This paper develops intelligent energy management in Microgrid using forecasting-based multi-objective optimization using genetic algorithm framework. In this work, the energy storage system is included in Microgrid network, which is essential for effective energy management and smooth power transfer. The developed model incorporates the forecasted values of solar PV and wind generation obtained using time series long short-term memory network for the next 24 h and provides the optimal values of battery and grid powers to meet the deficit of power to meet the demand in the Microgrid. The proposed model incorporates grid power consumption cost and battery degradation cost as the objectives with battery status and renewables utilization as the constraints of the optimization model. The fuzzy decision-making strategy obtains the compromise solution in the Pareto optimal front from multiple solutions. The proposed model is investigated with fixed and variable grid tariff conditions achieving efficient performance in energy management with optimal utilization of renewables, grid and battery in the system for 24 hours-time horizons. The system parameters in the Microgrid network are also investigated in the time horizon with the optimal values of proposed model. The proposed intelligent energy management system model is tested in 2.5 MW PV/wind/energy storage Microgrid system in MATLAB 2020 simulation platform and experimental setup of 1 kW grid connected Microgrid with solar PV and battery.

Internet of things (IoT) is an inventive technology which permit the association of physical things by means of the digital world throughout the use of heterogeneous networks and communication technologies. Ad-hoc routing protocols may be dispersed and involve every node in route discovery process by making routing data more reliable. Mobile-Adhoc-Networks (MANETs) consist of many portable nodes that can commune directly with each other or through intermediate nodes. Repeatedly, nodes in a MANETs operate with batteries and can roam freely, and thus, a node may exhaust its energy or move away without providing any notice to its cooperative nodes. IoT system using a combination of MANET, a route consists of numerous links in sequence, and so, its lifetime is based on the lifetime of every node and also the wireless links among adjacent nodes. In this research work Fuzzified Particle Swarm Optimization oriented Routing (FPSOR) algorithm is planned to minimize data loss and computational overhead, which in turn maximizes the lifetime of MANETs. Particle Swarm Optimization oriented Routing protocol (PSOR) have taken energy competence as significant criterion for processing routing and driving optimized path for the data accelerating and processing to the source node. The PSOR produces a fresh route for routing by considering fitness value of energy to evaluate diverse path and to choose best-optimized path whose energy consumption is less as compared to ant colony optimization routing paths. This algorithm utilizes a good approach focusing energy levels/status of the nodes through fuzzification and the lengths of the routed ways. NS2 simulator is casted for performance evaluation.

The natural fiber reinforced polymeric composites have found to be an excellent substitute for synthetic fiber based polymeric composites and are being widely utilized in several advanced engineering applications. The present experimental work deals with randomly oriented Indian mallow fiber/polyester (IMFP) composites which are fabricated by compression moulding method by varying the fiber wt. % from 10 to 50%. The prepared IMFP specimens were evaluated through various mechanical and thermal properties and the results showed that better properties were obtained in specimens with 50 wt. % fiber content. The optimum tensile strength and modulus was about 46 MPa and 3.56 GPa respectively, while the elongation at break was 1.39%. The optimum flexural and impact strength are estimated to be around 111 MPa and 14 kJ/m2 respectively. The heat deflection test (HDT) displayed that temperature withstands up to 84 °C at 50 wt. % of fiber content. The surface morphologies of the fractured composite specimens were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis. The overall results confirmed the suitability of the present specimens to be employed in various light weight applications.

The traditional load balancing some disadvantages are (1) reduction in the wait times, (2) Storing encrypted data in a location is difficult. To solve this issues proposed work introduced a Deep Load Balancer (DLB) use of cloud load balancing for storing the Internet of Things (IoT). The work analyzed the drawbacks of traditional load balancing algorithms and proposes the use of DLB as an improved approach for balancing the load of IoT devices in a cloud environment. Proposed DLB strategy is the process of following steps are (i) normalizing and standardizing the attributes of the resources that are being managed. This step involves (ii) Allocating and optimizing constrained resources using a DLB. (iii) Succeeding in minimizing delay. The advantages of DLB for IoT storage are scalability, cost efficiency, and security is effectively discussed. Finally, DLB approach is which leverages the large amounts of data generated by IoT devices. Furthermore, a deep learning model is proposed for predicting the load balancing efficiency of DLB in a cloud environment. Finally, the experimental results are analyzed and the implications of the proposed approach are clearly discussed. The performance evaluation metrics are Response Time (RT), Makespan (MS), Associated Overhead (AO) and Migration Time (MT) of the proposed work DLB compared with existing techniques are TA, ESCE and TA + ESCE. The results demonstrated that DLB is a promising technique for cloud load balancing of IoT devices.

