Rally in technological stocks like that of Cisco Systems and Dell Computer lead to signs of building a rebound potential in the market. It is believed that the indicators are coming together for some short-term extreme in anxiety that could turn into another tradable rally.

Apple Inc . surprised investors after it reported third quarter 2010 earnings of $4.64 a share, exceeding consensus estimates. It also made product announcements related to the Mac , while chief executive Steve Jobs emphasized the superiority of the iPhone to the BlackBerry and Android.

The Premium-priced shares of Network Appliance, gained first week of August when the company warned that its sales had fallen short of expectations for its fiscal quarter that ended in July 2005. The shortfall resulted from NetApp's own disruptive technology such as a midrange offering introduced in May, called the FAS3000 series.

Apple Computer is anticipating a continued boom in iPod sales, a move that could boost revenue and earnings by 2007. However, with growing competition from 3G cellphone music services, the demand for the company's best-selling product is likely to decrease.

They had a disappointing sell-through or the actual number of phones by the public which stood at 408,000. GameStop's revenues and revenue projections and the prospects of Advanced Micro Devices' share are also discussed.

Dell's revenue increased 16% in the fourth quarter of 2009 to $14.9 billion which is above expectations. However, their gross margin slid to 16.6% which they blamed on a mix shift in the holiday season toward the consumer sector.

The iPhone and the Mac remain the keys for Apple's continued earnings growth, with the iPhone to account for more than 50% of it. The company's shares remain rated as Outperform and prices are projected to rise from $199 to $150 a share. The Apple iPad is projected to sell up to five million units.

Acer's shares have doubled to 82 Taiwan new dollars and any setback should be seen as an opportunity to buy. Acer could topple HP as the World's biggest PC maker as their sales rise at 16.6% which is more than twice that of HP.

Dell reported $12.9 billion in revenues, below consensus estimates of $13.2 billion and indicating that businesses are not ready to purchase personal computers. The US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation heavily criticized the Internet phenomenon of post-transaction marketing in a report.

Intuit and Hewlett-Pa ckard reported July 2009-quarter results that are slightly better than expected. Intuit CEO Brad Smith expects a slow, modest recovery while NetApp CFO Steve Gomo says that recovery will be real but slower than people anticipate.

Apple Inc's retail stores are enjoying strong foot traffic but their same-store revenues slid 17.4 percent in the December 2008 quarter from the previous year. It is estimated that Apple's retail stores are rang up sales of $4,600 per square foot in 2008 which is the highest among U.S. retail chains.

Dell's gross margin line for the third quarter has increased to 18.8 percent from 17.2 percent in the second quarter as a demonstration of Michael Dell's cost-cutting prowess after returning to the head of the company. The shares of Yahoo! fell below $9 which could make Microsoft Steve Ballmer change his mind about acquiring Yahoo!.

The shares of Silicon Graphics Inc. trades at a tempting value of one-third its trailing sales but the company had a net loss of $153 million on sales of $354 million in the fiscal year that ended in June 2008. Furthermore, the company only has a 2 percent share in high-performance computers.

The iPhone, despite its superior functionality, suffers from its low battery life, unlike the BlackBerry which has a much longer battery life. Dell reported revenues of $16.4 billion, $500 million higher than the consensus, but suffered a decline in gross margins to 17.2%.

Hewlett-Packard's shares rose more than 5 percent compared to Salesforce.com's shares which fell 18 percent on the same night. This happened despite Salesforce.com's revenue growth of 31 percent versus Hewlett-Packard's 5 to 6 percent annual growth rate. Garmin's shares have a price target of 38 and a rating of Market Perform but competition from smartphones is the greatest concern.

Research in Motion warned that its second-quarter 2008 profits might be lighter than expected while Palm reported disappointing revenues. Nokia's shares looks like the bargain of a lifetime if the long-term power of mobile Internet is to be believed. Nokia's move to seize control of Symbian puts it squarely against Google and should allow Nokia to make timely changes to their user-interface.
