- Abstract
Our study includes epitaphs and architectural plastics related to the Turkish Era artifacts that take place in UĢak Archeological Museum. UĢak underwent various wars and fires in different dates, some monuments fell into ruins or completely disappeared due to these negative conditions. The epitaphs and artifacts belonging to architectural plastics that we try to introduce do not stand still today. Disappearance of the texture of the historical city gradually, pulling down various artifacts under the name of urbanization or repair or providing the artifacts a new identity as materials and forms in central UĢak are the worst applications of the recent years. Introducing epitaphs and architectural plastics belonging to the artifacts that disappear by the effects of wars, fires and time will bring these artifacts, which stood still with all their glory once upon a time, into life again. In this respect the transcriptions of the epitaphs are provided and which artifacts they belong to have been determined, they are promoted with works of art, drawings and photographs.