Collagen fibrils serve as the building blocks of the extracellular matrix, providing a resilient and structural framework for tissues. However, the bundling of collagen fibrils is of paramount importance in maintaining the structural integrity and functionality of various tissues in the human body. In this scenario, there is limited exploration of molecules that promote the bundling of collagen fibrils. Investigating the interactions of well-known carotenoids, commonly associated with ocular health, particularly in the retina, with collagen presents a novel and significant area of study. Here, we studied the influence of lutein, a well-known carotenoid present in many plant tissues and has several biological properties, on the structure, thermal stability, self-assembly, and fibrillation of collagen. Fibrillation kinetics and electron microscopic analyses indicated that lutein did not interfere with fibrillation process of collagen, whereas it enhances the lateral fusion of collagen fibrils leading to the formation of compact bundles of thick fibrils under physiological conditions. The hydrophobic and hydrogen bonding interactions between lutein and collagen fibrils are most likely the cause of the bundling of the fibrils. In recent years, efforts have been made to reduce deforestation to conserve the ecosystem. In the current scenario, agro-cultivated products are used instead of wood for engineering applications. Thus, natural lignocellulosic fibres are used as a reinforcing material and have been extremely attractive to industries and the scientific community during the past few decades. This study aimed to examine the use of natural fibres extracted from Typha angustata grass as reinforcement in polymer matrix composites. The density of the fibres was 1.015 g/cc. Chemical analysis confirmed that T. angustata fibres (TAFs) have a cellulose content of 73.54 wt%, a hemicellulose content of 10.11 wt%, a lignin content of 6.23 wt% and a wax content of 0.23 wt%. The crystallinity index (65.16 %) and crystalline size (6.40 nm) were identified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The presence of functional groups in the TAFs was examined by employing Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The presence of cellulose at peak intensities of C2, C3 and C5 in the TAFs was confirmed using 13 C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. The single fibre tensile test revealed that the tensile strength was 665 ± 7 MPa and Young's modulus was 27.45 ± 3.46 GPa. The thermal stability of the TAFs was examined by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and the prominent peak was observed at 298.48 °C, with a kinetic activation energy of 67.99 kJ/mol. The surface roughness of the fibres was analysed by atomic force microscopy (AFM) with an accuracy of 1 nm. The objective of this work is to explore the natural cellulosic fibers extracted from Nendran Banana Peduncle plants. This is the first time, the tests are carried out in the Nendran Banana Peduncle Fiber (NBPF) to measure the properties of the chemical, physical, mechanical, thermal (TGA/DTG), X-ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis, Fourier-transform Infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) analysis and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) furnished in this work. The Weibull distribution analysis was adopted for the analysis of diameter, tensile strength and Young's modulus of the fiber. The XRD analysis for the NBPF shows that the crystallinity index of 53.3%and crystallinity size of 4.72 nm. Thermogravimetric analysis depicted that NBPF can withstand thermally up to 356 °C. FT-IR results proved the existence of different chemical compositions and their corresponding functional groups. AFM analysis revealed the surface of the fiber found as rough. Background and Aim of the Study: Rheumatic mitral stenosis (RMS) is an autoimmune, progressive destructive valve disease occurring as a sequele of streptococcal infection. Epidemiological studies support an association of vitamin D deficiency with initial susceptibility and severity of autoimmune diseases. The aim of the present study was to assess serum level of 25 hydroxyvitamin D in subjects of RMS and assess if any correlation exists with serum levels of vitamin D and severity of disease along with calcification assessed semi-quantitatively by echocardiography by applying Wilkins score., Method: Fifty five patients of RMS without any calcification of the valves (Group A) assessed by echocardiography along with fifty five patients of RMS with mild to moderately calcified valves (Group B, Wilkins calcium score 1 or 2) and 55 patients with severely calcified valves (Group C, Wilkins calcium score 3 or 4) were enrolled for the study. All subjects underwent clinical, echocardiographic, and biochemical evaluation. The total Wilkins score, Wilkins calcium score along with serum level of 25 hydroxyvitamin D was evaluated in all the patients., Results: The median serum level of 25 hydroxyvitamin D was significantly lower in Group B (20.4ng/ml, p<0.001) and group C (11.4ng/ml, p<0.001) compared to Group A patients (27.9ng/ml). Similarly serum level of 25 hydroxyvitamin D in Group C patients were significantly less than Group B patients (p<0.001). A significant inverse correlation was identified between serum level of 25 hydroxyvitamin D and total Wilkins score (r=-0.65, p<0.001) as well as Wilkins calcium score (r=-0.69, p<0.001). But no correlation was identified between 25 hydroxyvitamin D levels and other echocardiographic parameters of RMS., Conclusion: Our study showed a significantly lower level of 25 hydroxyvitamin D in subjects of RMS with severely damaged and calcified valves as compared to those with less severely damaged non-calcified valves and it correlated with both Wilkins score and Wilkins calcification score. Atresia of the right coronary artery ostium is a rare anatomic variant of the coronary circulation. It is often difficult to differentiate from single coronary artery. Its presence unassociated with any other anomaly has never been described in an adult individual.
