Constructing the principle of mental health education in colleges and universities under the back- ground of integrating ideological and political education in professional courses is helpful to realize the educational goal of educating people for the Party and the country, to cultivate new people that undertake the task of national rejuvenation, and to provide practical criteria for the effective combination of moral education and psychological education. To this end, we should create a model with educational objects, educational content, educational methods, and educational approaches as the category: build up the ideological position of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude based on the educational object; to construct a teaching mode based on educational con- tent; integrate multi-party resources with educational methods as a link; and taking educational approaches as channels to improve the effectiveness of new education.
