The article reports that some doctors are no longer offering injected drugs to their patients because the medications are too expensive. The move is a response to a change in Medicare reimbursement rules that calculate drug prices according to the discounts large customers receive, making the reimbursements received by small offices too little to cover their costs. Medicare recipients now have to go to hospitals to receive their injections.
