels, management channels, and use of social media. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze data and variable means are presented in line charts and IPA grids. The results indicate that the management channels and the direct channels are ranked the highest on importance and implementation by the respondents.
