Objective To explore the prevalence of osteoporosis and related factors after treatment of breast cancer. Methods Clinical data of 147 patients with breast cancer after treatment and menopause were collected and analyzed. Bone mineral density(BMD) of the lumbar spine, the left femoral neck, and total hip was detected using dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry. Breast cancer receptors(ER, PR,HER-2), age, BMI,menopause time, postoperative time, and treatment method were analyzed. Results The prevalence of osteoporosis after treatment in 147 patients with breast cancer was 40. 8%. Univariate analysis showed that age, BMI, menopause time, treatment(endocrine therapy + chemotherapy),postoperative time were significantly correlated with the decrease of BMD(P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, BMI and postoperative time were the main influencing factors of BMD reduction(P<0. 05). Conclusion The prevalence of osteoporosis is high in breast cancer patients. Many factors in breast cancer treatment can reduce BMD. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
