Enrico Berti, a renowned expert in ancient philosophy and one of the most important Aristotelians of the 20th century, passed away in January 2022 in Padua. Born in Valeggio sul Mincio, he studied philosophy at the University of Padua and was a professor at several Italian universities. Berti received numerous awards and distinctions for his outstanding work as a professor and researcher. His philosophical legacy is characterized by his systematic approach, his recovery of Aristotelian practical rationality, and his defense of a "humble metaphysics." His departure is an irreparable loss for the philosophical community. [Extracted from the article]
