Due to actions of governments, public and private organizations having the scope diminishing the population concerns regarding food quality, the food safety and security has been started to represent basic conditions for international trade. In order to fulfill those requirements, all actors across the food supply chain must implement a system capable to track and trace any particular unit located within the food supply chain. This paper will present the main aspects regarding food traceability standards, food traceability systems and the risk management. Conclusions and future directions of the research are discussed. The business environment is becoming more and more complex and has started to be knowledge oriented, therefore the organizations are focused on adding value to different data, information and knowledge gathered from their beginning to current days. In recent years, Organizational Memory (OM) has been recognized as one of the most prominent concept for establishing value to organizations and it is perceived within a unified framework of the two concepts of Knowledge Management (KM) and Organizational Learning (OL). This paper presents main concepts and characteristics of organizational knowledge and organizational learning and proposes general architecture for organizational learning system. The goal of this research is to propose a conceptual model of organizational learning system which should be able to identify, extract or create and present useful resources (data, information and knowledge) from organizational memory in order to facilitate the organizational learning process. This paper has as objective the reduction of the necessary time that needs to be allocated to the preventive and corrective maintenance activities, through adequate optimization of the spare parts stock administration. This is also allowed by the "failures" type and moment appearance recognition, by their history that stands on the base of the predictive maintenance concept and activities. Both, finally leads to the adequate rising of the technological equipments life cycle cost. Using the stocking model calculation methodology with gradually provision, when no absence in stock may be accepted, the authors had determined the spare parts quantity necessary to the equipments restoring in operation, the spare parts being manufactured just in the same company, fact that makes possible their gradually provision. Also, one was determined the necessary maximum spare parts stock level, as well as, the time interval between two consecutive starts of the production, using equipments restored in operation behind the corrective maintenance activities.
