Abstract

A biography of American judge W. Terry Ruckriegle, president of the Colorado Bar Association (CBA) for the 2013 term, is presented. Ruckriegle was born and raised in Indiana, where he studied law before teaching in Iran and beginning to practice law in Colorado. He is married with three children. Issues Ruckriegle has faced on the bench include media presence in court cases, including a case involving basketball star Kobe Bryant. His aptitude for the position of CBA president is discussed.
