13. Thermo-chemical analysis and modeling of combustion of waste pyrolysis gaseous products

Abstract

The results of the study of joint pyrolysis of various types of waste (municipal solid waste, plastic waste, etc.) are presented. Preliminarily crushed and dried wastes were fed into the pyrolysis chamber of the model experimental setup. Thermal energy required for heating raw materials and carrying out their thermal destruction was obtained by burning a part of the pyrolysis gases. The rest of these gases were removed from the pyrolysis chamber and cooled. The temperature in the pyrolysis zone was about 650 °C. Plant productivity was up to 500 kg/h. The target product was the liquid phase, which is a mixture of hydrocarbon compounds. When organizing the processes, the yield of solid carbon residue was minimized. The obtained mass ratio of the final gas/liquid products was approximately equal to 1/6. Experimental results of the analysis of the chemical composition of the gas and liquid fractions are presented. The results of modeling the combustion of pyrolysis products at different amounts of supplied air are also shown. The operating parameters at which the optimum temperature level in the pyrolysis zone is maintained are numerically determined and recommended.

Abstract

The problem of environmental noise pollution from large-city centralized heating systems is considered. Based on the analysis of acoustic characteristics and vibration parameters of district boiler house power plants, the main reasons for the generation of increased noise are identified. The relationship between the technical condition of the power equipment, buildings, structures and the noise level in the environment is revealed. The possibility of developing complexes of technical measures to reduce noise pollution adjacent to the district boiler houses of the city is shown. While optimizing the selected variants of noise and vibration dampening complexes, it seems promising to use a calculated model of the noise field.

Abstract

This article is devoted the problems of legal regulation of subsoil use in the coal industry as an example of legislation of the Russian Federation and the Kemerovo region. The concept of subsoil use, as well as the issues related to subsoil use in the coal industry are disclosed in the paper. The information about the valuation of subsoil plots containing reserves and mineral resources or possessing other utility is analyzed. The proposals on reforming the system of state regulation of subsoil use for the coal industry are given. These measures are aimed at ensuring effective use of subsoil and fair distribution of payments. The legal regulatory framework in this area was also analyzed by the authors.

Abstract

The increasing role of specialized prosecutor's offices on supervision of ecological and industrial (coal-mining) safety is considered in the article. The President of the Russian Federation approved a number of standards and legal documents confirming that the environmental problem had become a threat for national security of the state and society. Statistical data on inter-regional nature protection by prosecutor's office and prosecutor's office on supervision of obeying the laws in the coalmining industry are provided in the article. Specialized prosecutor's offices of the Kemerovo region actively participate in protection of the ecological rights and freedoms of citizens and the rights of employees of the coalmining enterprises for work in the conditions meeting the requirements of industrial safety. Special attention is paid to the supervision in the sphere of water, atmospheric air, forest exploitation, industrial and consumption waste legislations.

19. Analyzing the influence of the disk motion on longitudinal oscillations of a beam with rheological properties

Abstract

The paper gives the analysis of the influence of longitudinal oscillations of a beam, which is caused by a circular hard disk motion along the beam, on the mode of disk motion. The problem of rolling the disk on the plane in its various formulations has been investigated by different researchers as well as by the authors of this paper. The paper considers two variants of properties of the beam material: an elastic beam and a viscoelastic beam, which fits the Kelvin rheological model and has relaxation and creep properties. When solving the problem, the Fourier method is used as a method of separation of variables. When examining the beam, and assuming it as hereditary deformable, a rheological force of the reaction is introduced, this depends on both on longitudinal strains and on the rate of these strains The result is presented as functions of time which are adaptable for numerical integration. It is shown that oscillations of a rheological beam are produced by a moving disk and can be considered as self-oscillations.
