Molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) is a synthetic plastic antibody with molecular recognition function. It has the advantages of excellent selectivity, simple preparation, and low price so that it has shown good application prospects in biological analysis. This chapter introduces the principle of molecular imprinting technology and strategies for constructing different types of MIP composite materials. Then the role and application status of MIP composites in the field of biological analysis are summarized. Finally, the prospects for the future development of MIP composites in biological analysis are emphasized.
